    Cool sunken military wrecks.

This PetSmart is in a mall that has a distressing amount of vacancies, but if you need a bright-side--there's plenty of parking. If you don't want to see malls and jobs disappear, shop local! The pet store is well-kept and clean, and the adjacent & connected animal hospital is a bright and cheerful area at the front. The coolest part: on Aug 11, 2019 they had Halloween displays up already. Instant 5 stars. It doesn't stink like a barn, the animal housing was clean, and so was the human bathroom. That's significant because it's evidence of a conscientious team. These are the people you want to take care of pets. The staff was attentive, communicative, and eager to help. There were a lot of employees all over the store to cover any questions. This company is doing the right stuff to compete with online retail: Clean store, plenty of well trained and communicative staff, and a wide variety of food and other supplies. Most of the cats were napping. The two cats that seemed to be in the process of adoption by families were alert, curious, and not hiding from the grabby children. The fish were aloof so they will probably never get adopted. They get no sympathy from me with that attitude. The aquarium furniture was so cool I'd love large versions in every room of my place. Remember the pirate skeleton draped over the moving treasure chest lid? PetSmart doesn't have that. That was from the the 1970s--maybe earlier--so no points were deducted. They had a lot of lizards. There was no evidence of cannibalism, so that's good. Last but not least, I visited the birds. They were active and happy, or sound asleep. There was a pet shop off Clark street that had a bird room I'd visit regularly. I wore a yellow t-shirt and a floppy fishing hat for their benefit and they seemed to appreciate the gesture. They'd hop on my finger for short rides up and down the cage, and bite the brim and chin strap of my hat. Good times. Birds don't belong in cages. Free the birds! And shop in brick and mortar stores. Are you gonna put kids out of work and have malls close so you can save a few bucks on cat litter?

I took my 6lb puppy in for a haircut and bath, he ended up with 5 stitches and no clear answer as to what happened. The took my dog in their car to a vet prior to notifying me. The dog them waited over 5 hours to be seen. No phone call from vet or PetSmart. I had to make all the phone calls to find out any information regarding my pet. Awful place. I will never return.

Pet smart is a good clean place to bring your dog or puppy in person, even through COVID and it's safe.

My Belgian malinois Buzz was very reactive towards other dogs and had snapped at a child's hand…read morebefore we decided additional training was necessary for him. My wife and I chose to train with the Sit Means Sit team in may of 22. Kerry and her teams training program was exactly what Buzz and I needed. Just 7 months later, I can confidently take my dog anywhere and know that he will be focused on me when told. Sit means Sit gives us the opportunities to socialize and reinforce the training with their group classes. Buzz also loves his additional 'change of leadership training' that allows him to get used to day camp with a one on one trainer without me being a distraction. I can now confidently leave him at day camp. Best of all, my 9 year old niece practices training with buzz when she visits. Kerry, Sarah, and the Sit Means Sit team has helped and continues to go out of their way to make Buzz a great dog.

Since they deleted my review on Google, I will post it here…read more.. TRASH! Don't hire this woman, unless you want to pay her to harass and verbally attack your law-abiding neighbors, while torturing your dog with an e-collar. In front of the owners, she purposely let their dog CHARGE at my dog and I, before zapping the dog to stop. Walking on the sidewalk, I saw the off-leash dog and waited for them to go into their house and avoid a confrontation. The woman (I didn't know was a "trainer") and I locked eyes, she knew I was respectfully, waiting to cross. However, I didn't realize she was planning to let the dog BOLT towards my dog. She let the dog run at me, across their lawn. She then proceeded to verbally attack me for being upset about it. THIS IS NOT OKAY. I understand they were on their front lawn. But the dog was not secured and an e-collar is not a leash. And of course, how would an innocent bystander know the dog was going to get shocked and turn around. But I should have known, because before this, I heard a dog crying in agony down the street. Obviously, he's not trained. She's just going to torture your dog and call it "trained." Do not pay this woman. I don't care if you're a trainer or not, you don't let a dog run at anyone!!
