A Shell fueling station in the downtown core near Rogers Centre?…read more Yes, believe your eyes! I'm always in a rush and this is a great station to get some petro, snacks, beverages or lotto and then get quickly back on the road again. It's best if you're heading and want to continue southbound on Spadina Ave afterwards. Some pre-planning is necessary so that you can enter/exit this station. Pumps are quickly activated. Customer service is good.

I pay for the carwash pass. the station by me has had the car wash closed for a month and I reached out to ShelL twice! and they gave me a generic email! and when I spoke to someone on the live chat he kept copying and pasting the same thing "thanks for feedback". the wash pass is a RIP OFF! and the customer service is disappointing to say the least! this is how they treat people that pay AHEAD of time for a year now and never used the pass on a daily basis like it entitles you to. I can't even use it once a month and they steal my money anyways! and told me I can go to a different city to use my pass.... disgusting customer service. SO DISSATISFIED AND DISSAPOINTED

This is legit my first gas station review, ever! And I gotta agree with my main man Jim here as…read morethis place has the best prices around in York Region and perhaps the entire Greater Toronto Area. Occasionally you will find prices like Jim said 3-4 cents cheaper than the average BUT if you're lucky, at certain times of the day, you can nab gas for up to and over $0.10 cheaper than anywhere else. I'm not sure how they are able to sustain these prices but if you're coming out of the city and heading north for the weekend on Hwy 400, it's worth your while to get off at Major Mack and head over to this location just at Jane.

I'm writing this review strictly on price point as this station typically has cheaper prices than…read moreneighbouring Esso stations....especially in the evenings. I think it has to do with traffic flow...prices are higher in the morning as the southbound lanes of Jane St are very busy; prices are lower in the evening as traffic flow is reversed (and it is next to impossible to turn into the gas station when travelling north on Jane). During the day, I`ve notices their prices in line with the competition in the area...but in the evenings (after 7ish) prices are typically $.03 - $.04 litre cheaper. Anyways.... Last Thursday I went to grab a coffee at a local Timmies and thought it was time to fill up. The Esso at the corner of Vellore Woods (CityView) and Major Mac was advertising gas for $1.36/litre...I decided to drive over the 400 on Major Mac to check out the prices on the "other side"! To my astonishment...gas at this Esso station was $1.28/litre...a full $.08/litre cheaper ! Major Score ! Especially when filling a SUV ! Now that a new competitor has also moved into the 'hood (a Shell station), I`m expecting the prices to even be better. I obviously need a life as this excites me far too much........

Over the past 16 months or so this Petro…read moreCanada and the ESSO just up the street have been the most steady and reliable big name gas stations in terms of selling bellow the going rate. However the Petro Canada is a much better stop in most respects (lighting, service, store & washrooms). The bathroom is bigger, cleaner and better ventilated than those of many restaurants & coffee shops in the are never mind other gas stations. Also I have never once encountered a grumpy, unprofessional or shiftless attendant at this location which can't be said for many gas stations. There are other stations in the Richmond Hill area which compete with price on & off - the corners of Bayview/MajorMac and Bayview/16th have been "hot" in recent weeks, the Shell at Leslie/16th used to be the cheapest but it's been inconsistent ever since that big overnight 10 cent jump earlier in the year. However it is only at these Yonge & Weldrick pumps that you can always count on the markdown. Why not 5 stars? Like most stations the last 10 years, the Air Pump is not maintained. And just last week during the -11c night the windshield cleaning stations froze solid because they failed to replace the diluted mix with 100% winter fluid. I consider most gas stations worthy of only 2 stars, NONE of them meet my expectations for an industry with a license to print money. But this is place has the fewest peeves and combined with saving $3-$4 per tank on Top Tier gas, it's definitely one of the best.

This Petro-Canada station is either the second or third-closest one from my home. I prefer visiting…read morethis one, as it's easy to get anywhere from the southwest corner of McCowan Road and 14th Avenue. I like that there are plenty of bays, which are wide. The lanes are one-directional. The idea is that traffic flows north, so you need to be facing that way when you pull up next to a pump. This station has a small convenience store. I don't normally buy anything there. I typically pay at the pump and leave. The only time when it gets extremely busy occurs when folks are using the car wash, trying to get salt off their car when it's winter. Other than that, it's easy dropping by, fuelling your car up, and leaving. Gas prices suck these days. This Petro-Canada posts regular gas prices. Regardless, this gas station suits my needs perfectly. (181)
