From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. Brandon is incredibly personable, professional, and easy to work with. He took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. You can tell right away that he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. The craftsmanship speaks for itself. The hardwood floors came out absolutely beautiful, with clean lines, consistent finish, and great attention to detail. The baseboards were installed perfectly and completely transformed the space -- crisp, clean, and polished. Everything looks fresh, modern, and professionally done. On top of that, the pricing was very fair and transparent. No surprises, no pressure -- just honest work at a great value.

I've never seen any people work so quickly and efficiently. They were very proper and started at 8 AM and took their breaks at the appropriate times. They were done by 5 PM. My project took a lot longer than expected however, they stayed with me till the end, I think they even could've done the landscaping if I had asked, they can do everything from electrical to plumbing and fine finishes. I will absolutely use them on my next project. The other thing that is so fabulous about them is that they don't need to have a large project to start. On my other house they did a one-day project quickly and efficiently so I will use them for anything having to do with the house. They were just a dream to work with.

It's something of a rarity to find a craftsperson who genuinely takes pride in his work - and holds…read morethat work and himself to a higher standard: Bill Richards is such a craftsperson. We had several hundred sq feet of hardwood to refinish in our home in Carmel, covering a few rooms, stairs, and a hallway, some of which, unbeknownst to us, had experienced water damage. We spoke with, and solicited quotes from, no less than 6 contractors in the area, among which Bill Richards Hardwood Floors. He was generous with his time, insight, and recommendations, both while on-site and via phone and email - and we considered his quote, which was competitive. Our only hesitation at the outset was that he was booked several weeks out. (In retrospect, however, that should have been a positive indicator!) Based on the substantial time that he invested in responding to our questions, the many change orders / changes to quote that we requested as we modified what we wanted, and that, of all the contractors we met with, he appeared to be the most genuine and transparent, we opted to go with him. And - we could not be more content with that decision or the job that he performed! Among other aspects, he uncovered and repaired boards that had been damaged by water, seamlessly weaving new boards into the existing, noted and repaired broken flooring, well outside of the scope of work ("Because it's the right thing to do."), consulted as we considered the best stain for the wood, proposed an inlay to the step for both aesthetics and strength, and left us with tips and tricks for hardwood maintenance and repair moving-forward. What's more: he carved out some time during our job to pop by an adjacent family member's home to do some rapid repair work, as well! He's truly cut from a different cloth - and his consultative approach, quality of work, and commitment to doing "the right thing, the right way" exemplify this.

We had an extremely heavy refrigerator that needed to be moved, and he handled it without a problem and installed our new refrigerator for us. During the installation, he needed to make an unexpected trip to the store for an additional part, which took more time than anticipated. He only charged us for the cost of the item and didn't add anything for the extra time. I really appreciated how fair and honest he was. His price was fantastic, especially for the amount of work involved. Omar was reliable, professional, and came through for us on very short notice. I would absolutely recommend him and will definitely call him again!

We had him tackle a significant makeover and paint job on our 122 year old cottage. Omar's bid was a good 20% higher than #2. We chose him because of how clearly he talked the details, from paint chemistry for a salt air climate to the right way to replace those old cedar shingles. He also had a new kitchen window created from scratch to match the ones in the rest of the old house. Over the 3 - 4 week project, Omar and his crew invariably left the place immaculate, no clutter, no mess. The answer to nearly ever request was "Yes, we can do that." While they are not cheap, the tab for all of the extras we asked for was fair. And we have no doubt that the work will hold up very well. When you think about how valuable your home is, why would you not hire the best in the business to fix whatever is wrong with it? The property will appreciate, and pay you back 10X over.
