They were interested in cutting my puppy's hair ( yes, she has hair instead of fur) correctly. A first for me in SA! As it was her first grooming experience, I was a little nervous. But they all put me (and her) at ease. She came out looking beautiful! Just a trim, as I had requested! And her nails no longer cause me to bleed! I DEFINITELY will be coming back! I have finally found my groomer in San Antonio! And the treats! Almost forgot about that! I got her two "Peanut Butter Cups." They are peanut butter and yogurt. Two of her favorites! And they gave her a little cup of Vanilla Ice Cream on her way out. I also bought her a "designer" Chewy Vitton food bowl. Too cute!

I am a supporter of the store for months. But today just had me turn it around and say I won't come back here for a while till they refix customer services and the employees. I went in today to grab some food for my dogs as usually because I loved the store I like to purchase a few items. I came in no greeting just laughing employees looking at me as i came in. I usually look at sales before I get my regular food for my dogs. I was in there for about 10 mins or so. Just employees laughing on the ladder while I look around. About 8 mins in I decided I'm ready to pay. The lady went up to the register and automatically gave me a DEATH RUDE stare like she hated me!!! and just automatically scanned. No smile no nothing just rude stare. I told her I am a rewards member and had a coupon if she can look up my number. Rolled her eyes, rude said oooooooooh ok what's your number, still rude stare. Gave her my number and didn't say anything to me but my total. After I purchased she then gives receipt and said thanks I asked can Iget a bag for my items. Oh gawsh she had an attitude for that.i told her I can do it if she doesn't want too... she then grabs the food and puts it In the bag and rolls eyes rude stare. I usually ask for samples but I didn't because she is the one that always tells me we can't give too much samples. Which I know they have a lot, but for her to tell me she can't give customers samples is rude. Didn't want ask cause she look like she wasn't having it with me,Why bother. I honestly felt so attacked for just purchasing my dogs food. I feel that the store has become less helpful and more annoyed employees. I didn't want to come in here to ruin someone. But I love this store, and for me to take back my 5 star is sad. I hope the OWNER sees this, and rethinks about services to new and old customers. Re-train associates or get new employees about customer service and management. The Ruffwear line they sell is one of my favorites and had saved me during 2 immediate needs. 1st was when my pup chewed on the buckle of her harness and she was way smaller than my other pup that I had nothing for her. And 2nd was when I decided to travel with my pups to Portland during rainy weather and my big pup needed a raincoat that really covered his body. The Barkery however is my ultimate favorite. I immediately tried them out when they started selling baked goods and I've never looked elsewhere. They cookies/cookie cakes are AMAZING and have an awesome price attached to it. My pups can never get enough of their cakes. Their Raw treat bar is also the best and my pups eat it up in a jiffy. Love recommending this place to everyone. The owner is the sweetest and really is invested in helping all of her customers. I've ordered things through her before that she didn't have in the store at the time and she is very communicative. They still carry all the amazing brands and products they had at their other location, and even have a little discounted area with some toys and clothes for your pet. I recently visited the store to pick-up a birthday cookie cake for my dog, Frankie. This has become a little bit of a tradition for our family and every year we place an order from The Waggery. Frankie is obsessed with his birthday treat, and is big enough that he can enjoy a little bit of it for the next couple of days. I know I've said this before on my last review, but highly recommend The Waggery! Plus, they have 15% off when you check-in on Yelp (yay!).
