Worst grooming service by LORI, don't use her or avoid PETSMART at all cost, very expensive and their groomers stink. This isn't the first time my dog has come home looking terrible from their groomers. A trim to the ears in Lori's eyes is up to ear lobe....dork. LORI IS TERRIBLE AND OTHER GROOMERS AT PETSMART AREN'T MUCH BETTER. read more

Very pissed off. Told around 400$ for 4 poodles with a possible extra 15$ each due to weekend appointments were valuable. My trimmers are broken so they were matted. I was charged double for each dog. Charged for a shave down which is all dematting is and then for a haircut in which could not be done when they were all 4 shaved. Each of my babies still have spots they missed as well. I'll never use them again nor will I recommend them. Ripped off my hard earned money for what they call dematting but they didn't.. they just shaved completely down. 740$ later read more

PetSmart - My husband and Luke. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Clarksville, Tennessee

Their grooming center is awful. They first refused any kind of paw service for my dalmatian on the first appointment. Then after just a few days my dogs were still shedding awfully and they were starting to have a smell already. They gave us a second appointment for free to compensate but now my small dog has awful bald spots and irritation. They brushed her too aggressively and it could now lead to infections as there's literal cuts. She is so tender and in pain over this. Her skin shrivels and she flinches over an touch. After the second go my dalmatians ears were so red as if they scrubbed him too hard too. Do not groom your dogs here. read more

I made an appointment for grooming online as it is their preferred method of scheduling as I have done many times. I am at work, so I asked my daughter to take the dog. It is an hour drive for her to get him there. When she arrived, she was notified that the groomer had called off work and the appointment was cancelled. When I looked at my email, they had sent an email less than ONE HOUR before the scheduled appointment cancelling and cheerfully asking me to reschedule as if I have all the time in the world to do this. I am AT WORK so I am not monitoring my email. What a tremendous waste of time and waste of gas money. The appointment was at 12:30 so I doubt the first notice they had of an employee call out was at 11:30 am. They could not reschedule for any time that was convenient for me and my dog will not be groomed before Thanksgiving. read more

Just visited here for dog grooming. Extremely happy with the service. They did everything right and were very friendly. We've always used PetSmart but they have never actually followed through with confirming up to date rabies shot; this place did and I appreciated it. They followed COVID protocols wearing masks and enforcing social distancing. They asked about his behavior, illnesses and allergies. I was very pleased with his wash, cut, nail trim and teeth cleaning. ONLY 'complaint' is they only offer Military discount on Tuesdays. Conditional support is... appreciated but why can I get that support on other days of the week? I will be back, this will be my go to groomer. read more

Stopped in to purchase dog food for my son's GIANT Great Dane while visiting here in Clarksville. I've been to a number of PetSmart stores in my time as a pet owner and this location is on par with most every PetSmart I've visited. + Pleasant staff + Clean store + Good selection of items Good spot to visit it you're in need of pet supplies or bribes (I mean treats). read more

Took my dog in for his usual haircut and was extremely disappointed. Not only does he look AWFUL but didn't even finish the service claimed my puppy was too energetic, didn't even attempt to cut or trim his facial hair or around his eyes or ears. He looks completely butchered and i couldn't be more furious. I've been taking my pets to petsmart for years and i will NOT be back. First picture is how he usually looks very brushed with a blow dry and fluffy. Second and third picture is results from today. Horrible!! read more

Very bad experience at the Grooming. Took my year and a half old Boston Terrier to have her nails trimmed , person was not friendly from the start. Seemed to be afraid of my dog, suggested the if she tried to bite they would not. Be able to finish the job. (My dog has never shown aggression to anyone). They took her into do the nails and five minutes later brought her back out saying they couldn't do it she tried to bite. I feel they need to hire people who know how to treat and deal with dogs as Im sure my dog was just a little fearful of the experience. Needless to say.I will never be back to Petsmart as I will just take her to my vet whose employees have never had a problem with my dog. read more

I can find anything and everything that I ever need for my pets at this store for reasonable pricing and I always experience wonderful customer service. "Wow!" is about all you can say about Sassy Shears and even that doesn't really for it justice. Courtney takes such good care of our Golden Doodle, Remington, that he hears the words "bath and haircut" now and gets excited as he heads for the car. She always listens to what we want and does the best job; and it is obvious to us that she just loves every animal that comes through her doors. We highly recommend her for all animal care and grooming and We are definitely her customer for as long as she will have us. read more

Drove all the way across town 30 minutes for our grooming appointment. Stood in line with 3 other people for OVER 10 minutes waiting for someone to bother even acknowledging there was a line of people waiting. Only then to be told because the immunization papers I received from the vet of the people we bought him from 2 states away did not have an expiration date for his rabies vaccine (our dog is less than a year old, so it's a statistical impossibilty that his rabies shot is expired), they could not groom him. Didn't seem to be a problem for 2 other groomers I've used. Then asked if I wanted to reschedule.... absolutely not. Blessing in disguise, because the doodle that came out as we were leaving looked absolutely butchered, like a 5 year old did it. Take your grooming elsewhere. read more

