Another petrol station that is usually less than average price…read more I found this place on my way to Monarch Park one day and their regular price was 116.9 while all the other petrol stations I drove by was at 123.9 This station is super small though, and with its prime location at the southeast corner of Danforth and Greenwood, traffic comes from both streets and it can get a little bit crazy like it was for me when I stopped by. If you're in the area and you see this station is cheap, you just need to get in!

I took the one on the far left, The gas price was cheaper than what I saw in Markham by two cents. It seemed appealing to take advantage of this cheaper price here. This gas station was clean. I managed to get rid of an empty drink cup by using the garbage receptacle nearby. I had no problem paying at the pump. I inserted my Petro Points card, followed by my 407 ETR savings card, and then my credit card. I then had the gas pumping hands-free while I used a squeegee on my car's back windshield. I didn't go into the Neighbours convenience store. I saw many folks going in, including a TTC bus driver. He had parked his bus on Bathurst Street, right behind where I was. I thought, at first, that he was a staffer at the store. The man inside Neighbours and the TTC driver were both wearing red polo shirts. The Neighbours staffer looked out the window often. It was a bit creepy after a while. Either he was bored out of his mind or was tracking everyone. It's a good gas station to fill up your car's gas tank. My back windshield looks clean! I had no problems leaving the gas station afterwards to resume my northbound trip up Bathurst. (318)

I visit the Circle K store that comprises this Esso station regularly. I'm probably there once a…read moreweek. I backroad my commute home from work along Steeles Avenue West and East, and drop by this store for snacks and drinks. Last night, I needed to fill my car up with gas. I also had a digital $2 coupon to use towards a gas fill-up. I dropped by for my snacks and drinks ritual, along with fuelling my car at this Esso station. There were three other customers using the gas pumps at this station. I had no problem finding one. Paying at the pump is straightforward. The challenge can be pre-paying for gas, especially when you have a coupon that you can only present in-store. Some gas pumps state that you must go inside to arrange pre-paying for gas. The ones at this Esso are more lenient. You fuel you car first and then go inside Circle K to pay. I like the convenience and trust. I filled my car's gas tank, and then went inside the store to redeem my gas coupon, along with two other coupons for snacks and a drink. The gas pump had clear instructions. The area was clean. No complaints. I am a regular. The male staffer behind the counter recognized me. It's good having established such a relationship. I redeemed all three coupons ($2 off gas, BOGO on peanuts, and a free Joker drink) on my phone. Scanning everything went well. I then scanned the PC Optimum barcode from my phone, and paid with a credit card. Done! The man wished me a great evening. I reciprocated and headed to my car to continue my commute home. I do like the Circle K here. I can also say that I like this Esso, too. Easy peasy. Super breezy, especially with the recent temperature dip. =) (354)

Well, the time is now! This Petro-Canada is located on the southeast corner of Victoria Park Avenue and Gordon Baker Road. It has a small convenience store with a mechanics place across from the pumps. I have never been inside the convenience store. I tend to pay for fuel at the gas pump. My visit last month extended this streak. I had no problem using my Petro Points card, my 407 ETR gas discount card, and my credit card to pay for my gas fill-up. This gas station is always clean at the pump. All was great. There weren't a lot of folks there. I was one of two customers on a Saturday afternoon. I loved it. It was great returning here. It's a decent gas station. I'll return when I'm back in the area and need to refuel. (385)

It is located adjacent to a Cooper Tires, as well as Sterling Auto center. The store is tiny compared to many other Petro Canada stations, where only a couple of people can be in the store at a given time due to space limitations. They offer a limited selection of drink and snack options. Lotto is available for sale. While this Petro Canada tends to be less busy than the nearby gas stations, it is only open from 7AM until 11 PM.

On the southeast corner of Major Mac and Donald Cousens Parkway is this Pioneer gas station. A tidbit of information: Donald Cousens was the former Mayor of Markham. He held that position from 1994 till 2006. My parents liked him. I did, too, although I caught the beginning and end of his mayoral tenure. Naming this parkway after him was a nice touch. The gas price was cheaper than the posted price at a nearby Esso station by four cents a litre. I frequent the Circle K there. I immediately made a left turn to fill my car's gas tank here. There were a few customers pumping gas. I found an available gas pump. The problem was that I couldn't pay for gas at the pump. It was the case with all pumps that day. Luckily, the option to pay inside the store was available, so I did just that. I was at pump 8. When I was done, I walked into the convenience store. It's huge. It was nice to browse a bit before paying. There's a mini Country Style area. You can get coffee, slushies, hot chocolate, and more. There was a sign that said donuts, but I didn't see any in the display case. I love crullers from Country Style. Sadly, I didn't see any in the display case. I got a helpful man at the payment area. I said that I had gas to pay for at pump 8. I got my Journie barcode scanned for the first time. Husky got bought out by Journie at least a year ago, so I got my Husky rewards transferred over to Journie. I then paid with a credit card. Done! I thanked the man after he gave me my receipt. I headed to my car and continued my drive home. If you want cheap gas in the northeastern part of Markham, come here. It was an unexpected, pleasant find. New gas stations with new pumps and love their paypass options right at the pumps. A quick tap 1 second later, I am ready to put in my gas. It was cold yesterday! They have two self ordering kiosk available. I haven't had KFC in a while and it was Tuesday so I decided to drop by and grab their special 2 pieces of chicken with small fries for $4.49. I remember back then they offered it for $2 called 'toonie Tuesdays'. I certainly miss this price! The chicken and fries was great, very tasty.

My fuel light lit up on my car's dashboard. I remembered this gas station and drove over. This station has a number of pumps. The downside is that many were unavailable when I was there. I pulled next to one, got out of my car, and there was a faint message on the screen that said it was out of service. So, I had to climb back into my car and find another free one. Luckily, I found one. There was a guy fuelling his car using the pump on the other side. He came over and was looking at the one that I wanted to use. Hey, buddy! I'm trying to back into this spot, but you're blocking my way. I could back into you and cause bodily harm, but I don't want your body to put a permanent dent in my car. He finally moved after a good minute. Sheesh! Gas is a bit cheaper here compared to the rest of the GTA. I used my 407 ETR rewards to get a discount per litre on gas. I paid at the pump and left. The carwash is awesome. Touch-less and except for the back of the van gets the cars clean. I try to use this feature every time I fill up in the winter. There can be huge lines so timing can be important. I never eat or drink at these places. so I cant speak to that. But if you need some chips or a hot coffee this place has got that for you. Lastly, I like the EasyPay system. no fuss no muss. Shell's system works really well, including things like the car wash. Just don't loose the FOB. Now... should we start a complaint around this ethanol as additive? 10% added? this is a sham. At least shell tells you the percentage of each grade of fuel.
