I have been a client of Jennifer's for about 6 years now. She is a great pet sitter and you can tell she has a big heart for animals! I have entrusted care of three cats with Jennifer now (one cat has sadly passed but the other two are still young). She usually texts you pictures of your pet(s) when she goes over to take care of them. These pictures give us a lot of reassurance that our pets are in good care. My previous cat needed IV fluid injections and pills so Jennifer was able to do that as well if your pet needs medication. Jennifer will also retrieve mail, water plants etc if you need that. Jennifer is very busy (often going from client to client), so usually it's better to text her rather than call her if you need to get ahold of her! read more

After seeing the rave reviews on Yelp, we asked Jennifer to petsit oir two cats. Wow...totally responsible and caring...she spent an hour at the outset just chatting about our cats and getting instructions (including changing the litter, checking mail, turning lights on and off, taking garbage out to the curb and back, etc), and then executed flawlessly. She also called us when we were on vacation when she noticed some ants, and painstakingly cleaned and swept the floors, put down chemicals and kept the place spotless. Very responsible...she called us the day after we returned to make sure we got home ok. Very affordable rates as well. Definitely recommend! read more

Unfortunately I had to update my past 5 star review as I have moved on to another pet sitter. I'm not sure what happened but communication became very difficult. I barely got any updates and I couldn't even tell if anyone had come by. When I returned from vacation my cats bowls and water fountain were empty and I was pretty displeased as to how the service had changed. read more

I first hired Jennifer during a difficult time for my family: a close family member of mine was in critical condition and my family and I needed to leave town. To make matters more stressful, our older cat was beginning to show signs of kidney disease. Jennifer took responsibility for treatment of the older cat per our vet's orders while we were away. In addition, she was sensitive to his condition and communicated that to the vet when she took him in for a checkup during our absence. My girlfriend and I have been using Jennifer and her crew for a few months now, they are nothing short of lovely, professional, and amazing folks who know how to deal with a high maintenance dog. Recently, our dog Bazzle became extremely ill while we were on the other side of the planet and unable to return to the area. Jennifer (and Evelyn!) went above and beyond the call of duty for Bazzle, and us. They handled so much of the logistics involved in getting our lil guy to and from the various hospitals, acted as his advocates in our place, kept us updated every day - sometimes multiple times throughout the day - and made sure he was taken care of and as comfortable as possible until we could get back and take over. Thanks to their efforts, and all the amazing hospitals in the area, Bazzle is making a full recovery. He would undoubtedly not be here now, if it weren't for what they did for him. We trust Jennifer and her people to take care of everything while we leave, even in an emergency/last minute, which has happened. They are thorough and reliable. I know there was a period when Jennifer was not communicating, that probably explains the negative review, as she had an accident. Now, there is an admin assistant who takes care of the logistics and the dog sitters/walkers do all the rest. Jennifer has taken care of our kitten (now a cat, I suppose!) Declan, several times in the last year. She watches over our place when we go away for work or vacation, visiting every day to play with Declan, feed him, and take care of the rest. She even watered our plants and brought in the mail! I think anyone would find Jennifer to be very professional, very friendly, and excellent with animals. Our cat is very shy, and does not make friends easily. He's not mean, he's just a bit of nervous guy -- but Jennifer had a way with him, and I could definitely see the last time that she visited, that he liked her. I'm so happy about that. I hate leaving him alone. He needs lots of playtime and cuddles, and Jennifer is a good pal for cats. She also has a lot of experience and certification (see her website). This makes me comfortable, in case Declan has some kind of emergency when we're away. I know we can trust Jennifer to do whatever he needs. My favorite feature of her service? She texts pictures of Declan to us every few days, to let us know how he's doing. It's very comforting to see that he's getting some cuddles and playtime, when we're away! We have used Jennifer's services for many years and have been happy. Up until recently our main complaint would be that it takes a long time before she submits a bill... so it can be confusing about what is owed and when. We do our best to keep track. Otherwise her service was just fine and we trusted her to come to our home. We even started having her come in and walk our dog when we couldn't get home at times. My wife arranged for Jennifer to come watch our cats when we were out of town in June. During the trip my wife checked in with her but did not receive a response. It is not clear she came to the house on the agreed to days while we were away. We have tried to reach her via text, email and phone. No response. It has been almost two months with no contact. The 3 stars is not a recommendation, I couldn't bring myself to give less due to her past performance and allowing for the fact that there could be some extenuating circumstance that would explain her lack of communication. We are sorry and puzzled that she has decided to end our long business relationship this way. Of course, her lack of communication presents a security issue: We had to get a locksmith to re-key our locks since we do not know her status. This cost us money that we should have had to spend. read more