AWFUL. Me and my husband have an English bulldog and we took him there to be groomed - worst decision EVER. they claimed our boy tried to bite them and if any one has been around an English bulldog or had one you all know they are the biggest sweethearts ever. So they washed him and said we aren't grooming him anymore and then they had the audacity to try to charge my husband the full $30!!!!!!! My husband told them it wasn't going to happen and then they said well you aren't getting it for free and charged him $15. Money isn't the issue, it's how my English Bulldog was treated. I called and asked for management and was on hold for 7 minutes (I'm at work so I can't stay on hold for the rest of the day)and still no one answered. Awful place that will never get another dime from me. It only got 1 star because it wouldn't let me save it without scoring this awful place. read more

This review is for the grooming department. We are pretty new to the state, so it was easy to book with PetSmart since they are in WA too. I booked online, pre-checked in online, and paid online. Easy!! The woman that checked us in and out was very nice and knew what she was doing. Our dogs came home looking good, smelling as nice as two dogs can smell, and happy! We will continue using this wonderful grooming salon. read more

WHAT A SCAM- membership is meaningless. After three years of paying over $100 a month for the membership and barely using it, my dog had an issue that needed attention immediately or at the very least within a few days. First when called , was told I could not get an appointment for 3 wks. After that call i, i called again, was put on hold for 20 min then was hung up on. Then i dropped by as i could not believe they would not honor an appt under the circumstances. After waiting 15min... i was told againt the same. I have no idea what good a memenership is and have wasted years if money for a service that clearly doesnt exist... what a scam. My friend had the same experience... No choice but to quit the membership and go to a reasonable vet. They obviously are too busy and should cut the membership if they can't handle the customers they've had for years. read more

Every dog has particularly place they don't like to be touched but in know way my dog is aggressive towards people at all she never ever once bitten anyone so I took my pup to petsmart for a little spa day cause I wanted to treat her to a spa day. So the groomers start to touch her all over and wants to say if a dog shows aggression she can't touch them. I've been taking my dog to Kathy's pampered paws forever and not once did I ever get a complaint about not being able to groom her. Took my husband's service dog here for grooming and it was a bad day to go here. The front desk assistant gave me a I don't want to work today kind of rude attitude and it only got worst when I did not have my dog shot records in my hand at the time of drop off. The front desk rudely told me that I needed the shot records and I notified the young lady that I had my dog's shot records in the car and I would be right back. I knew right then that I was going to have a bad day at the groomers because the demeanor went to now you just won't be seen. I had my husband drop the dog in with the shot records and he was met with a rude attitude as well. The worst part was when after 20 minutes of dropping off the dog, we received a call to pick up the dog and they refused to groom our dog with the excuse that he was being too nervous and was going to hurt himself.(My dog has been coming here for a year). Be warned if you come here and you are not liked by the people that work here, they will go out of their way to make you have a bad day! I tried talking to the manager and they all stick together and will turn you away! I will never come here again. They are rude, vindictive, mean and do not care about the customers at all! I do not recommend this place, the customer service is terrible! read more

I wouldn't even give one star if that was possible the staff are rude and they wouldn't even take the time to try and meet my dog while grooming . Obviously he is shy and it's going to take a second for a guard dog to be okay with a rude stranger snapping at him. I hadn't even left the store when they told me they wouldn't bathe him because he was barking. HE IS A DOG , CORRECT?? Also- the adoption people that come in told us they wouldn't sell to a military family because we would desert him. And leave him alone or let him wind up in a shelter lol. Sick and pathetic . The dog was a gift to me while he was going to deploy , so I will never be going here again. Go to Petco ! read more

I have not been to Petsmart in over 6 months. My husband decided to book an appointment for our Yorkie for a haircut, nail cut and bath. Right after my husband booked the appointment, Petsmart called to say that they would not see my Yorkie due to him having tear stains on his eyes and said something along the lines of bleeding. First of all, out of all the years that my dog has been seen there, no one has said that his eyes were bleeding and then every time that I brought him there, the services were done on him. Now my Yorkie has not been there in about a year, and they have not seen my dog and my husband scheduled the appointment by phone, so they did not even see my dog in person but refused to see him without physically seeing him. Please do not ever take your dog there because they only groom when they want to groom and they make excuses to not groom the dogs. I have never heard of such a thing. I can see if the dog was brought in person and then he was looked at and then a decision can be made. I will never spend another dime with this organization! read more

