Turns out you can't trust them, I will forever feel awful about letting him down, he was only 7 years old. He died from diabetes which is treatable!! She suspected that but apparently didn't want to treat him. I am heartbroken. All those animals they see they are NOT just a number, they are our best friends. We did opt for the cremation service and whoever provided that did a wonderful job. However when I went to pick him up the girl at the front told me she would be with me in a few (no one was in the waiting room or at the front desk) so I patiently waited for her to finish up. All the while she carrying on a conversation with 2 other workers. It took another worker walking out from the back to ask if I had been helped for the girl at the front to help me. Bottom line this place is disgusting and the staff is rude and not caring or compassionate. If you are able to avoid giving them your business most definitely do so. I will say the vet was very nice and compassionate and that's about all the good I have to say.

Left him walking on all fours with no visible limp and picked him up two days later walking on three with right front leg just hanging. Asked some questions and got some loud "answers." So it's not for our sweet boy. Not accusing anyone, just asking, "What happened?" He was running and playing normally on our two acres before we took him. They say he was limping when we brought him in. Go figure.
