This place is a joke! Our pet is a designer dog(Yorkshire Terrier) and should be groomed according to the pet owners desires. Regardless of recommendations! I dropped off our pet at the appointment time, and hours later picked up a shaved pup!!!! Being very upset I asked in a professional manner what was the reason for the misunderstanding? The reply I got was our pet had knots that needed to be removed. Mind you, they're NOT done and I need to bring our pet back the next day! So, I ask what can I do to prevent this next time? I was told bathe and brush to prevent the knotting. And schedule his follow up now (which was 6weeks ago) to keep it up. However the appointment scheduled had been canceled three times by text from then till now. so I called to confirm and they say it was still scheduled. Okay, SO the day comes for the appointment and.. guess what? IT WAS CANCELED AGAIN!!! Im extremely upset with the way they handled the whole situation and will not be going back!! I don't get it? It is with great pleasure that I write a review for our local PetSmart grooming salon. I have been taking my cat, also known as the pride and joy of my life to our local grooming salon since she was a kitten and to be honest this is the only grooming salon I would ever take her to. My cat is a pure bread Persian and quite the princess and quite a handful to be quite honest, but not to the staff at this location. They have greeted both my cat, Dottie and myself almost as if we are family so much that Dottie feels completely comfortable every time she goes there. How often can you say that about a pet when they are dropped off at the groomers? It is one of the best grooming salons I have found. If you are looking for a groomer who takes pride in their work and who will love your pet as if it were theirs, then look no further. I highly recommend Petsmart and I do this without hesitation. Geneva took the extra time to listen to concerns and I couldn't be happier with today's experience. The pup looks great, smells great and his nails were trimmed & smoothed perfectly. Just left this location about 7 minutes ago and just had to give a head's up. I absolutely adore Petsmart and all the items/animals/services they have to offer. Probably my go-to place to pick up new tank decorations and feeder critters. This was my second time this week visiting this location. My first visit was super simple and quick. I went in and was immediately greeted by a super sweet woman who helped us throughout our whole visit. I browsed around the store, looked at the new baby reptiles and just ended up getting a 500 count box of mealworms. She mentioned my Pet-Perks account, which I put in gladly and I was on my way out. Plus with some great coupons for my future purchases! Now for my second visit, sadly it wasn't as smooth as remembered. I came in with two other friends with a plan in mind to purchase two 50 count box of wax worms. Sadly as I walked in I wasn't greeted. And that was something I was hoping to have happened so it would be an easy transition to bring up the topic about getting the feeder bugs (since they are located in the back freezer, away from customers). Going forward, I went towards the aquatics section where they kept the worms at and was hoping there was an associate there. Unfortunately not. But three associates did come out all together from the back freezer and headed towards the front office. Darn, I didn't get a chance to get some assistance. Thankfully, one of my friends had went up to the front lanes to ask a cashier if we could have some help in getting these worm-dudes. They called on the mic and we waited about 10-17 minutes for some assistance. Fortunately a male associate was rushing through the department, but he wasn't there to help me out with the feeders. After seeing his hands filled with Pet Smart related items, he greeted me and asked if I needed anything. And you bet I did. I was so relieved. Got my two 50 count mealworms and headed straight to the door. Don't get me started on the check-out process. :-( Not sure if the place was understaffed OR if associates heard the mic call OR if I came in at the wrong time, but I am overall thankful to be in and out of there in less than 40 minutes. Brought my older dog Joey in for bath, and they did everything he needed including brushing his fur, ear cleaning, etc. Julie was very nice, very personable, and certainly loves her job, and it shows! This Petsmart is one block west of the Sierra Vista Mall. It's not as popular as the one off Shaw in west Fresno. It's hardly ever crowded, and their shelves are never bare or looked picked over, at least in the feline section. My only gripe is with their prices on cat toys. I can't resist - whenever I'm there to stock up on food and littler, I just need to get Puffball and Sleepy something to play with. But asking me to pay $1.09 + tax for a ball made of felt that's smaller than a golf ball? $4.99 for a crunch frog? $8.99 for a plastic stick with a few feathers glued on the end? Someone's making a lot of money off the of ailurophiles. read more

I dealt with probably 4-5 different people and I was not only treated great but this particular store is cleaner than Walmart. And it's for animals, everything is stocked and in its exact place. It was my first time inside of a Petsmart and my first time taking a pet to get groomed since this is my first dog. I've converted from being a cat owner. The visit went well! I didn't make an appointment because I read on the website that walk ins were welcomed but I guess this location gets busy. One of the girls fitted me in for 2:30 and it was around 12. I got his info in and decided to walk around the store. I needed to get my dog food and they have a great and wide selection but I stuck with Ceasers! My dog was following along and we did not have any problems getting around or with other dogs. I dropped him off around 12:30 and they said it would take around 3 hours to get him fully bathed and groomed. I left and waited, almost 2 1/2 hours late (after his 2:30 appt) I called to see if he was ready to pick up and he was! Overall, his session went well, just wish they trimmed his nails a bit more because when he scratches at my feet or on my lap, it still feels pretty sharp. Thank you, Victoria, for grooming my baby! I get my dog groomed here regularly with Samantha. She is amazing and super sweet. She always does a great job with making my dog look clean and pretty. She also always puts bows in her hair! Staff is always helpful and friendly. The prices are higher than other pet store but the staff is well trained and knowledgable. Aquatics is awesome, they will replace any fish or live plant if it dies. They also teach you how to take care of your tank. If you have a question about your pet I'm sure they will have a good answer for you! All the small pets seem to be well cared for, all cages clean and animals seem happy!! I would pass on the salon though just because I can wash and trim my dog myself and I don't think he would like waiting in a kennel. read more