I'm looking for an employee who worked there as a cashier almost exactly a year ago. It was easter 4/20 and I was seeking some kind of home for this tiny baby kitten I had found right by the Kmart in that parking lot. I was homeless and traveling at the time and simply could not care for the kitten properly but I was desperate to save its poor little life. I came in sometime in the afternoon trying to see if there was some way to put the kitten up for adoption or if someone wanted to take him home. He was in a small cat carrier. His name was queeblo. Anyways, the employee immediately wanted to take him home to her husband. She was a young woman maybe mid twenties, African American and a bit on the heavier side. She had short hair and glasses and super sweet and kind. I would love if I could get into contact with this woman to thank her and see if everything ended up working out. I had come by the next day and one of her coworkers said she had taken him home and her husband was happy.:) So please if anyone knows her name or any information please contact me! I think about that all the time and always pray everything worked out. read more

I have always been able to find what I need, and there always is alot of people working. Down side is, that there are no trust worthy workers in regards to knowledge of animals. They once tried to sell me a bearded dragon with a 10 gal tank and just a heat lamp. The guy said UVB/UVA wasn't needed as he was too young. Incase you don't know, that statement is entirely false. Moreover a 10gal tank is not in anyway sufficient. read more

Went to this location yesterday, i usually shop at Petco but they were closed unfortunately. I was buying stuff for my new guinea pig. & I got weird vibes from the workers there. I didn't feel welcomed at all. On my way to buy this specific timothy hay, i saw it on the top shelf that i couldn't reach. Seeing that the workers left the step ladder out i figured guests could use them. As i reach to get the hay that they didn't have out on the floor, this employee rudely tells me i'm not allowed to use the step ladder & that the products on the top shelf weren't for sale. I've worked at a pet store before, nothing in the store is unsellable. (unless damaged, infested, or expired) & those are usually throw out or in the back. (Not on the top shelf) I wasted my money here buying an off brand pet smart hay that my poor guinea pig had to eat. The selections here were limited, as well as their food & treats. I hope management knows that employees here are restricting customers from buying from THEIR store. Because that employee that came up to me could have offered to grab the hay for me, but instead tells me they are 'not for sale' . read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! STAY FAR AWAY I took my doodle here to get groomed and the groomer was mean and jerked his grooming lead around and yelled at him. When I was checking out I told the manager that he was cut too short and that the groomer was mean to my dog, and she refunded my grooming cost. Two days later he developed a severe rash that was almost infected and he had a scab from a cut. I called the manager and complained and she said that she would look at the footage to see if he was even injured there. When I was unsatisfied I took him to the store to show them how bad it was. Long story short after being ignored and put off she agreed to have him seen by the vet which PetSmart would pay the bill for. he was treated for ABRASIONS AND LACERATIONS and now has medicine twice a day and a cone for 10 days. The groomer that did this to my puppy is still there and I will never go back there. I will also never stop preaching about how horrible this place is. read more

I spend a lot of money here on outfits and random things for my dog and love the sales but the vet in there is not worth a dang to go to. My dog urinated all over herself while they clipped her claws and she is not even a timid dog. They manhandled her and she wasn't even struggling. I guess it is not petsmarts fault, but the workers at that vet are not very nice with trimming and tidying a dog up. I have gone 4 times to get my dog done and have experienced a bad experience twice now. If it is a man doing it, then he is rough but whenever it is a woman the dog comes back perfect with bows in their hair and smelling great. read more

I will never take my Poodles back to be groomed here at petsmart in clarksville, tn. I've cried all day. Savannah groomed my girl dog and she looks terrible. I understand her ears were matted and there was a small mat on the base of her neck. I gave her permission to cut hear ears and to shave the mat base of her neck, but she literally shaved my f**king poodle completely bald everywhere. My husband said he had a feeling she'd do it because she seemed like she didn't want to groom her in the first place. I told them to shave her like they shave my other poodle keeping the hair on the tail, ears (not possible for myah), and head, but now she is look like a giant rat (still love her though). She had long pieces scattered throughout from where she was too lazy to take her time to get it even. Bailey does a good job but this is the second time she's shaved my other poodles tail without my permission and it's not matted. The first time they shaved his tail half way down for the tip (who does that?), this time it was bald. I am so disappointed. read more

Mixed emotions on this one. The store is nice. It's clean and I have no complaints in that area. The Groomers on the other hand...not so great. They dropped my dog first of all (and he's like my child so that didn't set well me at all)! Secondly one of the groomers tried to tell me that my dog had mites in his ears (which he didn't)...why is a groomer accusing me of not taking care of my dog? And why are they diagnosing my pet anyway? Isn't that the vet's job? Tip here: Don't use the groomers at this place. read more

My husband and I end up here about once every month or two. Their prices on my cats' food is always cheaper than every where else. I love that they accept coupons as well.
