We were in the area and in the need of some pet supplies, so it was my first time visiting or even hearing of this place. I had no idea they had live kittens for adoption and I was SO excited to see them! They were so adorable and very friendly. They all rubbed their heads against their cage door to get some head rubs. They seem very well stocked here for whatever you might need. I was in need of live crickets for a reptile and the two associates were ready and willing to offer assistance, even giving me some detailed guidance for a feeding schedule. No profesional groomers. Be careful taking your love pets here. My Pomeranian ended up in urgent vet hospital and had to receive medical services for two months for a neck injury after I brought him for grooming to this place. The staff is nice and friendly but this place doesn't hire professional groomers.i do not recommend their grooming services. read more

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!!!!! ON May 4th I took my cat to get a regular bath & nail trim and was greeted by nice staff. I was so glad that I finally found a place close to me that I could take my baby to. We just moved to the area and her nails were already long so I said let's give it a chance, bad idea. As soon as they started I could tell they were being way too rough. Just by how they picked her up out of the carrier and placed her on the table. I felt so bad just sitting there,watching the process. They were pulling the back of her neck so hard that her eyes were almost building out. Once I brought her home she was acting completely different and terrified. Only later on when she had settled down cause of some treats and space that I gave her was I able to get close enough to see the full extent of what they did to her. They didn't just traumatize my cat, they butchered her. 2 of her nails were cut extremely short that they started to bleed. She was limping for days and was not her self for a week after. Please spare your loving pet from the mistake I made of coming here. I did get in contact with the manger and was delighted to here back as quick as I did but after confirming the incident I heard nothing back in regards to what further steps could have been taken and will be taken to prevent this from ever happening again.Even if the service was great, $65 for a simple bath and trim wasn't worth it. I recommend Pur Life Cat Resort, much better service and prices and overall experience! read more

I have been a regular customer at this location but this will stop now. After feeling frustrations of their being out of stock on many items causing multiple trips, the last straw was that after telling me 2.5 weeks ago that I was eligible for the loyalty reward for the dog food, they denied this to me today. They do not care about their customers enough to honor their loyalty plan. Just stay away. There are many more options of pet stores in this area. read more

We brought our Bichon in for a bath and haircut on Dec. 24. the groomer looked him over and said that he had some knots that needed to be shaved but that she could even out his coat. After 2 hours the groomer called us and said she was having problems and sent us pictures of him partially shaved and looking terrible. We went back to see him and it was a disaster and that the only solution was to shave him completely. When we told her so she became very upset and refused to finish the job. We asked for the manager who did absolutely nothing and we had to leave. due to the holidays we have to wait 5 days before we could get an appointment with another groomer to haved him shaved. I have never seen a more unprofessional group in my 73 years on earth and strongly urge anyone thinking of using them to reconsider. I give them negative stars. read more

This speaks VOLUMES about the platform of this company both on a local as well as national level! Sarah Hodges was a Godsend! Without her, you have lost your heart! She and every single person within that local agency did EVERYTHING possible to save and advocate for animals so close to euthanization! I will never ever step foot in another Petsense store as long as I live and will do everything in my power to make sure others in the community know how unjust this company is to both its employees and local agencies fighting for the innocent lives of animals that otherwise have no voice or get a choice to live happy, healthy lives with people who want to adopt! This place has great selection of pet needs, that's what the 1 star is for....however, the experience I had yesterday was to say the least... Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I buy everything from dog food, to little water filters for dogs, to bully sticks, to chewys, very rude unprofessional employee that answer to everything was 'I dont know".
