So I fell ill for few months now. I couldn't groom my mini schnauzer as needed. He ended up with dreads. He also had thorn stripe stuck on his hip which I had to shave off. Booked with TISHA as soon as I could and took him in. Explained his poor conditions and no one judged me. Tisha was so kind to us. I asked that he be shaved down to restart. He looks great! Came in today for a small pet and waited in line to pay only to be sent back to wait for someone else to help... then 10 minutes later I decided it wasn't a pressing issue (my bird seems a little lonely) and started walking out. The Eastern at Patrick Petsmart.    In the Las Vegas valley people love their pets. The evidence is that people in the metropolitan area have supported their pet retailers. If you live in Las Vegas or really anywhere, have you noticed that the pet retailers have in general been unaffected by the economy and pandemic? In this Petsmart, the only difference, I have noticed are the far less cats available for adoption. I am one of the Las Vegas valley residents that supports the pet retailer.   I have been a customer here going back to 2009 when I adopted my cat. Prior to then, I had been a visitor who always looked at the cats up for adoption. *    The reality is that Petsmart is a superstore specializing in pets related inventory including live fish, hamsters, and reptiles. This includes the hard to find products that department stores and supermarkets do not carry. One of them is Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract. When I adopted her my cat had litter box challenges. Cat Attract, which I had only been able to find in Petsmart and Petco has made both our lives easier over the years. The same cannot be said for my wallet, considering it costs approximately $17. Fortunately I have been able to switch her to less pricey litter.    This Petsmart complements the next store Walmart shopping experience. Although Walmart charges far less, they are frequently out of stock. In these situations Petsmart has come to the rescue. Recently, I have picked up Senior Cat Chow at Petsmart. This is one product where they are competitively priced. When I buy at Petsmart first, upon entering and leaving Walmart, I show my Petsmart receipt and there is no worries.    The one worry here are the prices. In some categories they are inflated. Litter boxes are an example. When Walmart practically ran out of litter boxes here, I stopped here. It turned out to be only a stop. The litter boxes available started out at over $12. That is rediculous when afterwards, I brought one for less than $5 in Smith's. On the subject of prices, I have been a Petsmart card member for over $10 yet never got a break.    Just like the cats that have been available for adoption over the years, the employees have been friendly. It is common practice for an employee to introduce me at the door and act very pleasant at the register. However, it is not all too common to have a sales associate on the floor. Related to customer service are the third party organizations that adopt the kitty cats and hold events throughout the years. A week ago, there was an event providing low price vaccinations for cats. I have jotted down the phone number of a couple just in case I have kitty cat related questions.     Just like many of the residents in the Las Vegas valley, I love my pet and support the pet Supercenters that sell the products that add to our quality of life. My pup and I are always greeted when we walk through the doors here. I'm able to find most everything I come in looking for. Aisles are clean and organized. Lines aren't too long. Prices are reasonable. I like the variety of collar designs they have. I also like their options for raw food/meal toppers and their occasional sale/clearance section. August 31, 2023 - My baby is 8 Months old and 100 lbs. of LOVE! We had an 8 am appointment and off we went to take her to the Beauty Parlor. Luckily she was the only one this morning at this time. Because my Hericayne is Strong and very Playful. Petsmart has a wonderful team and Brandon was lucky enough to Beautify our baby. I asked him how she did and he said she is strong but was a good girl. I am calling it a doggy salon, Everything was clean and the tables evenly spaced. We asked how they did the nails and they file them down with I think it was like a Dremmel. We are happy about that extra service they offer. Her ears were cleaned. This Grooming team did a great job and I was happy to see how much they care about their Furry, 4 Legged Clients. As we were leaving a Cat had an appointment, and they asked them to wait because Hericayne is a big strong girl, so they were kind enough to be patient until Hericayne came out. Hericayne had a great experience being this was her first time away from us. They give you a time frame, but sometimes it may take a little longer depending on the client. 2 1/2 hours and my Hericayne was all Beautified. If you need your Fur Baby to be Beautified, definitely make an appointment. We had a great experience and I'm sure you will as well. Pricing is reasonable, and so happy for the Nail service they provide! read more

