My dogs have been going here for years for grooming but their last visit was a complete disappointment that disrespected me and my time. Their normal groomer is no longer working there so a different groomer was recommended. After dropping them off, I received a call 1.5 hours later telling me that my two miniature schnauzers were too aggressive to take out of the kennel to groom. THIS HAS NEVER OCCURRED. EVER! Upon arriving to pick up my un-groomed pups, the groomer said "It was very busy in here today and I may have reached for them too quickly." WHAT?! So instead of having a different groomer complete the job, I had to come and pick up my babies who have never been aggressive towards a groomer. The groomer was the problem and not them. I am beyond done. I contacted a different recommended groomer who was more than happy to take them on. You not only traumatized my pups but you wasted my time. read more

Called in advance to see if I could come in and meet the cats, scheduled a time- I get there and staff is completely clueless saying they never scheduled a meet. Says they'll ask around or get me an answer, proceeds to ignore me for 45 minutes. I eventually had to leave because it was taking so long, meanwhile the store is completely empty. I scheduled an appointment with PetSmart in Edmond to groom my labradoodle right before he was to have surgery to remove a large tumor. The only available appointment they had was on a Sunday. When making the appointment they asked if I had records of his rabies vaccine. I told them that we had just moved and his records were still in a box somewhere at the house (we had not finished unpacking). I asked if they could call his old vet and obtain the information they needed and they replied yes. I showed up to his grooming appointment and they asked about his rabies vaccine and I said they were supposed to contact my veterinarian. They replied "Oh, we don't do that until right before the appointment" to which I stated "It's Sunday, they are closed". The girl then said "Well maybe the person making the reservation didn't realize it was for Sunday ". I looked at the girl in amazement and said "How could they not know it was for Sunday, they were the one making the appointment?" Needless to say, my dog did not get groomed (even though he was wearing a current rabies tag which they said wasn't acceptable). read more

Petsmart in Edmond,ok is an an absolute horrible place to deal with. I just drove 45mins for my dog's grooming appt and they tell me when I get there that the groomer called in this morning and there is no one else to do it. "Sorry" Are you kidding me! I already don't take my miniature poodle mix there because multiple groomers cut him multiple times and now my bigger dog that you haven't harmed is canceled and you can't be bothered to text or email me that before I get there. Then when I'm on my way home 25 minutes later I get a text that the appointment has been canceled, would I like to reschedule thru this text. Little too late!!!!! read more

Dropped my mini dachshund off for a grooming session and was called shortly after I left for them to tell me that I have to come pick him up because he wouldn't stand up. I have never had this issue before and the groomer told me I had to take him to the vet to get groomed. I take him to the other location on Memorial usually so I called them. They were very kind and love Teddy and got him in asap. He looks great! Avoid this location at all costs. Very unprofessional. The man that checked us in was very nice, just not the girl that attempted to groom him. read more

So my wife and I went to get some stuff to deter our dog from peeing and picked out a bottle we settled on. When an employee stopped us an told us she would not recommend that bottle cause of the smell. So we undid the cap an she was totally right, it reeked so bad that the carpet probably would have turned color haha. Anyways she showed us another more cheaper yet better smelling one and was definitely awesome. After being ejected from another clinic because I asked the staff at PMC on 15th Edmond to wear masks because I'm immunodeficient I was looked at by staff as if my request was insane. Petsmart was more courteous and the staff were all wearing masks and were very prompt to help me. Although my experience with Petsmart has been uneven over the years this staff worked to earn my business unlike to one above. Thank you Petsmart for caring about your customers and staff during this pandemic. read more

I always take my pet here. everyone is very friendly at the dog grooming salon. But this morning August 14, a lady was working at the hairdresser's from, I don't know what her name is, I just know that she is unkind to people, I just know that she has a tattoo on her arm, I tried to contact her, unfortunately I couldn't understand I tried to use a translator for everything she said and she was quite dismissive and she didn't answer me and he sent me to another department. For this reason I will not buy or attend to my pet in this place again, they should have friendly people who are empathetic with people and be considerate to customer who's primary language is not English. I don't really appreciate that an employee did with little empathy made me leave the store in a bad light. I hope this thing won't happen to other customers. read more

I will be commenting on both grooming salon and Banfield pet hospital. For starters, I've been to many Petsmarts in recent years and alarmist started getting disappointed in the quality of grooming services and veterinary care. However, this store has changed my opinion! For the grooming we go to see Christine. She did an amazing job on both of my dogs and is extremely pleasant to talk to. She is really good at teddy bear haircuts by the way! Banfield Pet Hospital staff, including doctors and techs, are so nice and take their time to talk you through everything. You never feel rushed. Bottom line is I know my guys are in safe hands when I take them there and it's the most important thing. Nicely done Petsmart! read more

Beware if you are purchasing prescription food here! Went to Petsmart to purchase my cats C/D prescription food. My bombay cat that knows how to open doors now, opened the pantry door and ate my Main Coons C/D food. Unfortunately, I was unable unable to purchase the C/D food because I did not have a prescription number from Banfield. Banfield was closed so I was unable to get a prescription number from them. I asked the rep if i could purchase it just this one time since I had a valid prescription, she told me no. My kitty has to go without food tonight. Petsmart should have more options to obtain that prescription number. read more

I love every aspect of this pet store and the services that they give. I love the cat adoption center the most because I am a very big cat person and I love how there is an actual room with about 8 cages in it. I also love how there are different cats every time I go. I love the pet grooming service too. I have many people who take their dogs to this place and have always loved the clean cut and the price. I would definitely go here for any of your pet needs. read more

