Cat grooming is a scary prospect. Thank goodness Petnificent is there. My daughter's old man kitty needed a bath and some of his tufty parts trimmed back. And a nail trim. Petnificent did a kind and gentle but thorough job. So glad they were there cos I just wasn't gonna do this -- I have the scars from trying to "help" previous pet cats. Reasonable prices, kept the appointment time and finished the job in about an hour. Nice people. read more

My daughter dropped off her dog in the morning. From the start he was not very comfortable, and she said she didn't get a good vibe from the place, but was recommended it so she left him there. He has been groomed at PetSmart several times before, but she felt that they didn't do a good enough job with his double coat shedding. She was recommended this place. They upset him so much he got diarrhea, and when they called me the lady on the phone was exceptionally snarky about when I was taking him home because they had to give him another bath. When we got there she politely (cough, cough) reminded me again that he soiled himself at least three more times and never once said how he did otherwise, unlike the previous times where they said he was an absolute angle to groom. He wanted nothing more to do with that place and was shoving his nose through the cage slats whining to get free. When she opened the door he slinked back into the cage and when she backed off he tried to lung forward to escape his prison. This went on for several times when he finally had enough and burst past her to try to get to us through the kiddie gate. She had his harness and attempted to put it on to no avail since he wanted nothing to do with her at all. I took the harness and was easily able to get it on him despite her being right beside him. She then tried to put the bandana on him and wasn't having any luck with that either. I tried to take it so I could get it on him without traumatized further, and she scratched me several times because she was being so rough with him. He definitely did not like this person and ran out the door with my husband the moment she opened the kiddie gate. He was very traumatized by his experience, and has NEVER acted this way with his numerous visits to the PetSmart groomers. My daughter got the deshedder package and it was like they didn't even do anything to him. There's more hair in the car after being deshedded than there was before he went. The receptionist should never be allowed to rough up a dog so bad that they're willing to burst out of the front door in a panic. We will never go here again, because dogs just know bad people. read more

Teresa does a wonderful job with Joey, miniature poodle. He can be "vocal" at times but she seems to handle it well!! Also, I love the fact that I can set the appointment on-line...huge help. Great place! read more

AMAZING service and even more amazing humans working here. Finding a groomer for a cat is difficult. They are far and few between, finding one short notice - FORGET ABOUT IT! My little dude had a litter box disaster this morning and I did what I could but I needed help, some fur trimming, a mat located in a very precarious place. Theresa not only fit me in, but did such an amazing job with a 10 month old kitten who had never been to a groomer. The other groomer there, Ascher (sp? ) gave me such valuable information to help at home. My little dude is more comfortable and all is well. Pets are family and they treat them as such. I watched as they groomed two pups as well. I have a groomer! read more

The folks working here demonstrate great care for my and others' pets. The facility is quiet, a major difference from other groomers in the area. I feel confident that they make my pets' experiences as positive as possible. read more

Fabulous. Great find. My dogs are nutz. One groomer elsewhere told me to medicate them for nail clipping. My saviors

My fur baby just turned 15yo and hadn't been groomed in over a year due to his anxiety and being around too many other dogs during the process. I read good reviews of Petnificent and decided to try them out. When I tell you she's a miracle worker, I mean it. She was able to do a complete grooming on him...haircut, bath, and toenails clipped. He looks amazing now and even has a little more pep in his step after looking like a stray for about a year. I recommend her to anyone with special grooming needs! read more

I wish I could give them a million stars. They are so wonderful. After an amazing experience with Petnificent a few months ago when they groomed our cat, we brought our dog in to be groomed. We were welcomed with huge smiles! Everyone was so kind and excited to have us there. The appointment was super fast in my opinion - under two hours, and our dog came out looking fresh as a daisy! He was shedding like crazy before we brought him in and no matter how many times we brushed him, we couldn't make him look better. But Petnificent did!! Highly recommend and can't wait to come here for years to come with our animals. read more

Teresa does an outstanding job taking care of your baby during the grooming experience! Right now she's unable to do home visits, but coming to her home still makes it an intimate and gentle process. This was my first visit with her, but it will definitely not be my last! Teresa is kind, sweet, and very attentive to your doggy's needs. Teresa, thank you for being so nice and accommodating to us during these uncertain times. We will be back again soon!! read more

I generally don't leave negative reviews. Everyone has a bad day. But my experience with Theresa at Petnificent has been horrible and I want to warn others to avoid this business. I can't speak to Theresa's skill as a groomer because we never made it in to actually get groomed. Initially Theresa responded quickly to my inquiries and set up an appointment two days later. Two hours before the appointment, Theresa texted me saying she had something come up and needed to reschedule. The rescheduled appointment was the next week. Then, three hours before that appointment she said she had to once again reschedule because "something came up." The next day Theresa said she wouldn't be able to groom my dog because she was "feeling under the weather." That was the last I heard from her and I'm now looking for another groomer. Again, she might be an excellent groomer but my experience with her was very irresponsible and unprofessional. Beware in you choose this business! read more

Due to COVID-19, our groomer was unavailable to give our dogs a much-needed haircut. I called multiple groomers, and they were not accepting new clients. Thankfully, Teresa was available and went out of her way to take care of our pups this week. Their cuts look amazing! Thanks, Teresa for taking them on such short notice. We look forward to the next visit. read more

This was a joke! First you have to call the phone number and that number tells you to either leave a text at that number or go to their website. So I went to their website and there is a place to click on to book an appointment, which I did to get my cats nails clipped. I made an appointment for 2:00 pm for the next day, Saturday afternoon. I got a message that said "Appointment Request Successful" and" Your confirmation number is 1802" It listed the day, time, person coming and what they would be doing. The next day I well prepared for Teresa Smith to be at my home at 2:00 pm. I have a cat from hell and does not let anyone near him, especially to cut his nails! So, I had to fight tooth and nail to get him to take medication that would calm him enough and that would let him get his nails clipped. I also had to sequester him in a tiny bathroom in order for him to be caught because he will hide and it can take an hour or more to catch him. Well, 2:35 pm rolls around and I never heard anything from Petnificent, so I texted them to see why they were late and I was told that my" appointment was requested but it was not accepted, the groomer was running behind schedule". She wanted to know if they could rescheduld for the next day? What kind of business are they running??? Mind you, I am disabled with MS and I am in extreme pain!! I had to make myself get out of bed that morning, clean up the house, which is nothing to most people, but to anyone suffering from pain, it's torture!! My poor cat had to be medicated unnecessarily and sit in a bathroom meowing for several hours and this woman thought nothing of the total inconvience that I was put in!! She thought I still wanted to be a customer of theirs? That's crazy! All she could say was "Oh my goodness". read more
