Love Aries! Used a different day camp previously, which was ok but this is definitely on another…read morelevel. Staff are super attentive and nice, know my dogs Luna and Moody, take great care of them, they're always happy to go in, just waltz right in. Also good seeing consistent staff, same faces which was not the case at the previous place we used. It's all indoor, separated by weight which is also one of the best parts of Aries. Currently only open Tuesday through Friday likely due to staffing. Wish they were open more days! They are a little more expensive than the previous place we used, but worth it. Kong meal/snack is extra or included however you wanna look at it. They do have packages to bring the cost down, pay more up front for multiple days. I think comes out to about $27 a day with the package. They do have an extensive weeding out process which is good because it ensures only quality dogs are there, make sure they get along with other dogs, do ok in the kennel for a period of time. They also require vaccinations and tick/flea prevention. Notes I took when considering them v. Others: * Fecal exam giardia, parasites and coccidia within last 6-8 months * Flea and tick treatment, natural essential oils too ok * Intro 15 min then 1 hr later day free, T-F 830-1030 or 130-330 * hours: 7-1115, crate till 1245, back out till 415 then crated until end of day 6 * $1 per meal regardless if bring food or not * All indoor * No vet on call but has set up with vet nearby * No overnight * Grooming $45-55 * Walk in daycare * $30 full day * Buy 9 get 1 free or buy 17 get 3 free non-refundable Hope this helps other neurotic pet parents like me! We love Aries and am glad they exist for our pups! Especially love the staff! Thank you!

Jon (the owner and dog trainer) is FANTASTIC!…read more My husband and I adopted an adult, 4 1/2 year old rescue/stray named Bolt in January 2021. He's a whopping 8lb. and a Chihuahua/poodle/Yorkie terrier/Maltese mix aka a mutt! He had no training at all. He was definitely a mess. Anyways, we desperately needed some dog training, and I searched all over Albuquerque. Jon was the only person I could find that offered a free consult. I really didn't want to pay to meet a trainer. What if it didn't work out? However, He came to our house for the consult, and Bolt LOVES him. Jon does 3-4 private lessons (sit, place, walking on a leash) and then "promotes" them to dog group class. He's really patient, loves to talk about dogs, and helps to trouble shoot weird dog behaviors. We have been in group class for about a month to 6 weeks. Bolt went from being scared of poop bags and not knowing his own name to being able to sit, place, come when called, and is working on down, off, leave it, and leash walking. Group classes are great, everyone is very supportive and friendly, plus Bolt gets to work on tuning out distractions, as they are held at local parks. Overall, I have been SO happy with Jon and Swagger Dog Training. He's amazing and the service he provides is top notch. If you need a dog trainer, PICK JON.

Katie is well behaved, mostly, and is now a big sister. Hoping to get our 25 pd. labradoodle trained by him. If you've ever researched dog trainers you know that that are many that overcharge, don't return phone calls or texts or do what they say they can do. Jon is a star!

This is a gem of a place. I insist all my friends who have dogs go through this training course…read more I've had all my dogs go through Acoma and can credit what I have learned in my class to saving the lives of my dogs time and again. These people KNOW DOGS and can help with difficult cases. Their main focus for the obedience training is safety first, and always. Trish and the gang always do an outstanding job training, and making sure you understand the process. They totally understand dogs and I would say they are Albuquerque's Dog Whisperers. The methods are tried and true and I have seen totally outstanding results from them time and again. The reason for obedience is to teach the owner how to work with the dog and together the owner and dog can learn to have a happy and safe life together. Trish and her ladies will have you and your dog well on their way to a long, happy life. The snake training for life is a superb idea and I will always go back for more. :) VERY HAPPY CAMPER. For those that gave a review citing 'fear and intimidation' system was used, did you go to the same place I did? I can hardly believe that. You need to learn to be fully integrated with your dog, which at some point will include discipline, not to be confused with fear and intimidation. For those that coddle their dogs, that method will hardly do the trick for ensuring a safe and happy life together. This is a very good training place, bar non, BEST IN THE CITY. That's a fact, Jack! :D

Great trainers. The class schedule is a bit limited. Mostly evenings. They also do agility training.read more