I booked my appointment for today online. My dogs had shots yesterday and there was a question if my dog has had shots within 48hrs and I said yes... the scheduling app didn't try to stop me from booking or indicated I wouldn't been seen. I understand that it's a precaution but it made me wast me time, stress out my dog and the groomers didn't even bother to check the appointment which couldn't prevent me from driving over and waiting 20mins to be told that I couldn't be seen. They should be more diligent with checking who is coming and see if there are any issues that will be preventing them from being seen. The WORST! Whatever you do, NEVER order online. An order was incorrectly shipped to me. I was told by 2 different supervisors, to take it to any Petsmart for a refund. The cashier LIED. I explained the situation. I told her I had the order in the trunk of my car. She told me they have nothing to do, with online orders. That's totally separate. Another call to customer service. 30 minutes later, she told her boss, there was a miscommunication. When I asked for the store manager, per customer service, a different employee helped me. When I stated that the cashier told me she couldn't help me, she said she couldn't hear me, and that I didn't have the merchandise with me. Can you say zero integrity? I knew you could. After a customer service supervisor told me to ask for the manager, the manager obviously sent someone to deal with me, instead of facing me. I didn't raise my voice one octave. That's not me. Even though they refused to credit my PayPal account and give me a store gift card. What a bunch of . I have since deleted my online account and will never do business, with Petsmart again. Thomas Huddleston is the absolute worst pet vet/doctor ever and I will NEVER return to this place or even the petsmart grooming now because of how absolutely terrible Thomas Huddleston was! Thomas doesn't give every option in which to help your pet and misleads you on what to do to try and help your pet. Hey will first recommend a X-Ray for $350 with the option to send to radiologist for an extra $250 but will never mention the option of an ultrasound which is only $450 total also which I found out is more effective way of trying to find any issues in your pet. Also only found out during a later visit with another doctor there that you guys aren't really suited to fully help in every way but will act like you are after milking my credit card for $1500 and then only after will mention that you all aren't really suited to fullly help pets in every way. Absolutely terrible and my dog got to the point where I had to carry him into an emergency pet hospital else where. You all are very lucky he is pulling through and getting better or you'd have law suite on your hands with how absolutely terrible Thomas Huddleston is! read more

I stopped here because I made a stop at the Walmart next door and I needed to get some things for the queen of the household. When I got to the register, my PetSmart card would not scan, I was asked for my phone number which didn't work either. Then I was asked for an alternate number. The checked tried scanning my card again and it came yup nada once more. She suggested I redo my membership. I left the cart there and walked out. I later learned that PetSmart was moving away from card scanning to customers entering their phone numbers. The woman here was too uninformed to tell me that. Talk about rude employees sabotaging a business! I was trying a harness that I found after months of searching for my six pound York right at an unoccupied cash register to save myself the trouble of yet another Petsmart return. I'm still burning over the way they refused refunds during the COVID19 closings and left me with twenty dollars of frozen raw food that turned to mush before my dog could eat it. At this place, employees in dirty dingy uniforms followed me and harassed me at the checkout. Watching me openly work on a task common in pet stores, two employees questioned me about what I was doing and when I ignored them to concentrate on all the customizing latches, they actually called the manager to humiliate me by telling lies about needing the very register I was using despite four being empty and only one open. Poor girl. She's surrounded by sabotage. She quite foolishly protected her employees instead of performing due diligence with customer service. Her employees were openly racist and harassed me instead of serving the many other customers in the store looking for things and standing in the long line that only became shorter when I became a target of their racist malice. When I told them how rude they were, they argued with me. The bad clerk in a dirty uniform told me that she was only there to pay her rent and she doesn't care how Petsmart's customers feel about her performance. She repeated her contempt for Petsmart and Petsmart customers many times and quite loudly for everyone to hear. I told her how wrong she was to say such terrible things but she repeated her disdain for her job many times as I tried my best to teach her some business skills from the kindness of my heart. The manager is surrounded by people that are sabotaging her business in exchange for making her feel part of their society and culture, but she not. It's sad that she could lose her job for the ways her employees disrespect the store and the people loyal to the company. I have been a Petsmart customer since they opened. I've always had at least one dog. Chewy wants me to shop online and their customer service is sublime. You can even become an affiliate and sell from your own store. Unfortunately today was our first bad experience at this petsmart after visiting for so many years. We went in to buys fish for my daughter's fishtank and we were interested in buying a few Galaxy rasbora and a couple of Peacock gudgeons but the price was not listed for the rasbora so we asked an associate who also could not find it and she said she would get the person in charge of the fish department because she was not sure which price it was. So we waited and when the person in charge came to help she tried to tell us that the galaxy rasbora were actually Peacock gudgeons and they were $8.99 and that the Peacock gudeons were actually swordtail Molly's. We tried telling her that was wrong but she didn't really try to help us get the correct prices and all she said was I'm not going to argue with you. We were not there to argue we just didn't want to pay 8.99 for a fish that is listed for 3.99 on the petsmart website. Really terrible custom service. Tried calling to find out about the grooming hours. No answer. Drive down there and the grooming was closed. No hours posted. So I asked a cashier as there was no other employee on the floor for the info. She told me to Google the website, didn't even give me the website just said look up petsmart. I needed a pill gun for my cat, they do not carry 1 for cats, but they carry 4 for Dogs, all of which were too big for my cat. There was no medical stuff for cats in the store. Cats live between 12 and 20 years they are long term pets we love and sometimes have medical needs! SHAME on a store that seems to think only dogs and dog owners care about medical care for their pets! I am sick of pet retailers catering only to dog owners. I will not be shopping with you again. They know all the products very well and can answer most any question you have. In all the years I have come to this location, I have yet to have a single negative experience. I'm surprised there are no reviews mentioning the Birds and all the supplies they have at this location because the selection is great and so are the 3 employees that helped me with the purchase of 2 parakeets, cage, food, treats and toys. They explained all the options without pushing me to the most expensive. (btw they have other types of birds too.) I was surprised by the number of parakeets they had to choose from because I had tried to other shops but they had only a couple to choose from and weren't friendly or helpful. I decided on the two I wanted and one (Sky) was captured immediately but the other (Surf) took some doing. The young women helping me were more than patient and never once displayed a sense of frustration. I feel that the supplier they use for parakeets is excellent because Sky and Surf were readily getting on my finger by the first night in my house. I purchased on the Friday before Christmas. They were busy but even with all that business they spent a lot of time with me. If you're thinking about getting a bird, check them out! read more

