It has a side vacuum area and I would say roughly 5 to 6 bays with cars that can fit one in front of the other so 2 cars per bay. The car wash spray is strong so if you are petite or dont have great upper body strength you may need to use two hands and expect a bit of a kick. Its not easy but with an SUV you can do soap, wash and wax within the given time of about 3 minutes for $4.00 last time I checked. Havent had an issue with the machines anytime I went to this place over the last few years so I would say this place is reliable. Self serve car washes are great for hitting certain parts of your car to ensure its clean like the under carriage to remove road salt or the front to get rid of those bugs from your summer road trips.

It is conveniently located off of Kennedy Road and Unionville Gate. The station has undergone renovations over the years. The current iteration of the Shell Select convenience store sells Freshii products (which was definitely not available when I first started coming here). It's nice to know that one can purchase some healthier food options aside from the typical chips, candy, chocolates, and soft drinks that are normally found at gas stations. This Shell has 4 vacuum stations and a spacious self serve car wash.

The facility also has a new automatic touch-free car wash (which accepts chip cards) which ranges from $11 to $17. Usually I do a basic pre rinse, then use the triple foam brush. I take my time and continue to brush the car down even after it has timed out. Once you think it is pretty much clean, you can add $2 which will be more than sufficient to rinse your car down. So for $5, your car is good. Tip: just remember to bring your rags to dry off your car when you're done! The settings for the coin machine include rainX which is a low pressure spray. The facility is well maintained and kept clean. I recommend this place!!

So I came here because Jet Kleen on O'Connor Dr raised their minimum to $4. Haven't been to this wash in many years due to memories of poor upkeep and control systems which sometimes ate coins without giving credit. At first glance I'm encouraged. Plenty of available bays at night, they have re-paved the big cracks & potholes from before and replaced the old brushes which were aging badly. As I prepare to start I notice a feather on my sleeve, then another floating next to me. I look up and see all the crossmembers packed with pigeons!! 3 seconds later one of them drops a package on the hood! I scramble into the car before anything hits me and bail out. Checking the other bays, they all had some degree of pigeon infestation. Oh well, off to car wash at Victoria Park & Ivordale. In all seriousness, the birds aren't the real reason this car wash rates bellow OK. It's the fact they don't have any machines for getting change, tokens or paying by Tap. They also removed all but one trash bin (to save work) which is totally inadequate for 6 bay car wash. Just not good enough considering there are two other coin car washes reasonably close by.

At Kennedy and Highway 7, you have two Petro-Canada stations diagonally opposed. I know that Petro-Canada bought out all Sunoco stations years ago. I don't recall Kennedy and Highway 7 ever having a Sunoco. Out of the two gas stations, I frequent this one less. It is situated on the northeast corner of the intersection. Normally, I am travelling eastbound and stop by the other one. It's also easier for me to get home with the other one. I decided to give this neglected station a visit the other day. Gas was at 127.9. I had half a tank full. I decided to top it up. If you are looking for a fancy convenience store, car wash, and A&W's, you want the other Petro-Canada. The best part about this station is that you have what you need (gas and a small convenience store). It wasn't all that busy when I dropped by after work. I filled up and left. No muss. No fuss. Since we have the Petro Canada app, it's a quick and simple process to input the numbers on the screen for the carwash into the app. Depending on the type of car wash you get, it takes a couple of minutes. Touchless car washes don't provide your car with a complete cleaning like hand washing would, but it's good enough. I do wish that the drying portion of the carwash was a bit longer, though.
