He has an incredibly calm and dog-loving nature which immediately won the trust of our dogs, so he has been an incredible fit for our needs. Our dogs do weekly walks with him and his sweet pup River. He is reliable and an excellent communicator with scheduling and details. He has been excellent with dog sitting as well, staying overnight in our home. He sends pictures and texts throughout his stay, so we stay constantly updated on how things are going. During our meet and greet today, the lady tried to alpha roll my dog on his back several times. She said my dog needed to know who the alpha is. I just wanted to post this so people are aware of the type of methods they use. If I would have known about this, I would have never exposed my fearful dog to this type of outdated training method. He has gone on small pack walks before, he has been handled by other trainers, he has been groomed all his life by other people, and never ever been so fearful and anxious like he was with her. Also, putting 20+ dogs in a car definitely does not sound safe.

Alexa was our cats' "main" sitter but Kaitlin also stopped by a couple of times when Alexa wasn't available. We had the opportunity meet both Alexa and Kaitlin in person before we departed, and Tomiko also came by to make sure everything would run smoothly in our absence. I am pretty organized and had typed up instructions already for Alexa and Kaitlin, but Tomiko had a very detailed checklist that she also went through with me to make sure nothing was overlooked. I really appreciated that. We got texts with pictures and updates on our cats at every visit, which we also really appreciated. Low and behold, when my hubby and I came home from getting married we were informed by our neighbor that MY DOG WAS OUTSIDE trying to get back in the house. We also found out that Vanessa had invited her boyfriend into our home without asking. I was mortified and thinking what could have been like my dog, my baby could have been hit by a car and KILLED.. she had no explanation except it was because she didn't feel comfortable in my home even though I had asked her this in our first discussion and there was a problem with my location. Then she blamed my dog getting out because she is a German Shepherd. What must have happened is that she and her boy toy were NOT paying attention and my dog thought it was playtime getting into a car as she is a home girl. This being said after the bull, I don't even know if my dog was fed or cared for and it makes me sick to my stomach. Also, as a new customer I was expecting a phone call letting me know she was here and I HAD TO CALL HER..this is not okay and I will NEVER hire someone that is not totally honest with full disclosure again. All I asked was that my baby was safe and in the house when I got home.. But no: DID NOT HAPPEN..i give her and her service a big fat ICK..At minimum she should have given me at least one nights refund but oh no..NOTHING. If you love your dog/pet.
