I cannot stress enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with their services. To begin with, the electrician they sent to my house seemed more interested in wasting time than actually resolving the issue at hand. It became evident that he had no intention of efficiently diagnosing the problem, as he aimlessly tinkered with various components, without any clear direction or purpose. It was apparent that he was deliberately prolonging the process to maximize the number of hours billed, which is both unethical and unacceptable. Furthermore, the electrician's work pace was remarkably slow, almost as if he had no regard for the value of my time or the urgency of the situation. Each task that should have taken a reasonable amount of time was needlessly prolonged, adding more hours to the already exorbitant bill. This deliberate sluggishness not only wasted my valuable time but also showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. To add insult to injury, when the final bill arrived, I was appalled by the exorbitant amount they charged me for their inadequate services. It was clear that the company prioritized financial gain over providing efficient and honest service. The charges were unjustifiably high, considering the amount of time wasted and the subpar work that was eventually done. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring SNG electrical to think twice. Their lack of integrity, unskilled labor, and unethical billing practices have left a bitter taste in my mouth. As a customer, I expected professionalism, expertise, and fair pricing, but unfortunately, none of these expectations were met. In conclusion, my experience with SNG electrical was nothing short of a nightmare. Their deliberate inefficiency, time-wasting tactics, and unjustifiably high charges make them the epitome of an untrustworthy and unreliable electrical service provider. I urge others to avoid this company at all costs and seek out a more reputable and customer-oriented alternative. I would say it's a day light robbery in the garb of professional service provider. I had to be in a power outage for 8 hours and had to take an off from work because this prolonged and unending issue fixing regime. It was a simple 2 hour job and they took 8 hours. I tried to swap all the light switches to smart switches myself and oh boy was I doing things wrong, I did something wonky and made the top floor power dead. I panicked because family members (elders) will have trouble, and it was getting dark out. I messaged a lot of companies and hoped for the best. From all the companies I contacted, Electric All responded within 10 mins to my message (Via Yelp). (Note: others responded between 1 hour to 3 hours, they all had a good response time, but in the eyes of a panicking homeowner, vigilance matters; some even indicated that they can come next week) I got in touch with Sammy, and even though he was done for the day, (It was on a weekend), he came all the way to me from home. -- Let me say this as a Side note; THAT itself shows dedication. I was glad and feeling better that someone is interested at looking at the mess that I got myself into! Once Sammy got here, he got right into it, he taught me what I was doing was on the right track and gave me insights on how I could have done it. Seriously, this guy is not only pleasant and a family man, but he is teaching me as well? Yes please! I love to learn! Why don't we have more like him in this world? Amazing ability of workmanship and explanation. The way he talks about his profession and what he is doing, giving me ideas on what to expect along the way and how my home wiring actually works compared to other types. I was amazed. He showed great passion on what he does, and he does it well. This guy is a Jedi Master Electrician. 5/5 Stars because Yelp doesn't allow me to give anything higher. (Like 100 out of 5 would show my experience rating) Not only am I impressed but his pricing was reasonable for the work he did. Some quoted me less some quoted me more. I am happy with the price he provided me. He also told me the price before he even got here, there we no surprises. Also, my final bill was higher than what he originally quoted, because I asked him to take care of the rest of the switches (There was like 12 total), I at this point just wanted someone like him to do it right the first time. So that's totally on me for giving him extra work, and even then he charged me less than what it came up to. You give me a high class experience, I asked you to do more work even though you should be home with family and you still give me a break on the price? Love you man! In the end of his visit, he gave me pointers on my next project (Nest Thermostat) and how to do it myself. His focus was for me to get things done, not to take my money. I love his attitude and I love his humble appreciation of the work he does. He said I can ask him to come by but I should try it first and learn from it. Sammy came over tonight (Sunday evening) and not only found the cut wires... but also showed me how the outdoor power was corroded and not working due to water condensation. This time, March 2026, there was a larger list of jobs that included replacing 4 existing light fixtures, installing bathroom fan timers and installing dimmer switches. There were also a couple of miscellaneous items to fix. Two of the light replacements were situated in a vaulted ceiling and in a two story staircase. It involved some challenging work but it went very smoothly. For this job, Sydney and Luke represented McVey Electrical in a highly professional, efficient and competent manner!
