Midtown has nice kennels, treat the dogs well and have a nice outdoor area. I also like that they are right next door to a 24x7 veterinary clinic in case of an emergency. They also let the groomers from next door work with your dog during his/her stay. Love that! It is great to be able to pick your dog up on a Sunday. Others like to charge you for an extra night. But, more importantly, why put your dog through staying an additional night? They do not nickel and dime you to death like one of the others in town. The other charges to give your dog treats, walks, etc. No thank you to the additional charges. Just treat my dog well! This is, in my opinion, the best in Granbury.

The sales lady--who I believe is also the owner--offered to just sell me one instead of the whole pack, which was awesome and so thoughtful. I think it was literally just a dollar. The shop itself isn't huge like a PetSmart, but it's well laid out, easy to find what you're looking for, and has a really homey, family-run feel. The employees were genuinely kind and welcoming to me and my buddy. Before our…read more1st (and only) groom I called 2 different times, during normal business hours and failed to reach anyone. Both times I left a voicemail asking to schedule an appointment. Finally on the 3rd try I was able to speak to a person, scheduled an appointment and the groom was great!!!! 2 months later, I'm trying again to schedule an appointment, I've left 3 voicemails and still have not had a call back. So IF you are fortunate enough to get in touch with them, or get a return call, the groom is great! But if you don't want my business enough to return 3 calls (or 5 calls if you count all the times no one has bothered to call me back) then I'll take my business elsewhere.

This company is owned by Tractor Supply. First I called to get an appointment at Petsense and I was…read moretold I needed current Rabies shot record. I asked if they did them there, and was told they do not, but that I could go to Tractor Supply because every 2 weeks an outside company did them there for a reduced price. I went online and made an appointment. Even though I arrived a half an hour early and was 1st in line, I wasn't seen till 27 people came before me. They had made 47 appointments for the same time. Then they forgot my tag. Then when I arrived at Petsense There was a sign stating they used the same outside company to give Rabies shots. ????? Fast forward to my Petsense appointment. I was told by the Manager that the fee was $56 then when I got there it was $67. After a lengthy debate they charged me the original price. But, next time it would be the $67. I got my dog back bleeding above her eye. When I called the Manager back he insinuated that my dog scratched herself. He said they don't use clippers on the face, yet I witnessed the groomer using the clippers on her face.
