This place is terrible. It's nasty and over priced. I'm allergic to a lot of small animals, and because of the poor ventilation and the lack of proper cleaning, I can't stay in here more than maybe 10 or 15 minutes. Their fish section is terrible. A lot of illness. They don't even sell the proper supplies for the types of animals they sell. Most of the staff is highly uneducated and can't answer the simplest of questions. They did recently hire a new girl who kind of knows her stuff, but she shouldn't be telling people that a goldfish can live in a bowl without proper space and filtration. Nothing could be further from correct. They don't order any natural scape supplies, just ugly, colorful, for lack of a better term, clown vomit decorations. Even those cost entirely too much. If I am remembering correctly, an old 20 gallon kit had a price of $200+ on it. Go to Granbury and get one for $89.99. It will be newer and you won't waste your money.
I, personally, have never taken my dogs to be groomed here. My best friend took her dogs to have their nails clipped, and didn't go back. Sometimes while you shop you can hear them crying, etc. I wouldn't wish this stress on any dog.
The owner is rude. She is trying to sell this store and I think that's why it is being run into the ground. She simply doesn't care anymore. read more
