Roughly five years ago, we moved to our current location, which is on the opposite side of the airport. It takes me longer to get to a gas station these days, should I need to. I like this location. If you have a rental car and are about to head off to the airport, I recommend filling up at this gas station. It's easier and convenient to fill up and head off than using the other station across the street. This station gets busy in the morning, as it is next to the airport valet parking lot. However, I never have an issue finding a pump to fill up my car. Gas prices are still on the high side these days, but it's not as outrageous as it was a month ago. Don't forget to use your Petro Rewards card to earn points towards various purchases, such as bottled water or a gas discount. (222)

I had thought about whether I wanted to fill up there or here. This Petro-Canada was up the road from TSC (The Shopping Channel or Today's Shopping Choice, depending on what you like), so I decided to check it out. I enjoy driving along Derry Road. I have been doing it for over a decade, thanks to the pockets of restaurants and businesses that I frequent often. Working in Mississauga does have its benefits, even though I have been working from home solidly for nearly a year now. I pass by this Petro-Canada station often. It was nice to stop by. There are roughly eight pumps. I used the one that also had diesel. I normally don't, but it was good that I wasn't potentially surrounded by two customers because it was pump 1. I like when a pump has paper towel. I use it to grip the gas pump these days. I then use the kickstand to have gas automatically pumped into my gas tank. It's also great when I've dirtied my hands somehow. I paid at the pump. At first, the reader didn't recognize my Petro Points card. I did it again and it worked fine. I also used my 407 ETR rewards to get a discount and eventually paid with a credit card. The convenience store was fairly busy with customers coming and going. More people tend to visit convenience stores during this pandemic to get essentials, such as milk and eggs, quickly, rather than hitting a grocery store. It makes sense. Eat and get gas, as the saying goes. It's a clean and nicely maintained gas station. There are four entrance-exit points. Nice! There is a touchless car wash that faces Derry Road. There wasn't a huge lineup when I was there. One car was waiting. I was pleased. The one closest to my home is always busy with a long lineup. My experience here was great. I'll need to drop by the convenience store and check it out sometime. (64)
