From day one, Roy made us feel completely at ease. He sent daily photos and videos of Dior having the time of his life with his furry friends, which was huge for us since Dior never really got to socialize like that before. Seeing him so happy, relaxed, and genuinely enjoying himself made all the difference. Roy clearly loves what he does and treats the dogs like his own. We couldn't have asked for a better first boarding experience and will 100% be booking again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place where their dog will be truly cared for.

Roy at PawPaw is truly amazing and the only person I trust. I came home to a beautiful, clean and better dog than when I left!! It's like she remembers her early training again-- she sits on command, is quiet on command (now HOW did you do that??!!) and is just perfect!! Holy cow!! Roy sends pictures and videos every day so you know that she is safe and happy. I loved seeing her "tucked in" at night with the other pups. I don't trust anyone else with my dog other than family and Roy. Thank you for taking such great care of my dog. I appreciate it more than you know.

Analyn did a wonderful job caring for our beloved cat Fion while we were gone for two whole weeks…read more We received lots of photos and updates and loved that Fion could walk around and hang out in different places rather than being in a kennel or "cat condo" for two whole weeks. Unfortunately, a cat sitter who drops by the house doesn't work for us because Fion ruins the house if she is left alone. So being able to leave Fion at Analyn's house works out very well for us. We highly recommend iThink Pet to other pet owners!

We had excellent cat sitters for several years (but were moving to a new location where they no longer could serve) so we were very anxious to find the "right fit". The search was over upon meeting Analyn Carino. She was kind, personable and passionate about her business. We also thought it was wonderful this was a family run business where her brother, Jason, would also be working with us. We have found Jason and Analyn's associates to be very attentive to our last minute cat sitting needs and requests. This is one of their greatest strengths, their excellent communication and responsiveness. Daily photos, and daily texts to keep us informed! Wow! When they arrive at our home to watch over Loke, our flame-point short hair Siamese and Mocha, our black medium hair tabby, they work extra hard to ensure we can have peace of mind while we are out of town. From these daily updates, summaries and taking photos of our fur babies to taking in our packages that arrive at our front step as well checking our mail, they are professional, dedicated and easy to work with. We appreciate their concern and gentle treatment of Loke and Mocha, as if they were their own pets, which is one of our top priorities in retaining pet sitting services. We highly recommend Analyn, Jason and the iThinkPets team. If you ever have a question, feel free to reach out to myself through Yelp as we would proudly provide a referral! We welcome questions and happily available to share our own personal positive stories and experiences after working with iThinkPet since 2016. They are wonderful and Loke and Mocha love them like family. Thanks so much Analyn and Jason! We iThinkPet!

My travel happened a lot of times at the last minute, and overall I feel like they did a great job accommodating me and handling the situations which were sometimes chaotic. My dogs are both super high energy, and they always seem to return relaxed from their stays. I like that there are certain activities they do with the dogs and that they video / photograph it daily. I do feel like a live camera would be nice but I understand that can bring more complications. Lastly, their actual place has gotten WAY nicer since I first went there. It looks very clean and organized.

Workindoggz has been a lifesaver for me and my three dogs. Each of my dogs has very different needs…read moreand I feel like this place has been able to support all of them. I originally started coming here for training with Ria when I brought home a new puppy and my other two dogs were not getting along with him. Through her training, all of my dogs have developed the skills they needed. The training is ongoing and I've been able to go at a pace that works for my schedule and budget. I now feel much more in control of my dogs' behavior. All three of my dogs are reactive in different ways and the training has made a huge difference. Ria is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in a way that actually helps me understand what I'm doing and why. She's also very consistent, which I really appreciate. I've worked with other trainers before, but it never felt like an ongoing relationship where I could ask questions or continue learning like I can with Ria. We've done both individual sessions and group reactivity classes and I love that my dogs get to practice being around other dogs in a structured, non-judgmental environment. I've seen real progress in each of them. One has improved with aggressive and overprotective behavior, another has built confidence, and my third has gained obedience skills and improved socialization. I also use their daycare for my youngest dog and he absolutely loves it. He's been going for about six months now. He comes home happy and tired from physical activity and mental enrichment. The facility is great, the staff are caring, and I love getting photo updates. It's also a big plus that they have grooming services on-site. It gives me extra peace of mind that the facilities are all indoors and they work closely with the vet next door in case of an emergency. I'm really grateful to have found a place that supports both my dogs and me!

