Nicole is hands down the best groomer in the area. She is the sweetest, gentlest soul who is great with dogs of all sizes!

Starr Chumard from Lorenzo's Dog Training Team helped us with our previously deviant goldendoodle,…read moreChewbacca. He would spend hours at a time standing in our living room barking at us and had us at wits end. He would pick and choose when he wanted to listen and when he wanted to do his own thing, and he was so terrified/defensive of other dogs, we worried whenever we took him out where other dogs would be. Now, Chewbacca is a top-notch gentleman. Starr not only taught us and Chewy lots of new commands, more importantly she taught us how to handle him and how to take the lead. Chewy has not only completely transformed in listening to us, but he is also now substantially more comfortable around dogs he doesn't know - something we never believed would happen. What Start was able to teach us and Chewy was absolutely life changing for all of us - thank you Starr!

I had no idea just how much better they could be. Starr has brought us a much more relaxed home and for that I am eternally grateful. A couple ways our life has changed: Everytime I had my windows or doors open my boys would bark at the slightest noise whether it be a car, person, or their shadow. I am now able to sleep with my windows open for the first time in 6 years. My neighbors can be outside and I can have my doors open and my boys no longer bark incessantly. I can now sit on my porch with my boys and enjoy my neighborhood and evenings without my boys going crazy and trying to run all over. My boy Cache used to act like a mongrel walking on a leash. We were unable to take him anywhere. He's literally torn pads on his feet trying to get into the vets office from pulling so hard. Since the training, I am able to walk Cache into the vet, get a weight on him by myself, and Cache will actually lay down and wait to be seen. We used to have to wait in the car and carry him in. We recently brought the boys out for icecream and multiple people have commented on just how well behaved they are. A couple months ago we would have never heard that! In January my boys had a difference of opinion about the ownership of a bone and my boy Damian had bit my Cache. Cache understandably had some trust issues. I felt as though I was walking on eggshells thinking they were going to have continual issues. Starr's training has brought my boys back together and have strengthened their bond with not only me and my husband but also with each other. They are starting to play and cuddle with each other again. "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do."- Edward Everett Hale Starr's training works! My whole house is much calmer and I have a renewed confidence in my boys and also myself. I feel much more in control. Training was hard work and dedication but my boys are worth it! Thanks to Starr's training my heart is full of happiness with all of the success we have achieved and no words can truly express just how grateful I am...

Here we are just 3 days from my need for boarding and after numerous phone calls and emails that went unanswered, after jumping through all your hoops, you now tell me you have availability one week AFTER THE DATES I REQUESTED..  Yesterday I made other arrangements for Jackson with another facility tht was NOT my first choice.  Renee Hall, shame on you. I was willing to do whatever you required.  But you thought taking 4 days to respond to me was appropriate. And here we are.  I truly wish you had treated us better.  There's really nothing more to say.

The purpose…read moreof dog daycare is to provide exercise, socialization, and a safe outlet for a dog's energy. If your dog is young, energetic, and still learning, as most adolescent dogs are, you should know exactly how this facility handled our situation. Our Labrador Retriever attended this daycare intermittently from 5 to 11 months of age. After one isolated incident in which he reacted poorly to another dog's correction due to trying to initiate play, the manager reassured us that this was not a serious behavioral issue, that he was simply still learning to respond to cues from other dogs, and that they were happy to continue working with him. We were never told he was on probation or given any deadline for improvement. Over the next three weeks, he attended only two additional visits. During one, he was injured. The staff present that day, as well as the manager in a follow-up call, all told us that he had done nothing wrong and it was through no fault of his own. During the next visit, I monitored the cameras and watched him be removed from group play within 15 minutes of arrival and brought out only three times for about 10 minutes each over more than five hours. When I asked why, the manager said he had done nothing wrong but they were "trying to get ahead of the problem." In other words, they had already labeled him as a problem before he had done anything wrong that day. Yet when he was eventually allowed to rejoin the group, we were told he played appropriately and without incident. This is what should concern prospective clients: we were explicitly told our dog could continue attending and that they would work with him, but instead he was quietly confined for most of the day without our knowledge. Had I not checked the cameras and called to ask what was happening, I have no reason to believe we would have been told. If a facility has already decided that your dog is too much work, they should communicate that honestly rather than continue accepting your dog and effectively sidelining them. After I raised my concerns, the owner informed me that he was no longer welcome. She then suggested that our dog was responsible for the earlier incident in which he was injured--directly contradicting her own staff and manager and attempting to make him seem like the problem even when those who witnessed the event said he was not at fault. Given that there had been no prior warning that dismissal was being considered, and that this decision came immediately after I questioned how he was being treated, the timing felt retaliatory rather than the result of a thoughtful behavioral assessment. When I told her that I intended to leave an honest review describing our negative experience, she became even more defensive and stated that she would fight it back. Unfortunately, after reading prior reviews describing similarly defensive and retaliatory behavior from ownership, this response did not appear to be an isolated incident. For additional context, prospective clients may wish to read the Yelp review from the Nazareth location dated July 17, 2019, which describes similar behavior from ownership. We also had broader concerns. We encountered 2 of their employees outside of daycare and overheard them saying that they feel overwhelmed and that there are too many dogs for the available staff. Our dog was injured more than once, and in one instance staff said they could not identify which dog caused the injury despite cameras throughout the facility. These issues raise serious concerns about staffing and supervision. We were also concerned by multiple episodes of kennel cough and giardia associated with the facility, and our veterinarian specifically warned us that they had seen numerous dogs become ill after attending this facility. To their credit, we were not charged for the day he spent largely confined. If your dog is a high energy dog or puppy who requires patience and continued development, this daycare may decide that your dog is too much work. In our experience, dogs who need extra attention may be blamed, confined, and dismissed rather than appropriately supported.
