It was Christmas Day and I had a cat that was sick to the point of being near death. She seemed to…read morerally a little the day before, but got considerably worse during the next day. I searched for any emergency animal clinic near me and made several calls, but got no answers. Dr. Terry has always treated my animals in the past and I saw where he posted an emergency number. Thinking I could, at least, get a recommendation from someone, I called and got Dr. Terry at home. He immediately agreed to meet me at the clinic. Right away, he discovered a serious abscess and found that the cat was badly dehydrated. He spent part of his Christmas saving my cat. My daughter later said that it was what people who love animals do. Cat's was back to her old self in a couple of days. I'll never forget his kindness and selflessness.

There were adorable, friendly, well socialized kittens everywhere! You can buy a small thing of treats for cheap and a lot of what was in the gift shop was reasonably priced as well. Even things for 25 or 50¢ so it's easy to let the kid pick a few things and they feel treated. They have cat toys everywhere so it's easy to be interactive, they also have comfortable seating so you can snuggle up with a kitten (or 3!). Great experience and you can adopt a kitten if you fall in love with one, which is so easy to do. The owner was kind and friendly and was great talking to my 6 year old too. They have party packages too so I'm considering having her birthday there.

The cats are super friendly and full of personality: playful, energetic, and always ready for some attention or a good game of chase around the lounge. It's obvious that their environment helps them socialize and show off their unique charms, which is such an important part of getting them ready for their forever homes. The facility itself is clean and many of kittens love to snuggle a d cuddle. I also appreciate how this space supports cat socialization and adoption. Highly recommend this place for cat lovers of all ages, especially families with kids. Whether you're looking to adopt, hang out with some adorable cats, or just enjoy a unique, joyful outing, The Twisted Whisker is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Granbury area!

They have every right to do so, I cannot argue with that, and I respect that. Unfortunately though, it does limit my thoughts of them as a business, and leads me to giving them only one star ranking as a new business in Dublin Texas who seems like it would be eager to get off the ground and do great things. Hopefully things get better. If enough service is turned away, it may open an eye.

Their fish section is terrible. A lot of illness. They don't even sell the proper supplies for the types of animals they sell. Most of the staff is highly uneducated and can't answer the simplest of questions. They did recently hire a new girl who kind of knows her stuff, but she shouldn't be telling people that a goldfish can live in a bowl without proper space and filtration. Nothing could be further from correct. They don't order any natural scape supplies, just ugly, colorful, for lack of a better term, clown vomit decorations. Even those cost entirely too much. If I am remembering correctly, an old 20 gallon kit had a price of $200+ on it. Go to Granbury and get one for $89.99. It will be newer and you won't waste your money. I, personally, have never taken my dogs to be groomed here. My best friend took her dogs to have their nails clipped, and didn't go back. Sometimes while you shop you can hear them crying, etc. I wouldn't wish this stress on any dog. The owner is rude. She is trying to sell this store and I think that's why it is being run into the ground. She simply doesn't care anymore.

Our dogs were anxious when they arrived since we live on a country property and they have very little exposure to people except for my husband and myself and a couple of family members. The girls did an excellent job trying to form bonds with both of our dogs and make them feel comfortable. Special thanks to the manager Amy, for the amazing communication and support, to Abby for taking the time and have patience to start forming bonds with our boys, thanks to all the staff that work so hard to keep our pets safe, and the owner Carie for quick responses to questions I had and for opening an outstanding facility in the community.