I'm so glad to have found such a great petsitter! Jennifer came highly recommended by my coworkers and she lives up to the hype. Her prices are the lowest I've found and she's very easy to work with. Her cat sitting visits include feeding, changing water and litter, and playing with your cat(s). She'll also bring in mail and packages, take trash cans to the curb, etc if you want. When you're gone, she'll text you pictures of your pet so you know they're doing just fine. My cat loves Jennifer and doesn't seem to mind when I'm gone. read more

I was recommended to use Jennifer's service by my friend. I can' find enough words of happiness and accolades about Jennifer. I was away for about 7 days and had a complete piece of mind because of Jennifer. My dog, Arthur is small, but very spoiled, with some minor digestive issues. Jennifer went far and beyond-she picked up and dropped Arthur at our house; she took notes of every Arthur's quirks and did everything to make Arthur feel happy and at ease. When Jennifer brought Arthur-he looked great and didn't seem to be missing me that I am very happy about. Jennifer did an excellent job taking care of 4 dogs, one of which was a 4.5 month old puppy on a last minute request. My usual petsitter wasn't able to watch them but referred me to Jennifer instead. Within a few minutes of talking with her via phone you can tell that she really understands animals and is accommodating the dog's special needs ie medicines with their foods.. She took care of them quite well and was able to balance the needs of the puppy with the other 3 dogs that she was responsible for. The dogs really liked her and she was very good at playing with them during her visits as well. I felt very comfortable leaving my pups in her charge and it enabled me to enjoy my weekend getaway. Jennifer has been everything we looked for in a pet-sitter, and much more. If you're looking for someone to keep an eye on your dogs or cats while you're away, give her a call. From the first we met Jennifer, we knew she was going to be a great dog-sitter. Our two dogs loved her right away. They're big and energetic, one is around 90 lbs, and the other is maybe 55, and she has no problem handling them and walking them both even at the same time. Her communication is great. Jennifer sends text messages and pictures while you're away so you can rest assured your pets are in good, capable hands. And I don't know how she gets the dogs to sit so nicely for the pictures. I can NEVER get them to do that! Oh, and she'll take care of your cats too! Extra bonus! Ultimately, having her come two or three times a day ends up being far cheaper than boarding our dogs. And the dogs are happier, less stressed, and healthier because of it. I can't recommend Jennifer enough! read more

Jennifer is awesome with kitties! Jennifer delivers great pet sitting service. Everything is tidy and clean when my husband and I arrived home after one week trip. Both our kitties are in shape and full of energy. Jennifer is flexible with time schedule when she arranges appointments to meet up, which is very convenient. Jennifer definitely knows and loves kitties! When first time we met at my apartment, she patiently approached my kitties and both of my kitties went to her to let her pet. This is unusual considering both of my kitties are shy with new faces. Jennifer is the BEST!!! My husband and I have hired her on two separate occasions so far to take care of our two cats, one of which is diabetic and needs insulin and glucose checks TWICE A DAY! ...and let me tell you, he's not always nice about it. It is very apparent in the way she interacts with my cats that she is a cat person and can read their signals however minute they may be. Her instincts are so amazing that I can be at ease while I'm away knowing she is taking care of my babies. With my diabetic kitty it takes a few days for Jennifer to be able to take his glucoses regularly because he gets so agitated and growls and hisses but after that they get into a routine and everything goes smoothly meaning no growling, hissing or swatting. I attribute that to Jennifer's unwavering patience and attention to his signals. I trust her instincts more than I trust my own sometimes when it comes to him while I'm away! The most recent time we were away, my diabetic cat had very low glucoses on a couple of occasions and when that happened, Jennifer went the extra mile and even checked on him in the middle of the day! She is always in touch and texts/calls me with his glucose numbers morning and night and even found a bill I forgot to mail on the counter (the cats were knocking it around) and asked me if I wanted it to be sent! She even waters my vegetable garden for me and gets the mail. She does it all! Jennifer takes care of our kitties like they are her own, and although they miss us while we're away, when we get back they are content and happy. Jennifer has cared for our dogs overnight for several years, sometimes for 2 wks at a time out of the country. They love her and so do we. She is very experienced, responsible and committed to what she does. She's attuned to the health of our dogs and even called us while we were on a weekend trip to let us know our littlest dog was sick--we came home right away and in fact, he needed vet care. If we hadn't been nearby, we would have definitely trusted Jen to take him to the vet and supervise care til we got home.
