Another company we were talking to straight out refused to give us two different quotes. Second, the whole crew was really professional and didn't drag out the timeline for the project. They worked really hard and also were polite and made sure we were satisfied with the result. Once we picked out a tile option and were ready for the installation, that process took just about 1 week. My family is really happy with the way the kitchen turned out and we'd definitely reach out to them again if we have any other flooring needs.

Floor Coverings International Monterey Bay…read more Bernardo and his crew did an outstanding job on my Dad's mobile home in Capitola. They had to remove carpeting that had been installed in 1992. The padding pretty much disintegrated and they had to remove about a 1000 staples. The carpeting was removed in 3 rooms, the large living area, the master bedroom, and a spare bedroom. What was amazing is they finished the job in 2 days ! They then moved all the heavy furniture back in each room. What we can't figure out is how they got those 2 twin sofa sleepers through the door. In any case, if you have any need to install laminate flooring ( we went with LVP with is a higher quality with a moisture barrier ) or any flooring, I would highly recommend Floorings International of Montery. Gene Perrier Local Guide·13 reviews·4 photos 2 hours ago New Bernardo and his helper did an amazing job. This was my Dad's mobile home in Capitola, near the ocean. The carpeting was old and smelly, and stained and needed to be removed. There probably was over thousand staples from the padding that had to be removed. Bernardo and his team got the carpet removed and the new floors installed in only 2 days ! Now granted we left the existing floor in the dining room but they had to remove the main living area, a large bedroom, and a smaller bedroom. While my daughter and son in law got all the furniture moved off the floors, they did return and moved the heavy stuff back into each room as directed. They somehow also got 2 twin sofa sleepers inside the living area as directed. They arrived earlier than expected so we gave them the combo to the lock box . When they were done, they locked both doors and put the key back in the lock box. We went with an LVP flooring since that particular brand is moisture proof since we live by the ocean. I would highly recommend Floorings International of Monterey for any flooring installation. See photos below Photo 1 of 3 Photo 2 of 3 Photo 3 of 3

From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. Brandon is incredibly personable, professional, and easy to work with. He took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. You can tell right away that he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. The craftsmanship speaks for itself. The hardwood floors came out absolutely beautiful, with clean lines, consistent finish, and great attention to detail. The baseboards were installed perfectly and completely transformed the space -- crisp, clean, and polished. Everything looks fresh, modern, and professionally done. On top of that, the pricing was very fair and transparent. No surprises, no pressure -- just honest work at a great value.

I've never seen any people work so quickly and efficiently. They were very proper and started at 8 AM and took their breaks at the appropriate times. They were done by 5 PM. I will absolutely use them on my next project. The other thing that is so fabulous about them is that they don't need to have a large project to start. On my other house they did a one-day project quickly and efficiently so I will use them for anything having to do with the house. They were just a dream to work with.
