Santa stayed a bit too long! it's easy to get distracted with all the cool things in the shop!

A lovely little shop packed with variety, where you're sure to find the perfect gift for someone or something special for yourself! The shop owner, Jose, is so kind and friendly I can definitely see why he has repeat business! There is a unique diversity of items to fit any price range! I even found a Route 66 baseball for my great nephew to add to his collection! When he was visiting us in Flagstaff, we couldn't even find this on Route 66! He will be thrilled! Support local small business and pay Jose a visit! Located on the bottom floor of the Monier Apartments, between MSA Annex and Mercado San Augustin, Petroglyphs will always be a stop for us when visiting Tucson!

A great selection of children's books

Petroglyphs relocated from the MSA Annex to a larger space on the first floor of the Monier apartment building that is on the same side of the street as Mercado San Agustin. This is a fabulous curio shop, chock full of furniture, art, books, and other items made by local artisans. The space is open, airy, and well-lit. The staff lets you browse in peace, but are happy to answer questions and assist, when needed. We stop in when we're in the area to see what's new, and we've purchased more than one holiday/birthday gift here. It's also one of the stops family members must visit before heading home. They usually find unique, reasonably priced items to take back to their own home and to gift to co-workers. Check it out! You won't be disappointed.

I Love this book store very kid friendly and the book selection is excellent for all ages! It's now my first bookstore choice of visiting when I'm ready for a new exciting read!

One of the coolest stores I've ever been in. Beautiful art/furniture, custom, referbished and repurposed gems. No pressure sales instead I was offered a taste of tequila, yes please. The spot for some one of kind, antique with touch-up from super skilled artist.

This store is super cute and there was a lot of things I hadn't seen before including local art and locally-made gift items. This place is worth a stop!

When they moved we had returned after deciding to get a sofa and chair to replace our sectional. We met with the owner and his stepson and learned that he was retiring. After looking at their furniture selection we decided on a style and proceeded. During our contacts we had been told that the manufacturer was in California and had been doing business with them for many years. The stepson took our order, which including the proper pieces for the chaise sofa, which he couldn't seem to figure out until I pointed them out. We received the furniture several weeks later and used it for less than two years before determining it was of such poor quality that we have to replace it. When the store was contacted we learned the owner had retired and further more that our furniture came from a different manufacturer that they had stopped doing business with near to when our order was placed. The stepson advised that they could do nothing to resolve the issue and I would have to deal with the manufacturer. I pointed out that I didn't do business with the manufacturer but with them based on the reputation of the owner and the quality seen and represented to us. I asked for a full refund on the furniture and received no reply. The furniture has been donated to charity and we are out several thousand$$$ and ended up buying the quality we thought we were getting from Bakers. It was also interesting that according to the paperwork there was a several week delay between receiving payment and the placing of the the order. FYI Also noted that the picture associated with "Preben the owner" in one of the responses to a comment is actually that of the stepson Justin.

While they have a fantastic range of furniture options on the floor, they also have additional options in their tremendous catalog selection. With the help and guidance of their knowledgeable team, we were able to find just what I was looking for at a more than reasonable price point. The lead time from ordering to delivery was relatively short considering it was a custom order and delivery to my locale outside of Tucson was seamless. The overall experience from their professional assistance in choosing which options suited my needs including the finish to match my decor, quality of product received and timelines from ordering to delivery have been nothing short of outstanding. What a pleasure it was to deal with CHF and I look forward to my next purchase. Thank you!

The pricing varies, of course, within each vendor's booth, some more or less than others because each vendor has his/her own interesting collection displayed. I have spent time talking with the vendors and now know some by name. They are happy to meet us too. Forgot to mention .. woman owned. Going on too long here.. it's first on my list of places to go, it's cool inside, there is good parking, and if you have forgotten to do your grocery shopping, Whole Foods is near by. It was soo much fun walking around and seeing all the thrift and vintage items they had. I would come here all the time if I lived close to really spend time looking around at all they have to offer because this place is huge. They even have a downstairs with more items! I didn't even notice the downstairs, but my guy did. I'm soo glad I checked it out because I found a beautiful vintage metal art piece that was perfect in my guest room! I have been looking for a main art piece to hang up for months and couldn't believe my luck!
