We rented a cement saw, a breaker bar, and a sledge hammer for a remove-the-concrete project in my backyard. Being new to the game, we picked up a hand held saw instead of what we really needed, which was a walk-behind saw. I called Alan, and he informed me that there would be a $25 fee for exchanging the saws. When he heard me out and found out I was an amateur and first time customer, he offered to exchange the equipment gratis, since we hadn't used it for an hour. The whole process was professional, friendly, clear, and reasonably priced. I'd rent from Poe's again for sure.

I let them know I needed to be credited back weeks ago as I was wrongly charged for someone else's orders and they have made zero effort to let me know what's going on. They say they don't save your credit card info but thats a lie. It's been over a month since I let them know what happened and they have offered zero help in returning funds to my credit card. I would advise everyone to shop elsewhere unless they want to live the nightmare I have by using them. 99% percent of companies out there would've easily seen they've charged my card in error twice instead other party who requested their service and would've credited back my card weeks ago. Its incredible that this company operates the way it does, horrible customer service.

Now for the not so good- prices are a bit high for a tool rental place and they are a well oiled machine, friendliness is not a skill set here but what did you expect- this place has evidently made it big enough that they don't have to fight for every dollar like a smaller tool rental. Prices may be a slightly higher then advertised so read the fine print and ask questions. Also make sure you have your drivers license that matches the vehicle registration you will be using to pick up the equipment, it must match. Although I did read and ask questions prior to renting the staff was excellent with respect to providing this information beforehand. The equipment was clean upon pick up and the outside staff assisted me in loading into my SUV. All the staff was friendly & very helpful and knowledgeable. I would like to recognize Jacob for his excellent customer service! I had a situation arise with the equipment I rented and Jacob went above and beyond to help me helping me correct the issue. This was really huge because if it wasn't for Jacob's help my project completion would have been delayed and most probably costed me additional money. Thank you Jacob & Miami Tool Rental! I called a couple of days before I needed the tool to reserve it, the associate told me they have no such tool at any location and never did. I directed him to the website, his response was "oh, yeah there is lot's of stuff on here we don't have".
