Update to review: I have emailed the owner over 3 times and…read moreshe has not responded. They clearly don't really care about anyone's experience. Never go to this location. My dog was injured at this location and I was never notified. I picked her up and she had a huge hole on her side that was infected. The front desk said she was bit and manager said it was due to play. I brought her to the vet and it was infected and needed stitches but due to Camp Bow Wow (manager Lisa) failing to provide proper care, it was too late. The vet said either a dog dug it's nail in it or more likely was stabbed by a fence not properly secured. Camp Bow Wow failed to provide medical attention to my dog. The manager is extremely rude and gaslights. On the phone she told me she'd pay for my medical expense and review video with me when I went on site. When I went on-site, she said the opposite and acted like I was lying. She changed the story to there is now no footage when she told me she investigated it and part of the process is having footage. She even tried to blame the new front desk girl for her lack of providing proper training. All around terrible experience. I asked her for the owners contact information and she refused to give it to me and she said it's up to the owner to contact me. Lisa is terrible and so is this location. I feel bad for the employees and worry about all pets safety here.

She's finally back adjusted to her NORMAL life with her NORMAL amount of attention. Thank you to Pet Resort In The Gardens for taking such good care of her and sending daily pictures and updates! Also, she had the best bath. Her coat was is soft and shiny and she smells wonderful. She still smells wonderful 3 days later! 10 out of 10 recommend!

We recently boarded our two dogs at Pet Resort in the Gardens, including one who is diabetic…read more Before booking, we specifically confirmed by phone that they were able to properly care for a diabetic dog and felt comfortable trusting them. We provided verbal instructions twice and written instructions stating that our dog needed to be fed at 7 AM and 7 PM so that his insulin could be administered on a consistent schedule. Unfortunately, we learned at pick up that he had been fed at approximately 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM each day instead. Consistency is extremely important for diabetic dogs, and this type of deviation can be dangerous. When we questioned the feeding times, we were told that special schedules are only followed when instructions are provided. After we pointed out that instructions had been given multiple times, they were eventually located in his chart. What's most disappointing is the apparent lack of concern regarding the seriousness of the error. Mistakes can happen, but attention to detail and an appropriate response are critical, especially when caring for animals with medical conditions. Based on our experience, we were left concerned about the level of communication and oversight provided. We'd never bring our dogs back.

We are going into our 4th week this week, and after only 3 classes I am seeing amazing results. Wally is showing more focus, better household manners, obeying extremely well... I have always trained my own dogs with good success, but Wally, being a service dog in training, I wanted professional help from the beginning. Rebecca has made all the difference in the world! The best part is that she doesn't necessarily train our dogs (in group classes), she trains pet parents to train their dogs, and has enlightened me to techniques and animal thought processes that I would have never aquired without her insite. She is full of great information, makes herself available via phone, email and text. Saturday evening I left her a message that I was having an issue with Wally turning a leave-it command into a new game. She returned my call on Sunday morning, and spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me to correct the behavior. With the advice she gave, once again, by the end of the day I was seeing results. What an Obedient Dog, and Rebecca are amazing. They shed light on how dogs think, how to relate/think like a pup, practice positive reinforcement and are always available to help address each pets particular nuances. I can't say enough great things about them. I will definitely be following up with her intermediate classes, CGC classes and testing and then service dog trainings. I highly recommend What an Obedient Dog! They have so far surpassed my expectations.

For the first hour Lauren provided some good information and things to try with Darwin to help him. After that she said she wanted to bring in her dog for Darwin to be around, I stated I wasn't really comfortable with Darwin being around another dog and I didn't think it was the best idea. Lauren assured us that her dog Mable was extremely friendly and did not care about other dogs (Mable is a pitbull mix that is only 1 year old and about 50 pounds)! As Mable was brought in Darwin was barking and growling (his normal), and Mable was ok but then she started growling and getting aggressive. Her hair was standing up and Lauren said she was just correcting Darwin, so we just kept watching which was a mistake. Mable snapped at Darwin's ribs and bit him. We didn't see he was bleeding until she left. The next day our dog was very lethargic and sore, he couldn't jump up on the couch or walk with out crying out. Lauren did send me Mable's medical records at my request and was made aware that Darwin was bleeding. She did not offer a refund for the training. We already knew our dog has issues to fix, that is why we hired her, now he is even more scared of other dogs. The good news is he is healed up, but we will never use this company again. Please make sure to communicate what you want and you know your dog better than anyone else, do not put them in danger.
