Points for friendliness but I have taken my dogs to Petsmart groomers in Florida, Connecticut, and here in Michigan, have given Holland a try twice. Appreciated that the manager was kind when scheduling the appointment and setting aside a requested purchase item they were low in stock on, but the first visit they didn't trim according to drop off instruction. On the second visit Brenda seemed to really listen and while it's true I always request they don't cut the fur off my papillon's ears, this time after getting home I realized they hadn't even given him a bath with his full groom appointment. I pay extra to not have my dogs left sitting while they work on other dogs and have never picked up a pet with a full groom and not had them had a bath, but upon getting home discovered he still had the same small bit of debris on the back of his ear as he went in with and no clean dog smell of having had a bath. Didn't smell bad or anything just not that fresh clean smell I'm used to after a grooming appointment. To be fair to the business I have not complained directly to them as I don't want a refund or any recompense just like to trust who I drop my dog off to and am disappointed with this location's quality of service. read more

You shaved my cat, she had some mats I thought there might be a tool they had to get them out. I had no idea he was gonna shave my long haired cat! Then we brought our golden retriever in for a puppy cure, I asked to clean his butt up a little like when we get full grooms. He literally shaved a circle around his butt hole. Really!!! read more

I tried using their website to register and make an appointment that way but they said they weren't accepting sign in from social websites, whatever that meant. read more

In May of 2022 I brought my dog to holland Petsmart to get groomed. Not only did they say overcharge, they didn't even groom to the specifications I asked and they also cut my dogs foot enough to where it was bleeding. They did NOT even offer to cover vet bills. Thankfully I was able to wrap it and clean it myself. Because of that bad experience I went other places. Fast forward 7 months later: Last week (January 2023) I decided to try them again just because of how close they are to where I live. The grooming this time was better. Price was still way too high though. But this time he caught kennel cough. My dog showed symptoms the next day after being groomed. It has been a week and a half and he is getting worse. So I have a vet appt for him Thursday. Over the weekend I called Petsmart and they ignored my calls. Today finally got ahold of them and they said it's not their fault (even though I have proof he hasn't been anywhere besides there) and that they only require dogs to have rabies vaccines. No other ones are required. They refuse to take responsibility or even try and make it right/ help with the vet bill etc. The woman (Alicia) was very rude and disrespectful and did not care and or show any sort of concern. Normally give places 3 changes but this specific Petsmart is 2 and done. 70% of the people in my life has dogs. They have all been notified. Have also had bad experiences at this Holland Petsmart. And they have lost all of your business. Recommend trying literally anywhere else for grooming etc. besides this place. 12635 Felch St. Holland MI 49424. I don't believe in regarding anyone's review as Gospell, I prefer to find out my self. Especially when I see poor spelling and grammar and vague descriptions of the reason for leaving the bad review in the first place (usually these are disgruntled past employees). Most people who have a good to great experience don't take the time to leave a review. So I'm going to! That being said, I just booked my appointment and out of curiosity I went to the reviews for PetSmart Holland and found more bad than good. Well, I've had nothing but friendly, professional service with excellent quality services provided for my Mabel Jean. The prices are on the website and/or told up front so if it's not in your budget, move along. Don't post negative reviews to hurt the business because you can't afford it but did it anyway. I always feel inclined to tip generously as well because Mabel always seems happy to be there and has a pretty handkerchief on when she's picked up...above and beyond! If any employees are reading this, I think you're awesome and I am excited to see (& sniff) my Mabel after her appointment. read more

Kellin was my hamster "guru"! I came in looking to learn more about a hamster for my 7 and 9 year old kids, and he was extremely knowledgeable, as well as obviously truly caring about humane treatment of the animals - not just selling us something. He patiently and expertly answered my numerous questions, as well as making recommendations on the right species for our family (actually leading us to a different kind than we originally thought we wanted) and how to create a habitat where they would actually be healthy, happy, and able to maintain some of the natural instincts they would have in the wild. PetSmart - Pet Stores Near Me - Holland, Michigan

My dog has been going to PetSmart for training, grooming and everything in between since he was a puppy 7 years ago. We have lived all over the country as a military family and have never experienced such poor customer service. We had a poor grooming experience in August where his entire body was trimmed to look like a Pomeranian, and more upsetting his tail (which does NOT grow back) was chopped down. He did not look like my dog anymore. After talking with the leader over the phone, they stated the card used couldn't be refunded over the phone. Having been in finance for over 10 years, I thought it was weird, but she guaranteed me my account would be credited for the next time I wanted to come in. She also guaranteed that the account had been notated to show no cutting when he comes in, something I had been assured of before because his tail had been a previous issue and I always made sure to say no cutting when dropping him off but obviously it didn't happen. Also, removing a few matts does not equal cutting his entire body down close to the skin. I booked one last appt for him since we had a credit on file. After arriving to pick him up and finding there was NO credit on the account but rather the person I spoke with in August notated it had been refunded when it had NOT been, I was irritated. My dog was ready to go, antsy and barking. They had to get the manager to check on it, and the girl behind the counter kept saying snide remarks like "well it looks like grandma was extremely happy when he was picked up last time" (what?). They made me out to be a liar over a 56$ grooming appt. After a while, a groomer Zoe came out and said she remembered the situation and that he was supposed to have a credit on the account. Even after she was nice enough to stand up and say something, the manager Anastasia came back and made it sound like she moved mountains by calling "her boss" to get an approval. I was exhausted, offended and completely over the situation. I will never be using PetSmart again after the way I was treated with this incredibly poor customer service. I will never understand why it was that big of a communication mishap and why I was treated like a liar over such a small amount, when I even said I will pay if necessary. Such poor customer service. Do better, Holland. Petco has never treated my dog or me this way, so they will be getting me, my family's and anyone I can tell about it's future business. read more