Well don't like to do this but here it goes. Had appointment for 2 dogs august 22nd. One at 11am & the next at 230pm. Got a call little over an hour before 1st appointment. Your groomer is not available. Need to reschedule. Week later. Great! It happens. Next. Show up at 220 for next appointment. Sorry your dog will take too much time to clean, trim & dry so we need to reschedule. Did all my appointments online. Nothing ever notified me about limits. Didn't get a good vibe from young lady who inspected my dog. Sounded more like she didn't want to go the extra mile and take care of our wonderful dog. Sad to say. I deleted my app and will no longer use this location. What happen to customer service. No discount or solution offered. Just we can t help. Need to reschedule a week later. Never mind that I planned my whole day around 2 dogs getting special treatment. read more

Went in to buy our two cats some toys and some more fish for our tank when we see that Okie Kitty Kisses is running an adoption center. We have adopted through them before at the same pet-smart with this exact lady and the kitten we got from her is indeed caught up on their vaccinations and well taken care of. We asked her all the questions about which kittens would be best for the two we already have and she showed us a kennel with 4 kittens. I was trying to decide which kitten I wanted to adopt when my girlfriend said "either one is fine just pick one and it'll be fine" because she's experienced with her cats and it was going to be primarily mine in the house so it was my decision. Once I picked the kitten we were interested in the woman running the center tells us "I'm hesitant on letting you adopt one of our kittens because you saying "pick one". Which was fine because we understand they are able to deny service to anyone they feel isn't fit but we have communicated to her the behaviors of our other cats and that we are experienced with cats as we have TWO already and adopted through her before. It just felt really prejudged and then as we decide to not adopt through her because she wants us to prove ourselves to her we go look at the fish and see her taking a picture of us from the other side of the store. Very unprofessional and my girlfriend was a petsmart member but we will not be coming back to any of these stores anyone because of this unprofessional woman. read more

I've had my dog on the wellness plan at Banfield's for over six years. My experience at Banfield's has been sorely tainted since moving to Edmond. In the past Banfield's has treated us well and were truly interested in caring for my dog in a timely manner. Recently however, to get table time with the Vet you have to wait several days. The only option is to drop the pet off, still usually a two or three day wait, only to drop the pet off early in the morning, leave them in cages all day, to be seen by a Vet at their convenience, and picked up several hours later. During my dogs last visit I dropped him off early in the am, told the check in tech he had an ear problem, waited all day to hear back. The whole time my dog sat in a create. I finally called after not hearing from them to be greeted with some lame excuse as to why I hadn't been contacted. I picked him up several hours later at the end of their business day. The Vet told me the ear was no big deal and not to worry about it. The ear problem persisted and when I tried to get my dog back in for a recheck I was told I had to wait two days for a drop off or five days for one on one with the Vet. I've picked up my pets records and found him a new Vet. Just wondering, if their kids had an ear infection would they be willing to wait five days to see a DR.? read more

There are 2 stores in town to get fish, and this is the much better one. "Fish Staff" is always knowledgable and very helpful. Sometimes tough to get help during busy times but guess that's to be expected. Definitely recommend for fish and puppy adoptions. Not overly fond of the grooming service based on previous bad experience and haven't been back to that part of the store. May have gotten better but again, haven't been back for that. read more

Can't give a zero or I would. I use the pet Smart groomers in Moore and they do a good job on my dog. I moved to Edmond and called a few days ago to make an appointment for my dog and tell them exactly what I want done. I show up today and the girl informs me that she doesn't want to shave him that she will just bathe him. Ummm NO! Left and won't be back. It smells horrible in there too. Clean already. read more

Always a great experience at the PetSmart in Edmond, OK. The managers are wonderful and very knowledgable about the products they carry. Today they honored an item that was priced wrong without making a big deal about it. That was very kind of them and went beyond my expectations. I wish I could remember the manager's name. This store is conveniently located next to my favorite home improvement store, so it's easy to drop in and buy my fur baby a gift on the way home. The sales people are friendly, without being obtrusive, though there doesn't seem to be one on the floor to assist, either. I do like the large assortment of cat items. My brother, who has mild autism, I was buying dog food, when I heard screaming, my brother was looking at the fish when I heard the screaming. When I walked over there, one of the employee were screaming at him and yanking him around by the arm. I ran over to stop the employee, when I stopped him, I asked what was going on. The employee was screaming obscenities at my brother and saying he was holding the fish. The fish was in a small plastic container. He told us to get out and never come back. I have never felt more embarrassed in my life. Please don't ever come here. read more

Petsmart location from hell. Store smells bad. A single register open with a line a mile long & nobody seems to care. After cooling my heels for 5 minutes in said mile long line that wasn't moving, slam dunked my fancy feast cans in the nearest bin I could find and ran out of that nauseating establishment. I got my Pomeranian groomed here. The cut itself was fine. She's had worse cuts before elsewhere. The reason I leave a 2 star review is because I was told on the phone that the hair cut, shampoo, and nail trim would be $37, and when I went to pick her up we paid $61. That's a large difference. Love this place! & this location! The people are so friendly :) I take my husky here to get a bath and brushed! Always impressed with the staff and how well my dog looks when I pick her up. Came here to get some mice for my snake on a time sensitive schedule. I sat waited at the register for a good five minutes waiting for an employee to show up. So finally, i got antsy and walked over to the groomers to have them call someone, and the employee, miss Shirley comes yelling at the employee to shut up and having a general rude attitude. She proceeds to tell me that she had been waiting and watching. But obviously not, because had she, maybe i would've been helped sooner. Pro-tip. Go to petco instead. read more
