Great dog groomers! Always pleasant. Need to book in advance as they do get busy. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I'll be speaking with the franchise owner, but DO NOT USE GROOMING AT THIS STORE…read more We were late, and we were prepared to be rescheduled. We were "greeted" by a sullen angry woman with sloppy self-presentation who never looked at us, did not say hello, kept putting words into my mouth, and who refused service as I asked that I would come back and receive our full service than the 25 minutes (rather than the hour they had said). Instead, she threw my dog's collar into my hand, dragged my dog six feet and out of their work area. "I'm not doing this." ??????????? When I asked for the manager, she literally hurried through the store to confer with Jodi, their manager. That was a bad sign-- Jodi appeared to believe her side completely. Made it hard to approach him. Jodi was hostile to me from the start. I offered to clean up after my dog when he piddled (he never does that unless he feels threatened), but instead of letting me, he angrily did it, insisting that he was not hostile and that his employee was intelligent, which never was the issue. The issue was poor treatment. The issue was that she wasn't letting me opt for another time. But I never got to tell Jodi the problem. Not only did he also smirk at me-- always rude from a manager, he called me insane and threw me out of the store, not even giving me an opportunity to share my concerns. He said he knew them. He did not. He said he hadn't talked with his employee, when I timed them talking for three minutes as I gathered my dog-- You see, the employee had let him without his collar out of the grooming area as she was running for her manager. He lied about that. i waited for him to ask me somewhere private, but instead he was mocking and judgmental without a shred of interest past the minutes he spent clearing the pee. Note, there was no one else at the store. Crickets. He had plenty of time. He just didn't feel like it. it was easier to prejudge me and just get into the spirit of his employee's hostility. "Store 65l" he yelled at me four times-- "Have a good day!" The store is empty because of this behavior. I won't be patronIzing Pets Supply Plus any more. This was our first grooming -- but I have been a customer since it opened. No more. Jodi is what I call a total asshole with a chip on his shoulder about customers who have trouble with his maladjusted employee. He managed me terribly, dishonestly and openly false and hostile. My dog was treated poorly. I'm so angry about that. And the worker? Not competent, unkind, smirking, and mean-spirited. We are not rich jerks. I'm not a Karen. We had apologized for our lateness and we were willing to reschedule rather than received rushed service. But we were cut off at nearly every sentence by emoyyee and manager from the moment we arrived-- thank heavens I didn't leave my dog in her care. Her peer did apologize to me, Because she saw how rudely we were being treated. Do they groom well? We have no idea. But if your dog isn't safe from the groomer's mood, I would not leave her there. If the manager is not open to the customer experience and instead takes their employee's pov as all he needs: well, he needs to be fired. In fact, he laughed, "yeah, let the owner fire me, see how &$@%# 5" this place is". Good business? I do not think so. Thst is my only regret in my behavior: I left, calling back that he was a poor manager. He was. I womild have preferred to keep my cool all the way through. A horrible experience. Hostile people need to get help, not use tools on animals. Hostile managers need retraining, if they play games with customers. Jodi teased out anything he could read as hostile in my even tone. He interrupted me each time I spoke. He refused a private place to talk. (He had us talk in from of the cashier). He referred to his two social worker daughters as his authority for identifying poor behavior from his employee. He claimed--I did not-- I called the groomer stupid, which never happened. He called me insane. It was insane. He was hostile and a brick wall. The nice cashier (whom I have seen and enjoyed before) tried to be kinder, asked me about my dog, tried to clean up the mess she witnessed. I think she was barrassed, because she saw that I was getting ridiculed. That cannot be comfortable for a good person. Rather than toss out good clients, Store 65 needs to get rid of its jerks. I hope they will read this and contact me for follow-up. I'll be in touch with them, too. Do I want their jobs? No! But if they cannot deal evenly with an adverse circumstance like a customer being late and being WILLING to reschedule, instead acting passive aggressively-- then that's a low bar. They need a chill pill and deep retraining, especially with people with autism. Or they need to be let go. I plan to ask to the sum total of an apology. Again-- avoid this store. I'll pray for their healing, but don't engage there. You won't be respected.

