They changed the oil, plugs, filters, etc. and $85 later, my generator was running like a charm and served me well for that storm. BUT... as I am getting older, pulling that cord was problematic. I sold my old generator and bought a new one -- one that started with a KEY! BUT-- I had no clue on how to set it up and get it going. REX RENTAL came through once again. Bill added gas, oil, charged the battery and gave me "Generator 101" lessons on how to use this one. REX is ALSO a rental place - tables, chair, tents, pressure washers ---AND they REPAIR lawn mowers and small engine stuff. Everyone was pleasant - they are affordable - and best of all... they are LOCAL and independently owned. I love patronizing mom and pop businesses.

He was able to check out the situation the very next day, and had quoted a very reasonable number to do the work. However, once he was up on the roof, he found that the gutters were clean, no debris in sight. He suggested the it might be a roof issue, not gutters. I asked him how much he wanted to be paid for coming over and taking a look.... He said there was NO charge! Not even a minimal amount for the effort he, and his crew, provided. He was adamant. Nothing. While I can't comment on the quality of his work, and certainly can on his character. I would recommend him to anyone.
