You know I'm hesitant these days to take my dog to a new location just because it's been a dicey ride with PetSmart. I've come to find some locations with better service than others. In a pinch for time I had to get my dog her luxury salon package. I felt the pinch on the wallet but I said ah what the heck why not? I mean my dog absolutely deserves the pampering. Groomers rushed through a haircut so they could leave early, left my dog traumatized, and then argued with me about how my dog was being difficult so they needed to charge a special handling fee (even though they somehow finished a bath, haircut, nail grind and teeth brushing in a record 45 minutes?!?) I finally got them to remove the fee (bringing the total for a sloppy haircut to only $75 +tax) but in return I was asked not to come back again and I certainly will not. Very unprofessional, rude staff, AND my dog was returned to me with matted hair and an uneven cut. After more than a week and two calls to corporate, the store manager at Winrock won't even respond to my request for a refund. My advice is to steer clear of this location and go to ANY other PetSmart for a chance that you and your pet will be treated with respect and quality service. read more

Definitely this pet-smart has a bigger selection than other facilities. They had a lot of items on sale for affordable prices and unique items specific to the store that I have not seen at other locations. They also had Guinea pig and hamsters. So much Halloween items to select from. Restrooms are available for customers and need a key. Animals are welcome. Overall the sore is clean and tidy. Great customer service. read more

This specific location was clean & did a mostly good job grooming my Yorkie. I have a larger Yorkie 12lbs (yes purebred, AKC registered) and the lady argued with me saying she was a Silky not a Yorkie & put her in the computer as a Silky. I also gave instructions to the groomer about trimming my dog's ponytail (NOT to cut it while in the pony tail) and they disregarded them & did what I asked not to do. read more

I just took my 6 year old daughter to Pet Smart, and she wanted to get a goldfish and all the fish were dead.

We brought our newly adopted Labrador rescue puppy in today to get a collar and tags as well as snacks. He is a big 9 month old guy and VERY excited to explore his surroundings! The staff was eager to help us find what he wanted and encouraged him to have fun in the store rather than telling him to settle down. They even gave him a treat and helped us find a collar that fit him and use the engraving machine for his tags! Everyone was super helpful and encouraged the socialization. They genuinely cared about Jack and wanted to know his story and how they could help him! He got so many hugs and snuggles! It really was a great experience for him as he is a shy rescue learning to open up to new people and experiences! Thanks for such a great day! read more

There is one in particular lead that likes to pick fights with customers and employees and has a bunch of complaints against him and they still keep him around and whenever a pet trainer leaves they decide that they will badmouth them to clients and customers Just to make them feel better. Great to see a store for our pets in this area of town. I must say the rows are very spacious to walk around with your fur baby especially if you have two 85 pound beasts. it's sad for me to write a negative review and i did call the store first to discuss my issue with a manager today. i ordered thru doordash. the receipt shows this store on Louisiana St. i was sold 2 dead catgrass and catnip plants for $7.99+tax/each. upon receiving the dead plants, i called and addressed it with the manager who claimed they hadn't had any doordash orders and hadn't sold any plants today. so maybe doordash is to blame (doubtful)...i am not understanding how the driver was able to pickup the order when the order shows the Louisiana St address ?!?!?!?!? the manager said i could bring the plants in for a refund but i don't have a car (that's why i used doordash) and it would cost me more in rideshare fees to do that. i am no longer a customer of this establishment - all locations. read more

I love this store, my dog and I come here at least twice a week. It's like a happy hour spot for pooches. The staff are extremely friendly and informative. When one-by-one they reach the promised land, they are met with the spiritless apathy that can only be formed like a callous; one never-ending day of tireless work with no end in sight. "Quit," advise some. "Stay. You have to make rent." say their families. Years of prehistoric business practices seem to have finally caught up with this place. Pro tip for those looking to make it in the high-stakes, fast-paced world of pet smart franchising: you have to sell merchandise. And yet most sales have been suspended due to short staffing. I wonder why? When I look into the deadened, hollow eyes of the last brave men and women standing, it is no question in my mind that management is to blame. I like PetSmart and this is a decent location. Staff seems to enjoy being there and it's always a friendly experience. To get 5-stars I'd like to two things change. (1) there's dog droppings out front and it should regularly be cleaned up. It's unacceptable that their customers let that happen but I think it falls on the store to resolve their customers negligence. (2) some items need to be better organized. $5 chews are in bins with $12 chews and it's deceiving. Not a huge deal... pay attention. But it could certainly improve. I'll wrap this up with a final props to the staff who seem to have a great attitude. Great work! read more

So, I came in to add some new fish to my tank before I upgrade to a bigger tank knowing exactly what I wanted. Renee (manager) came around to help. When I proceeded to tell her which fish I wanted she began lecturing me on why I can't have the fish and how it'll kill my other fish. She never asked me what types of fishes I got or if I was going to get a bigger tank, instead she ignored my first request. I asked for another fish knowing what I'm asking for and again I get denied. She started suggesting fish I had no interest in. Idk if I'm suppose to show proof of my tank to by a fish? I'm a paying customer I knew what I was going in for. When I asked for the name of the employee they told me they weren't allowed to give names of managers on duty. ??? read more

Wow so usually we pay about 40/45 dollars to have our dog groomed. I've been using PetSmart for years after being told I shouldn't but we do. So last time I came here they charged me way over 60 and I was arguing the price cause I've never paid that price. Well anyway it's due for a hair cut so I call and told that I'm blocked from groomer. Wow because I didn't agree that you guys were charging me over 20 wrong. I wish I knew this sooner I wouldn't have been continuing to buy my dog food here. So I guess customers are not allowed to make a complaint. Make sure you get your price in writing before you let them touch your dog they also have her something that made her have gas all night. read more

I have shopped this location ever since adopting my dog in January, and the people who work here are the BEST. Setting aside the "deals" PetSmart offers, which are pretty great, the staff here can't be beat. Always friendly, like they actually ENJOY their jobs, and unbiased. I had some direct questions about the "truth vs lies" pertaining to dog food. Let's face it, the options are nearly endless. The guy I spoke with gave me an unbiased, factual run-down of ingredients and processing when it comes to the pup's dinner-time. Awesome. I was very impressed by the fact he did NOT lead me down the path to the "back wall of fame" where the designer chow is stocked. He was honest. Factual. You don't see much of that in a retailer these days. It's always about the sale and not the customer. He won me over...and my Jack Russell/Whippet mix, too. read more

My absolute favorite training center! Roxanne is fantastic, so patient with my pitbull and so kind hearted! I would reccomend her to absolutely everyone looking for a dog trainer! The staff is always super welcoming and kind when I walk in with my dog and my dog gets so so excited when we get to the store.
