It is not shipped anywhere else. That's a rare find since most dry cleaners don't have a plant on site and have drive your clothes to a secondary place. You can also get same day service for anything (dry cleaning, alteration, pressing, washing). Clothes are taken care very carefully and ensure that color stays intact. Clothes come back looking new. Pressing is done meticulously with amazing crease lines. My buttons and zippers are all checked to make sure none of them are lose or broken prior to cleaning it. Its a cash, money order, or check only. No credit cards (to keep prices reasonable since credit cards take a big percent from each purchase which in turn puts the cost on the customers). I would highly recommend this dry cleaner over any other if you want to make sure your clothes don't get damaged.

When you walk into their store now, it reeks of a heavy, synthetic fragrance - the kind you often smell in Miami apartment lobbies. Unfortunately, that scent doesn't just stay in their space - it transfers onto your clothes. I brought home a dress that smelled so strongly of the same fragrance (even while still wrapped in their plastic cover). For me, that's unacceptable. Clean clothes should smell neutral, not perfumed. I'm sensitive to scents - they make me sneeze and give me a headache - and I'm also aware these synthetic fragrances are not good for your health. They're made with chemical compounds that can act as endocrine disruptors, trigger allergies and headaches, and contribute to poor indoor air quality. It's frustrating that a business focused on "cleaning" clothes would saturate their environment (and customers' items) with chemicals that do the opposite. I did ask that they redo the cleaning, which they agreed to. But when I got the dress back, it still reeked of the same fragrance. At that point, I gave up and had to hang it outside in my backyard for a day to air out before I could even place it in my closet. For a dry cleaner that charges premium prices, this was an unnecessary and frustrating experience. I've since switched to another cleaner that delivers quality results and is fragrance-free.

My wife dropped off our kitchen knives to be sharpened including 2 Henckels, a Shun, a cutco…read morecleaver and more importantly 2 heirloom knives that were my great grandfathers. Apparently the person at the shop explained that the method he uses would cause scratching on the blades. For that transparency I am grateful though I do not understand why a knife sharpening company would continue to use a method that damages knives so drastically. When we picked them up, the knives were sharp, but scratched beyond anything I've ever seen. It looks like a bench grinder was used to sharpen them. I spoke with someone at the shop who explained that all commercial knife sharpening companies do that and that it was normal which I don't believe is true. I have contacted the manufacturers of the knives in order to see if they can be repaired but most likely they and the heirlooms will remain permanently damaged. It was $600 worth of knives not counting the value of the heirlooms and the price for sharpening them was $49. Think twice before bringing valuable knives to be sharpened here. An article I started on a knife sharpening forum about whether this is normal https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/kitchen-knives-damaged-by-commercial-sharpener.1571937/#post-18011883 Alex, I appreciate you writing. The pictures should speak for themselves and give future customers an idea of what they will get when they bring knives to you to be sharpened. The manufacturers would have sharpened them properly for less than you charged so yes I made a mistake not sending these knives in to them. As I said before, I appreciate your transparency with my wife about the scratches. If I had been there I never would have let you do this. The knives are as sharp as i get my machetes with my bench grinder which is to say that yes they are sharp but the edges are no longer straight and I doubt they will stay sharp long. After doing research I discovered different companies use different tools and methods for a similar price. Maybe it's time to look into using a different method? I honestly can't believe you've been doing this to good knives for 50 years.

I happened to be having a beach day when we had one of our regular rain storms. This one had extra lightening so we were really forced off the beach. I went hunting for food. Just so happened I spotted the laundry mat after parking and placing my beach bag in my trunk. The place was super packed even for a weekday. And the AC was blowing hella strong. The ac would be great on a normal day. But walking in with sand on my feet and wet I was a little less welcoming to the chill. Even with a packed house there was no wait on machines. There was a wait to get bills for the machine, wait for detergent, and wait for getting this huge key for the bathroom. The bathroom was surprisingly not scary. TV play above along with music but it still didn't feel loud? With my one load in I'm able to do a frogger across the street and check out a decent breakfast spot. Dryers sucked! But while I feed all my coin into the dryers someone lost their phone. Of course they claimed it was stolen. Employees searched all over. Search everything, talked with other patrons about the phone and repeatedly told customer to double check there items. After maybe 20 minutes the man was livid! But he still needed to call someone to pick him up. Employee let him use her phone to do the search. Maybe 20 minutes later (yeah I was still drying my one load of clothes) the man calls back to say that he found his phone between his folded laundry. The dryers suck but the service was 4 stars.
