I highly recommend Petes Towing. They are AAA recommended and helped us with our travel trailer. We broke a leaf spring and could not tow it with our truck. Francisco got it on the flatbed trailer and got us to a repair place in King City. He was real busy that day but treated us with efficiency and was very careful about our little trailer even though he had a long hard day. If I could give a negative star I would. My car broke down and I called AAA and Peet's was the towing company they set up to tow me. I was told a driver would he with me in 45 minutes I waited over a hour. Tried to text them and tried to call. I didn't get any response and they hung up on me as soon as they answered the phone I didn't even talk to anyone. AAA said that there was a unknown delay that I was not notified about. I was late to work and had to have a friend help me push my car to the auto shop. I hope that they get better and actually start taking care of people when they need a tow it was hot and I was tired of waiting I ended had no choice but to cancel the tow and have help to push the car. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. DI NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I needed my 30 foot trailer (not a huge trailer) moved 500 feet near their location. They quoted me $500.00. Ouch. Is because of my race? Or because I sound educated and therefore must be rich and stupid? I dont appreciate them trying to take advantage of me. Needless to say, I did not pay their price. I see quite a few bad reviews on here for Pete's. My experience with Pete's was excellent. I have AAA so it was pre payed is, worth it. Did not appreciate the CO19 BS from aaa which stated I could not ride In the tow truck but I was not abandoned on the side of the road by Pete's. Professional-friendly service. Our son and daughter in law had a breakdown on 101 just south of King City, and Pete's sent a tow truck (via a AAA member call), and Ricardo from their Soledad office came. Very helpful, kind and courteous. They stored the vehicle and bundled a package for us that went with towing and storage and towing again a few days later. They very helpfully recommended Castro's next door (a very good spot reviewed elsewhere) for something to eat while we were waiting. Yes, it was 45 min., but that's not unreasonable in my book for this kind of service. Office staff was pleasant, supportive, made several calls with other staff to double check our situation and arrangements . Sorry for the negative experience others report, but we were treated well at every step, service was just what was promised, staff was professional and courteous (and we dealt with three different staff over two visits) so we base our recommendation on our experience in Mid-October 2021. Hope we don't need them again, but if we do, we will be happy to use them. read more

Great helpful business. They did a great job helping me while I had mechanic broke down on my car.

I never leave bad reviews, but we called AAA for roadside assistance at 1:30 pm at about 1:37 we got a message from Pete's Towing that they were on their way and would be 88 minutes, I thought that seems a bit long but okay they might be busy or there might be traffic. 98 minutes later I asked where the driver was and they said sorry he will be there in 20 minutes. I said okay again it is traffic time on a Friday. The 20 minutes passed and we called and they said oh it will be 30 minutes. Someone came to help out before the service vehicle came, I was furious we waited hours in 100-degree weather. If you're busy or your guys are not on the way then say so instead of saying you are on your way, but we called to let them know we were okay, they told us it would be 45, I just let them go to find out I wasn't there anymore, they didn't show up until 5 pm. I am never recommending them to anyone and if you can call anyone else to help call them. read more

Warning! I never write reviews but this company will rob you ! Zero stars ! If you would like being Robbed then call them ! $220 to be towed 1 block ! Horrible hook up , damaged my car . Prices are made up as they wish . Zero Morals , Zero ethics ! This is your warning pick anybody but this company! Be careful they must have consistent bad business because the name on the shop is different now . I can't remember what it said . Switching names because of bad business I'm sure . Predatory and unethical. Towed to their lot late Friday night and charged us $79 a night for storage (including all day Friday - time re-sets at midnight) and Monday - $316 for a weekend!!! read more