The tubs are always nice and clean, the soap and conditioner make her smell nice and the nozzles get right down to her undercoat without me needing to take extra time just to get her wet. The warm water is always a plus! I usually do all of my own grooming but have been slacking off with the winter weather, so I scheduled her to be groomed by Mariah. I'm very particular about how she's trimmed as I've had groomers take entirely too much coat off before despite me clearly explaining what I wanted, but Mariah listened closely and sent her home looking exactly how I asked. My only complaint is that the dryers at the self-wash station are not very powerful, so they take longer to dry a dog with lots of fur than a high-velocity dryer. I do understand that nothing can be done about that and just recommend that people whose dogs require more time bring something like a happy hoodie to help make the process more comfortable. :)

We had an awful experience with our dog grooming at this WagnWash location, and DO NOT recommend…read morethis place at all. Moreover, the way the situation was handled after left a sore taste in our mouth. We made a full grooming appointment for our dog - an Australian shepherd mix - at this location for afternoon on Monday, November 4. When we went to drop her, the groomer (Dawn) asked the blade size she should use. This is the first time we have been asked that question. It was our second time at Wag n' Wash (we recently moved to a house very close to the location), and we have had our dog groomed at Pet Supplies Plus and Pet Smart before - we have never before been asked that question. The groomers have always asked us for an idea of how short we want to go, and they then take the call on what is appropriate for that breed. We mentioned the same to Dawn (the groomer), and she kept insisting on picking a blade size. After going along with the longer size of her suggestions, we left. When we went to pick her up, we found Dawn has stripped our dog completely (analogous to a the "lion-cut"). We were very upset, and conveyed this to the groomer and to the store manager. They kept insisting that it was the "blade size" we chose, and washed their hands off the matter. They told us they will waive the fee "this time", and that next time there won't be any waiver. I am sorry, but THERE WILL NOT be a next time. We feel helpless upset, and angry at the way this was handled. Especially this being near the end of Fall season, when she would need this for warmth. Moreover, a buzz cut like this so close to the skin can lead to razor burn/cut. Please see pictures of our dog after the haircut at WagnWash, and one after her previous haircut. PS: I know it will all grow back, but it is upsetting when you get such an incorrect haircut, and the store tries to make you think it's your mistake.

COVID RESPONSE UPDATE:…read more Our pup Oliver has been feeling super cooped up over the last few months. Walks can only do so much and he was really restless and getting into some trouble around the house. He really needed some socialization so we decided to take him to BreedAbove for a play date. I called ahead to make sure his vaccines were up to date (it's been a while since he had been) and emailed the updated certificates to get him all set up. The next day we dropped him off and he was SO EXCITED he didn't even look back at me as they took him in. He had the best time and I was so happy to see him tired and satisfied. "He played hard with EVERYONE!" they told me when I picked him up! Pick up and drop off is all curbside and staff is masked. I was so happy to see some of our favorite staff members there after almost a year away, and they were just as excited to see Oliver, remembering him after all this time (they also remembered his sister Poppy, who is not so into playing with other dogs and stayed home with us). The windows are all decorated super cute with lots of positive notes painted on the side. I had to update my payment info since my card expired since last we were here and they came out to take the card and brought it back out to me so I didn't have to go inside at all. I ended up buying another batch of day passes for him and I'm excited to be able to drop him off easily and safely whenever he needs a little excitement.

I took my girl to a groomer my vet recommended. The groomer gave her a bath but nothing else was given. Expensive bath! Needless to say she still needed paw pads done, anal glands, nails cut, etc. since none of this had been done in visit to the other groomer. I should mention she is 10 months old. I questioned Groom and Go when I called to see what services were included and how they handle a puppy new to grooming. I was assured that all the above was included and they make you prove your pets shots are current. I appreciate that since my pet is healthy and I want her to remain that way after my visit. They also assured me that they take great care in making all dogs feel comfortable and new puppy's get special treatment and as much time as needed to groom them. When I picked up SOPHIE she looked beautiful. Trimmed and happy. Everything they promised they delivered. They also told me her ear was itchy so I should watch it. They routinely go over any concerns or issues they discover with the owner. I appreciate that too. They only accept cash or check but I was told that up front. I am extremely happy with the whole experience and the cost was on the very low end especially for the special attention a new puppy requires. I am not rich, I am retired but the tip I left was well deserved. Even though Groom and Go is farther than comfortable for me I will not take my girl anywhere else! Thank you for your care!!!