We have had a good experience with the training that has been offered and I have seen a noticeable difference with my dog. Angie is kind, knowledgeable and passionate about animals. My dog has had better attention to me while out on walks, listens to me better and we found a harness that works before for my dog instead of the traditional collar. I have noticed multiple times that PetSmart would call me and say that training has been canceled for the day so it would be pushed back to next week. My roommate (ex) takes his dog here, has been for years and years, the dog is now 13-14 years old and has bad arthritis in his back legs, he cant stand for very long and prefers to lie down due to pain--we brought him here to be groomed many times over the years. Today the groomer rudely told us that she didnt have the patience to work with the dog if he cant stand to be groomed, we should just take him to Petco. Very rude. Cold. Called Petco on Blue Diamond and the woman who answered said, sure we will groom him. No problem! Save yourself some time and trouble and just go to Petco, its the same price...$50! read more

We've been flipping between this one and the one on Decatur/Charleston, but we like this one better. With a high-maintenance cocker spaniel that needs grooming desperately in the summer time (he gets super hot and lays on the tile floor), lest he look like a mini newfoundland or a poodle (gasp), this is our best bet. We've taken him here a couple times and this time, was the best haircut (very short) and should last for a few months. We're most likely going to come here from now on. (The last time at the other location, was a 4.5 hour groom.) Our other dog, Labrador-Pit Bull mix, is low maintenance; she just needs a bath & brush. read more

Oh well... It is what it is. I just came to grab some things for the new puppy I adopted yesterday. Checking prices too, which we all know are expensive. Maybe I'll go to Sam's club and see if they have a humongous bag of dog food for a reasonable price and then maybe I'll get greeted upon entering since I must show my card to be let in. It pains me to give this amount of stars. LOVE this location and the people. Im thinking my issue is a Corporate thing. Im in retail, i manage a large grocery store... this Covid has wreaked havoc on us BUT... i went in to get a new fish tank cover for my 75 tank and check valve...42.00 i also had to get special dogfood which is 65.00 a bag... i get my pet things monthly so were not strangers to the store. So the light box has specific size on it, but its too short... dont know why, the measurements arent right... the check valve wouldnt work... they have a hand written sign on a register they dont often open about NO REFUNDS due to covid, which no one would see unless theyre using that register...i dont need a refund, i need a working check valve... need the light to fit Already wrote to topfin, theyre concern is it was possibly repacked because it SHOULD fit a 75 gal tank So now i have to order food online from Chewie and go to the fish store when theyre open for a valve and scratch the tank top because im out 50 and cant drop another 50, well at least not here. Dont understand what the hell covid has to do with exchanging items that are bad. Unless they had customers stocking up on fishtanks i dont see why covid has any impact. If you chose to hang a sign with no meaning, then i dont want to shop there any more... or have my dog groomed there either...which btw he was due 5/1... Very disappointed they throw a regular customer to the wolves... im still wondering what people stockpiled in april that would cause a refund issue...i also see on the receipt you have a no refunds u til further notice begining march 2020... i have an april receipt that doesnt have that... not ok petsmart... both issues stink and are shady AND have no valid reason, except to you.
