My young Siberian Husky attended the training for a week last year. When I picked him up, he literally clung to me during my training. At the end, I was concerned about a few things but not enough to speak up during my training for the e collar use. My boy was behaving but something felt off. Once I got him in the car to go home, I gave him his toy that he supposedly had access to all week. He literally whimpered and cried and held the toy. He curled up in the seat during the trip home. It was unusual. I did receive pics and a message praising his progress everyday. That was a positive. One year later, we do not use the e collar and I've spent a lot of time working with my boy. My advice is to ask a lot of questions. Specifically about the daily routine of training, play and socialization during the stay at their facility. I don't think I'd go this route again with my dog.

But after a quick conversation with Sam who advised me not to, I was convinced to do the work with his help. Sam ALWAYS have solutions to different behaviors, that actually WORK. Then she and Jacob asked a lot of questions and listened intently at the consultation appointment. Gunther had issues with aggressiveness when he was scared or unsure, he was very hyper and spastic, and we could tell he just didn't know how to behave as a dog in a loving home. We opted to send Gunther away with Anya for the 4 weeks border/training program. He came back to us a completely different dog! Gunther learned so much with Anya! He is a super obedient dog and overall has really calmed down. No more jumping on people, no more aggression, no more spastic behavior, no more scarfing his food...he is visibly a much happier dog! He now understands what is expected of him and he really wants to please. We are so thankful for Anya and her team. We have since participated in group walks and Anya is so caring of and concerned with all the dogs. Anya is also a very kind and patient human trainer (the reality is we dog owners often need as much if not more training on how to handle ourselves!)! Chase & Chloe were so gracious and helpful during the booking process. It was easy to book a private play session, I've already booked two more. They were both at the door to welcome us when we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, safe and had plenty to do. There was even a cute sign customized for Winnie and George Bailey! Drawers full of balls, puzzles, frisbees, chew toys, snuggle mats. Treats. Agility equipment. And not crappy temu stuff, regulation agility equipment that is safe to use! There was a coffee bar for humans and lots of books for reference as well. The corgs could have played for much longer, but they were so happy to have some chase and play time. They host play groups, seems like it's done by size. When you book a session, it costs $28 and it is a private session for 30 minutes. I highly recommend this for your dogs socialization, and especially for high energy dogs stuck inside in this cold weather!

We have a 3 yr old Pittie named Cayenne and she has benefited so much from the training we've…read morereceived from Dog Training Elite. She is a friendly, sweet pup, but she is a beast, and when she's excited she's 95 pounds of love that comes at you like a missile! She's now able to find "place" and calm down when people come in, and is so much easier to walk. Training isn't cheap- but it's so worth it! We are going to do some group training soon, and on Sundays you can rent out the entire center so your pup can play and enjoy the equipment. The staff is so wonderful and they just love the dogs.
