Full…read morestory: I was considering to own a pup here, GLAD I DIDN'T because they're pushy and extremely nice just to sell you a dog. I see now Management doesn't care after that! I came back here because they sell the Brand Nutrisource that I was all out of for my new puppy, the brand is sold in limited places. I buy it and served it only to notice one of the crumbs was moving and it was a BABY ROACH ! My husband checks the bag and there's a small beetle inside it. That was enough for me, I have a PHOBIA with bugs in my home, especially baby roaches, so I quickly TRIPLE bag it and simply think to put it by the door to return tomorrow. When I get there, I tell them what happened but I add for assurance that "it's ok, I'm sure it's on the manufacturing of the brand than the store." They tell me they can't accept it if it's open. Idk how it can make SENSE for me to find out their inventory has roaches in their food if I didn't open it. They told me that can't happen. But I show them my receipt, I HAD JUST bought it within 24 hours and I open all the bags and show them how full it is. It's new just open. When she was going back to ask the manager, I had to ask her to take my receipt to show them. If anything I'M looking out telling THEM there's roaches in that inventory so they can handle it with precaution with their vendor. To my surprise, THEY DIDN'T CARE!? It blows my mind how a few days back I had a manager trying to convince us on a puppy and the sales associate telling us to "see if we qualify" because their prices are much higher than others with all that they try to sell you but we wanted to pay in cash and didn't find the dog we wanted. But this time when I had a simple issue, the manager didn't even care to come out to talk to me or check the bag. I cannot imagine how disconcerting it would be to have invested so much and turned away over having simple issues with their food. Because of a simple bag of dog food that isnt taking serious I will never recommend dog people to trust these people to uphold quality.

The location is very quaint, and one of the few vets that can work with guinea pigs. I brought my 3yo female piggie in after conveniently making an appointment over the phone just a day before. It was quick and easy. The location is straightforward to find. I was immediately warmly greeted upon entering and thought their chalkboard welcoming all patients by name that day was super cute. Dr. Vicente Torres and the assistant were both super friendly, knowledgeable, and had quite the bedside manner. He even trimmed her nails for free while I was explaining the issue. Prices were on par considering the issue and I love the open communication with my paid invoices being sent to me plus the VCA app on my phone. Looking forward to our next check-up visit! Thank you, Dr. Torres.

I felt compelled to share my experience so that prospective puppy buyers can make an informed…read moredecision. I purchased a Shih Tzu puppy from Forever Love Puppies and, like many new pet owners, was excited to welcome him into my family. Shortly after bringing him home, however, my veterinarian diagnosed him with coccidia, an intestinal parasite that required treatment. Fortunately, he is responding well to medication and is expected to make a full recovery. He is now a beloved member of my family, and my concern has never been with him. My concern is with the circumstances surrounding his health at such a young age and the support provided after the sale. As I began researching further, I learned information that raised additional concerns regarding the sourcing and care of puppies sold through this business. I reviewed the breeder information included with my puppy's paperwork and read accounts from other customers describing health issues with their puppies. Some reviews reported serious illnesses and, in heartbreaking cases, the loss of their pets shortly after purchase. While I cannot personally verify every review I encountered, the similarities among multiple customer experiences caused me significant concern and prompted me to look more closely into where these puppies originate. One aspect of my experience that was particularly disappointing involved communication after the purchase. After my puppy was diagnosed and began treatment, I responded to follow-up text messages from Forever Love Puppies and provided updates regarding his condition. As a new puppy owner dealing with an unexpected health issue, I was hoping for guidance, clarification, or even acknowledgment of my concerns. Instead, I received little response beyond a recommendation to take my puppy to a different veterinary partner. I also learned from the veterinarian's office that the veterinary practice previously associated with Forever Love Puppies was no longer working with the company. This information was shared with me by the veterinary office rather than by Forever Love Puppies. As a customer already dealing with a sick puppy, I found it concerning that such a significant change was not communicated directly. While I cannot speak to the reasons behind the change in veterinary partnerships, the lack of transparency and communication contributed to my overall concerns about the level of support provided after the sale. What was especially troubling to me was realizing that many buyers, including myself, may assume that purchasing from a retail puppy seller means the puppy has come from a carefully screened and reputable breeding program. Looking back, I wish I had conducted more extensive research beforehand and asked additional questions regarding the breeder, health guarantees, veterinary records, and breeding conditions. To be clear, my puppy is doing well today because he has received prompt veterinary treatment, ongoing care, and a great deal of love. However, no new pet owner should have to begin their journey with a preventable health concern while simultaneously struggling to obtain meaningful support from the seller. For anyone considering purchasing a puppy from this business, I strongly encourage you to conduct thorough research, request complete breeder information, obtain all available health records, and schedule an independent veterinary examination immediately after bringing your puppy home. Ask detailed questions and do not hesitate to seek additional documentation before making a decision. A puppy is not simply a purchase, it is a long-term commitment and a member of the family. My hope is that sharing my experience will help others ask important questions, make informed decisions, and ensure that every puppy receives the healthy start in life that it deserves.

At Breeder Luis Gonzalez's location a puppy was found "lethargic and cold to the touch," another dog was underweight with his ribs and spine showing; the facility had over 500 dogs." I am beyond outraged by the inhumane and negligent treatment of these animals at Forever Love Puppies in Pembroke Park. We purchased two puppies: a 3-month-old Chihuahua and a 2-month-old Pomeranian. They came home sick. No family should ever experience the fear and financial burden of bringing home a puppy only to find out it is already ill. The so-called "complimentary" veterinary visit that this store "gifts" buyers to use is completely misleading. Our puppies were never examined by a veterinarian, yet we were assured by a staff assistant that they were "perfect" without any tests or physical examination. Side note on this fraud of a clinic: When I walked out of the examination room, there was a dead dog on the bench next to a lady in the waiting room. Such a level of unprofessionalism or disrespect is unbelievable. The attendant called someone to "come get the body". Didn't offer a room for the lady to grieve and choose the urn made her pay and choose in front of everyone with her dead dog on the bench behind her. Days later, our Chihuahua puppy ended up in the emergency room severely dehydrated with signs of Ataxia, a neurological symptom. The result? Over $1,200 in emergency veterinary bills and weeks of emotional distress, all of which could have been avoided with proper care and honest medical screening. We were told that a simple fecal test would have immediately detected Giardia. That basic test was never performed, even though the paperwork states otherwise. We took our boys to our private veterinarian, and both were diagnosed with Giardia. Even more disturbing is the breeder listed on our paperwork. A quick search reveals serious public concerns tied to this breeder. When we looked up the address ourselves using publicly available satellite imagery, the location appears to be a barn-like structure with no visible evidence of adequate shelter or proper housing facilities. At the time, temperatures were around 32 degrees. The thought of vulnerable puppies being housed and possibly transported in those conditions is horrifying. The fact that this store continues to source from breeders surrounded by red flags demonstrates either a shocking lack of due diligence or a complete disregard for animal welfare and consumer protection. There is also a publicly available news report involving the owner's son, Larry Master, which every potential buyer should watch before considering a purchase. Reports and documentation show that puppies are transported in freezing temperatures, with hundreds crammed into trucks and distributed to pet stores across the country. These are living, breathing animals, not merchandise, not inventory, not commodities. This entire experience was irresponsible, unethical, and deeply disturbing. If you care about animal welfare, please do your research. Seek out truly reputable, transparent breeders or consider adoption. No puppy deserves to suffer for the sake of profit, and no family deserves to bring home heartbreak instead of joy. https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/lawsuits-forever-love-puppies-accused-of-selling-sick-dogs-11711531/
