There's a Petro-Canada that I have frequented a number of times across the street. It felt like a gas war happening at Bayview and 16th avenues. There were plenty of available gas pumps when I was here. I had no problem entering my phone number associated with my PC Optimum card, followed by paying with a credit card. Pumping gas was smooth. This gas station was clean and cheerful for a gloomy, rainy afternoon. This gas station has a car wash. It was doing swift business while it was spitting rain. The cost per liter here is roughly about 5 to 7 cents LESS than the stations I see more often again in both Burlington and Etobicoke and I'm talking Shells so it's apples to apples. This station has 8 pumps but they are sort of at an angle so depending on which side of the pump you need it may be a little more effort maneuvering to the pump given the space and how people are trying to leave. If you want to go north your best bet is to exit at the Jane side and make a right (only choice). If you want to go west your best bet it so exit off the Major Mack side as you can only go north on the Jane and make a right. This station is basically only "safely accessible" if going west on Major Mack or north on Jane since there are all sort of road dividers blocking access in being that it's right at a corner. It's close to the 400 so if you're going to juice up going up north or back down from up north it's a good idea to gas up here and get cheaper gas than in the city. Don't forget they take Airmiles and they have diesel here too.

That being said - this station lowers it's prices in the afternoon by about 4 cents a litre. Pretty freakin' awesome! It also fills up the car quickly, unlike some stations where the gas runs slower when you have people filling up on both sides. This is always my first choice to stop on my way home from work. With gas prices so high, it's worth waiting until the afternoon and waiting in a line up to pay less - especially with how often I need to fill up!

If you are looking for a washroom, keep driving and pass this location. Equipped with car wash and vacuum bays to keep your car squeaky clean. The pricing is on par with all other stations in the area but keep your eyes out as on occasion starting at 8pm they drop their prices to benefit the local residents to save a few $$

A total of 18 pumps are available of which Pump 1 is Full Service but I didn't see an attendant posted there. Onsite is a BMO ATM, ice, hot & cold beverages, firewood, Lotto, snacks, vacuum service, propane tank trade program, some vehicles maintenance fluids like windshield washer, engine oil, etc. and a clean washroom. The lone male staff member wasn't friendly behind the counter. Not a word uttered when I made my lotto purchase request and after I completed the payment. I felt like he hated his job but I'm not a trained psychologist nor a psychiatrist. It was time to get out of Dodge, or at least Markham.

Old neighborhood gas station (took over from a Sunocco) and like other Ultramar locations tends to…read moresell 4 or 5 cents bellow the Toronto going rate. In the store, the focus is on cold drinks, auto accessories and thing like hats & gloves - not much snacks or grocery items compared to bigger Shell or Esso. However they do always have Sesame Snaps in stock - sometimes this is the only place within 5 km of my building where I can find Sesame Snaps at night! They also carry cheap, effective old school auto glass products Rain Vision & NeverFog which a lot of big gas stations don't sell anymore. Washroom is very basic but never nasty and it's always open. Note that at last check, Ultramar is not listed as a Top Tier gas seller. I'm not sure if this is due to not meeting the voluntary Top Tier standard for purity & detergency - though more likely not wanting to pay the costs of participating. Either way, just to be on the safe side I wouldn't suggest using Ultramar on a frequent basis if you have BMW, Audi or VW or any recent car with Direct Inection and/or Turbo technology (( though ironically you WOULD come here to get top-off oil for those cars because they sell synthetic Total in a wide range of grades you wouldn't find at most gas stations...)) Also note this station is built on somewhat of a raised mound, the driveways have a steep angle which can make for rough entry/exit for cars with regular or lower round clearance. If you're not driving a SUV or truck, you should take the entrances slowly & diagonally.

I backroad my commute home from work along Steeles Avenue West and East, and drop by this store for snacks and drinks. Last night, I needed to fill my car up with gas. I also had a digital $2 coupon to use towards a gas fill-up. I dropped by for my snacks and drinks ritual, along with fuelling my car at this Esso station. There were three other customers using the gas pumps at this station. I had no problem finding one. Paying at the pump is straightforward. The challenge can be pre-paying for gas, especially when you have a coupon that you can only present in-store. Some gas pumps state that you must go inside to arrange pre-paying for gas. The ones at this Esso are more lenient. You fuel you car first and then go inside Circle K to pay. I like the convenience and trust. I filled my car's gas tank, and then went inside the store to redeem my gas coupon, along with two other coupons for snacks and a drink. The gas pump had clear instructions. The area was clean. No complaints. I am a regular. The male staffer behind the counter recognized me. It's good having established such a relationship. I redeemed all three coupons ($2 off gas, BOGO on peanuts, and a free Joker drink) on my phone. Scanning everything went well. I then scanned the PC Optimum barcode from my phone, and paid with a credit card. Done! The man wished me a great evening. I reciprocated and headed to my car to continue my commute home. I do like the Circle K here. I can also say that I like this Esso, too. Easy peasy. Super breezy, especially with the recent temperature dip. =) (354)

They have one of the cheapest gas in the city. They have 2 grades of diesel. If a pump cannot print a receipt, it tells you to get it print inside the convenience store.
