The sales lady--who I believe is also the owner--offered to just sell me one instead of the whole pack, which was awesome and so thoughtful. I think it was literally just a dollar. The shop itself isn't huge like a PetSmart, but it's well laid out, easy to find what you're looking for, and has a really homey, family-run feel. The employees were genuinely kind and welcoming to me and my buddy. Granbury is a little out of the way for me, but honestly, I wouldn't mind the drive again--customer service like this goes a long way. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

Midtown has nice kennels, treat the dogs well and have a nice outdoor area. I also like that they are right next door to a 24x7 veterinary clinic in case of an emergency. They also let the groomers from next door work with your dog during his/her stay. Love that! It is great to be able to pick your dog up on a Sunday. Others like to charge you for an extra night. But, more importantly, why put your dog through staying an additional night? They do not nickel and dime you to death like one of the others in town. The other charges to give your dog treats, walks, etc. No thank you to the additional charges. Just treat my dog well! This is, in my opinion, the best in Granbury.

I asked if they did them there, and was told they do not, but that I could go to Tractor Supply because every 2 weeks an outside company did them there for a reduced price. I went online and made an appointment. Even though I arrived a half an hour early and was 1st in line, I wasn't seen till 27 people came before me. They had made 47 appointments for the same time. Then they forgot my tag. Then when I arrived at Petsense There was a sign stating they used the same outside company to give Rabies shots. ????? Fast forward to my Petsense appointment. I was told by the Manager that the fee was $56 then when I got there it was $67. After a lengthy debate they charged me the original price. But, next time it would be the $67. I got my dog back bleeding above her eye. When I called the Manager back he insinuated that my dog scratched herself. He said they don't use clippers on the face, yet I witnessed the groomer using the clippers on her face.

Then was told my pet was hard to handle which couldn't be further from the truth-the most loving animal anyone could want-everyone is a friend. Then was falsely accused of something I did not do. But then when my husband was in trauma care 75 miles away and we needed assistance with our baby, they were not concerned nor helpful-- but, in time, I overlooked and forgave that incident with understanding. The kicker was recently when in an emergency I called explaining the severity of my husbands emergency and injury, that he was about to have emergency brain surgery in Ft Worth, I was desperate. There was NOT even the courtesy of RETURNING the call to explain one way or the other--total silence. We were one of their first customers--would have been a life long customer until the mistreatment started. My husband died. I found refuge at Dapper Dog In Acton. WOW!!! I literally can't say enough about them. They jumped right in to assist. Then, before my husband passed away, I had to call to extend my pets stay and they were amazing! Told me not to worry about a thing--they would make room and take good care --just to let them know when to make my pet ready for pickup. When faced with the biggest loss in your life, NOT worrying about your kids is truly a life saver. Too bad Clover Pets doesn't see it that way.