I'm writing this review to share my deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Yoon at this clinic on…read moreDecember 10th and 11th, following an urgent medical situation with my mini dachshund, Maple -- I believed she had eaten a small hand towel. The day before visiting Gentle Care, Maple was seen at VEG Emergency Vet, where I paid $1,200 for her initial assessment. The ER vet advised that Maple would need one final X-ray the next morning to determine whether surgery was necessary, as she had already vomited and passed pieces of the towel she ingested. Their recommendation was clear, so I brought Maple to Gentle Care on December 10th expecting a simple follow-up and the final imaging. Instead, I encountered inconsistent communication, unclear diagnostic decisions, and fluctuating pricing that made an already stressful situation even harder--especially because I and my family were actively trying to pull together the funds for whatever treatment Maple might need. Accurate, stable estimates were essential so I could understand how to move forward and how my family could help cover the cost of her care. On December 10th, I arrived at 9:30 AM:     *    I was quoted $820 verbally for a full day of diagnostics, including an ultrasound and contrast X-rays.     *    I received no updates until I called at 3:00 PM and was told there was no information yet.     *    When I called again to confirm the cost, the total had increased to $1,100--a $280 increase I did not approve, with no added services beyond the original plan.     *    At pickup, instead of receiving the final X-ray the ER vet recommended, I was told I had to return the next morning before Dr. Yoon could determine whether surgery was necessary. This required me to call out of work at the last minute, which was stressful and disruptive. On December 11th, I returned for the final X-ray (provided at no charge) and paid an additional $360 for blood work and fluids.     *    After reviewing the images, Dr. Yoon presented two possible surgical options--endoscopic removal or direct surgery--but did not provide guidance on which option was best for Maple's condition.     *    I was given a verbal surgery estimate of $4,000.     *    When I asked for a written estimate so I could secure pre-approval from my pet insurance (PetsBest) and request a CareCredit limit increase, the printed estimate suddenly increased to $5,000, without any explanation. * Dr. Yoon also said the surgery could wait another day and that I would have to drive Maple to Danville to the other vets office he works with. The quote I received was from that hospital and not Gentle Care.     *    Dr. Yoon also told me he would only accept my insurance if I could get pre-approval on that estimate, which was not possible. All of this was incredibly difficult to navigate. My family and I were trying everything we could to ensure Maple received the care she needed--we were gathering funds, adjusting schedules, and making decisions in real time. The constant price changes and lack of clear direction made it feel nearly impossible to plan responsibly for her treatment. For context, before even arriving at Gentle Care, I had paid $1,200 at VEG ER. At Gentle Care, I then paid $1,100 on December 10th and another $360 on December 11th. Maple's care was never something I hesitated to pursue; we were simply trying to understand what the actual cost would be so we could pay for it. Given the ER vet's recommendation that Maple only needed a final X-ray--and considering she had already vomited and passed parts of the towel--I now seriously question whether an entire additional day of diagnostics was necessary. Ultimately, I took Maple to Noble Vet, where she received clear recommendations and had her foreign body surgery performed for $3,090.65. My family helped me cover the cost, and the experience there was transparent, supportive, and professional--everything I hoped for from the start. I believe the diagnostics performed at Gentle Care were excessive, delayed Maple's needed surgery, and resulted in inflated and inconsistent charges. I hope the clinic reviews the communication and pricing issues from December 10th and 11th so other pet owners don't face the same confusion during a medical emergency. UPDATE: We unfortunately had to put Maple to sleep on Dec. 14th after she became septic. After speaking with the vet at Noble Vet and VEG in San Ramon I believe the delay in surgery resulted in a more complex and risky surgery. I will be looking for another veterinarian for the remainder of my pets.
