My two daughters and I love this class! We chose Music Together because of its close location to our home, because I needed a class where my 1 and 3 year old could be together, and I wanted to feel welcomed and treated well (after a terrible experience I had with a different music company). Rosie is our teacher and she is talented, kind, welcoming, and compassionate towards families with young children. She has a seamless flow to her classes that the kids feel safe and familiar with. For example, my girls immediately lie down after singing the "instruments are leaving" song and transitioning to the "lights out" lullaby song. When people are late, which happens occasionally when kids are little, Rosie sings the hello song to them, no matter how late they are, and the kids and care giver smile and relax. Mark, the owner of Petite Musician, has always given me excellent, cheerful costumer service over the phone. Some of the things I have seen in my children while attending this class: my one year old taps her knees and sings "ba ba" chants at home and sings songs to her baby dolls, on key. My 3 year old listens to the Cd's nonstop in her bedroom and in the car and sings the songs on key. She picks out her favorites and listens to them over and over. She asks me in the mornings "can we go to music class today?" Sometimes, during class, my 1 year old sits on my 3 year old's lap and it is clearly a bonding experience. My 1 year old follows her sister around and learns from her in class. I give Music Together a big thumbs up! read more
