***STAY AWAY*** Both…read moreof my dogs came home from a grooming appointment shaken and anxious -- behavior that is completely out of character for them. Something clearly happened at this facility to make them that distressed. I called multiple times for updates and was never called back. I decided to show up as we live close to this location and the young lady who was monitoring the front desk was scrolling on her personal phone. Unacceptable customer service. When picking up the dogs they clearly did not listen to any sort of grooming instructions I had given. You would imagine they would know how to groom popular dogs breeds at this point but that is NOT the case. To make matters worse, they developed upper respiratory infections shortly after. The only exposure they had was at this facility. That says a lot about the lack of sanitation and care being provided. Between the poor handling, the questionable conditions, and the fact that my dogs are left sick, I cannot recommend this place to anyone who values their pets' well-being. Extremely disappointing and honestly unacceptable.

In fact, They kept my credit card number from the first time I went. I never said they could keep my card on file. It is fraud that they have charged my card without my permission. I have notified my bank and have filed a dispute. Another interesting fact, the first time I was there the groomer said she had to muzzle my dog?? He had been groomed with another groomer multiple times and was never muzzled. Unfortunately, she moved. I took him today for a full groom somewhere else and he was not muzzled. They also operate under smoochie pooch.

I can't ever imagine taking him anywhere else, because the quality and service Amy provides is truly exceptional. Now, to be honest, Bud can be a bit difficult to groom as I suspect he had trauma in his life. He's not aggressive, but wiggly and difficult. Amy is so patient with my little old man and will work tirelessly to do the best job she can. Once when we arrived to pick him up, she was calmly sitting with him in a chair, trying to do gentle little snip snips as he would grumpily allow. His appointment was technically over, but she was still committed to giving him the best haircut possible. That patience and love meant a lot to me. That image sticks with me! The Grooming Station is a one-dog-at-a-time local business, so do you don't have to worry about other dogs barking, especially if yours is anxious.