The worst customer service ever in the grooming department Jodi "the manager" walked in telling the nice young lady that was already checking us in that she wont be seeing us. telling her we are 10 minutes late and that we missed our previous appt. which is true due to a family emergency. that previous appt. has nothing to do with this one. 1 of my fur babies appt. was at 2:00pm the other at 3:oopm we arrived at 2:10pm so technically one wasn't late. she tried to say they were both at 2:00pm (not true i have appt. emails to prove it) never once did she say she can take one but not both of them and reschedule the other one that would have been fine with me. The nice young lady went on to tell her we were only 10 minutes late Jodi didn't seem to care with a annoyed face. I will definitely spend my money at another grooming salon. By the way this same individual Jodi was the one that was going to groom by dogs i don't want anyone thats angry with a attitude handling my dogs. We have been taking our dog here for years and the service has been fine. Not most amazing service but not bad enough to send us away either. I usually arrive an hour before our scheduled grooming appointment & they've never had issues with us taking our dog in early, but this day I got there 30mins early instead. I had scheduled an appointment for 12pm and arrived at 11:20. I wait outside the door since there were already 2 families inside. (Only 1 pet family at a time since COVID). I'm first in line and there are two other dogs behind us. One of the groomer comes out to get us checked in and I tell her, I have a 12pm appointment for my dog.. the other two behind me said they were walk-ins and didn't have appointments. The employee got their names and goes back inside.. about 4mins later she comes out and tells me that they can't take me right now because I'm early for the appointment. I proceeded to say "even though I'm 30mins early?" .. to which she replies, "it's 11:28 & she had one walk-in before you and then she'll need to get to these two as well".. gesturing to the two dogs behind me.. I walked away in complete dismay! I had an appointment and they're taking walk-ins before me? Someone who had a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT?! I thought the whole point of an appointment was so I didn't have to wait for service & so they can adhere to a set schedule? Absolutely ridiculous! If appointments aren't being honored then why have appointments at all?! Should I just walk in for all appointments going forward?! I never got an apology for sending me away, but I got a "thank you" for understanding. I'll be taking my service elsewhere. read more

Won't be returning here. My dogs appointment was at 7am since we like him to be the first dog in and out. Called at 9am to be told he was started around 7:30 since the lady grooming him was late. Was told he won't be done for 4-5 hours. We moved here recently and would go to petsmart in the Bay Area who would get my toy poodle in and out within an hour and a half max with full shave and wash etc....Frustrating how when I call to check on him she said he is in the back and says they are so busy and full with dogs...my question is then why did you guys "over book". No one wants their dog waiting forever in the back. They did a terrible job and very annoyed and irritated with this place. Need new management or staff or to be shut down since looking at other reviews they are not good. Going elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend coming here unless you like your dog to wait several hours and have a bad haircut. Not looking good Petsmart. read more

I can't express how ridiculous this place is I took my miniature poodle tiny dog .... and they were charging 83$ for just a shave and bath no teeth brushing no special charges no nail clipping not a darn thing but a bath and shave they shaved him and said oh sorry he has a cut on his foot I can't bathe him and was still going to charge me 68 just for a shave down on a poodle ! So first off let me say my first visit with my dog Coco Girl, was not the best. It was my dogs first time getting groomed, so of course there's some fear. She needs a little extra love. My dog is sweet she loves people and attention. But for some reason she did not like Tara. Tara called me 1 hour into my dog being there telling me she was unable to continue the appointment with my dog because she was being aggressive and tried biting her several times. My dog isn't that type. She's a terrier mix weighs about 15 pounds so she's a small dog. Any who long story short. I came to pick up my dog and I was billed $26 for the bath. So I notified the manager about the situation and let her know how disappointed I was about my dog not getting her haircut. She apologized and scheduled me in with Jasmine. Jasmine was great. She did a awesome job on my sweet girl. I would highly recommend Jasmine. She's kind and patient just what a dog needs to feel safe. So after making a bad experience right, I'm giving 5 stars. I was not charged for the bath the second time and I got a discount for having to go back. Great customer service and I will take my dog back to Jasmine. read more

I had an appointment to have my dog groomed at PetSmart and when I got there, they said he needed a full groom and not just a furminator groom so they couldn't groom him until next Thursday. I drove all the way there from Coarsegold for nothing. I will not be using PetSmart's grooming services anymore. I took my dog down the street to Pet Supplies Plus and got him in with no appointment and they did a full groom and he looks so good. Thank you Otis you are awesome and now have my business. I am very impressed!!! I booked my appointment online for 9am. Got in right at 9 am had no problems checking in.I didn't know what to expect as this was a new experience for me and my dog. Mandy greeted us with a smile and a friendly demeanor. I told her this was my dogs first time being groomed. Mandy took her time and explained the process to me. Yesterday my fiancee had an appt for our dog and was there 5 mins b4 apt time and 15 min after apt time was still waiting to be seen, their excuse, they were helping the lady in front of him create a profile so she could then make an apt. This grooming location is fantabulous! We had a Husky we rescued which needed extensive grooming, bathing and skin care. The grooming manager here took special care of her, catering to her fears of being bathed and taking extreme care in removing every foxtail. When we got her back, she was a different dog! I've gone in several times recently to start up an aquarium and then another time to get parakeets. Both times I had Kayla help me out. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about both! The other day I went in to get some feed for my frogs and I was approached by Nick who quickly helped me find the item I was looking for. Overall a friendly staff! I've also had my dog groomed (can't remember the ladies' names) but they did a wonderful job getting my pup looking & feeling great. Rude lady in the fish department, come to find out she was the manager name Alissa. I bought the fishes there and return them back cuz they had died she was super rude!!
