Meet Nala. A 11 year old Chow / Golden Retriever mix. Absolute sweetheart. Never barks or growls. Extremely chill and compliant.

Booking # 476081031 Called 30 minutes before my appointment to say the interstate is backed up and I'd be 15 minutes late. I get the standard answer the Petsmart reserves the RIGHT to cancel appointments 15 minutes late. At least let me get there in that window. The manager gets on and says "And we tried to call you at 10:30 to ask you to come in early because we need more time. Oh, and the file shows your dog breed is aggressive and she bites. She tried biting the last time she was here!" I get the policy of 15min. I would have been fine with that. But the LIES about calling at 10:30 (I did not miss a call get a text or voicemail) and what infuriated me was lying about my dog being aggressive. BS! She has NEVER bitten anyone. She does't bark or even growl. She is the most docile canine I've ever met. I will NEVER buy so much as a dog biscuit from Petsmart let alone let them touch my dog. I will not take lies about my dog!

I have used the Pet Hotel as well as the Doggy Day Camp. Very happy with both. I was gone for 10 days and they were just great at pickup time. I called periodically during my trip to check in them and received no issues. Always happy to see me and I did not detect any unusual issues with them. I use the Doggy DayCamp and am completely happy with it also. I highly recommend the Ann Arbor PetSmart Pet Hotel. I'm actually very pleased I can bring my pets to a friendly place with professional people to care for my 2 Yorkies.

I wish the cat section were a bit larger, more costumes, toys, dishes, etc. but I'm not mad at this. My cat loves coming here and I love getting him fun new treats and toys. Before I found out my cat likes going on adventures I would always get his stuff at Meijer, but PetSmart allows cats inside so it's fun letting him pick his toys and have more stimulation than he can get inside my apartment. He loves all of the attention, meeting the adoptable cats, and watching the small animals like birds, rodents, and fish. It's just sad going in each time and seeing the same cat in the big cage, I think his name is Bruce. He got so excited when he saw Dusty and he seemed so nice and welcoming, but my apartment won't allow more cats. If you're looking for a good cat and Bruce is still there, check him out, he seems so sweet.

We rescued a very active (and now throughly spoiled) pup and we have been using PetSmart training (with Jo) and Doggy Day Camp services.

This is a review for dog walking, doggy daycare, and dog boarding…read more I found Peaceable Pets after a very thorough vetting (I am convinced I should have been cast in the movie Best in Show--yes, that is how much of a crazy dog lady I consider myself). Time and again, people on the Ann Arbor Dog Owners Facebook group mentioned Peaceable Pets. I read all the reviews, stalked Peaceable Pet's Facebook page (where Robin posts videos of her guests and informative articles about all things animals), scrutinized the information on her website, did a meet and greet with Marcy, our dog walker, a play date at the Dellwood Doggy Ranch (required for doggy daycare and boarders). I give it 10/10 stars. Peaceable Pets is an Ann Arbor treasure. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about dogs than Robin. Some reasons I love what Robin offers: 1. She understands my dog's unique personality, quirks, and needs. 2. She prioritizes the safety, well-being, and quality of life for my dog. 3. The pick-up and drop-off times worked well with my schedule, which was variable for a while, and then predictable for another while. 4. I trust her 100%. 5. Every time I bring Hagrid to her, he bounds toward her and doesn't even look back to say goodbye. Every dog parent knows that is a good sign. 6. Hagrid is calm and content when he returns from daycare. ...I could go on and on. As for dog walking, Marcy was wonderful and reliable. A few times I bumped into Marcy while I was walking Hagrid and saw his entire body language and vocalization over his joy of seeing Marcy. There is no stronger endorsement than that, in my opinion. To top it all off, Robin and Marcy have really interesting personalities, back stories, and talents when they are not caring for our beloved animals. Marcy speaks French. Robin sings in a band. They are the absolute best.

Your pets are in safe hands if you board with Dr. Karr and Cyd!…read more I boarded our corgi here for the first time ever after my friend (who has also left a review here) raved about Dr. Karr. We have a situation where our dog requires 5 different types of eye medication, three times a day in his eyes. So that means someone has to be able to give him the meds at night around 9 or 10. Until I heard about this place, the only place in town who could do this is Petsmart. No other boarding place has someone working there late at night. Cyd told me this wasn't even an issue and of course they'd be able to give him his meds whenever we said he needed them. So it was a non-issue. Unheard of. I spoke to them on the phone a few times and they reassured me Gryff would be in good hands. First off, they take your dog out six times a day. Without a charge. That's just normal and routine. This is UNHEARD OF, people. You're lucky if your dog can be let out more than twice and they get to be outdoors. Not in a room like at Petsmart. You also have the option to let your dog be taken out in a group of other dogs (so they get some play time) or they can go out with just the people. Since our dog is getting a little older, playing with other dogs is hit or miss. To prevent this, they just spent more time with him and said he was great! I've also been told by people at Petsmart that my dog gets put in "time out" because he'd bark at other dogs. He's a mediator. That's a trait of corgis; big dog in a small dog body. But they took it as him being "aggressive" and he wasn't allowed in the group plays. At Pittsfield Pet Care, Cyd told me he was fine. Sure, they spent more time with him than him with other dogs, but they said he was totally fine. I have to trust two people who know and understand dogs over a kid working in a pet store. Dr. Karr is a licensed vet so if something happens there is someone there who will be able to take care of them. This is extremely reassuring. Given our dog's medical history, and a slight toe injury he was getting over, it was good to know he'd be in good hands should anything happen. Bottom line: board your pet here. They're going to be in compassionate dog people who know, understand and love dogs like their own. Their rate is great too ($30/night) and we only had a pay an additional fee per day because of the amount of medicine he needs. The facility is clean, which is a big thing on my list too. Drop-off and Pick-up was a breeze and these two people are two of the most friendly and wonderful people I have met.

Dr Karr and the staff at Pittsfield Pet Care are wonderful. The Vet care you receive is top notch…read moreand boarding services really superior. He even checks in as a Vet on my 2 dogs while they are boarding to make sure they always have what they need. I can barely hold the dogs back as they run to the door to get inside. I never have to worry about them. I can't give 10 stars since yelp only allows for 5, but they deserve it. The Mello's
