Every workout is different, so boredom isn't a factor. The trainers break up strength training circuits with bursts of cardio for a workout that is different every time. And it's all indoors, so no 5:30 AM parking lot workouts! Yay! The atmosphere is friendly and judgment-free. If you need a break or need to modify a move the trainers will fully support that. Groups are generally small and everyone is welcoming. While there are some super-fit people, the majority of the members are working on their fitness goals and come in all shapes and sizes. There is no intimidation whatsoever! So, why not 5 stars? The cost. I lucked upon a Groupon that made going very affordable, but regular membership is in the ballpark of $125-$150/month for one person, depending on the plan you select. I look forward to my workouts, which are always different and challenging and usually fun. I say usually because sometimes my butt is kicked royally, and I'm thankful when the hour is up (but still thankful I went). I love being able to just show up in my workout clothes and not have to think - just do. The concept is that you should spent a certain amount of time in each of a few different heart rate zones. I've always been athletic and typically active, but I've never paid much attention to my heart rate before now. The equipment (treadmills, water rowers, weights) is top-of-the-line, and the room itself is a motivator, somewhat dimly lit and with fantastic music playing (although music varies by coach). Speaking of coaches, I've only been going to two of them because I enjoy their coaching style so much - Anthony and Erin (and Anthony's playlists are the absolute best to me). Both of them are encouraging and engaging and help me to push myself each day. Everything is sort of at your own pace to an extent, and there are people in all of my sessions of different abilities, sizes, ages, etc. It's such a unique workout and wonderful environment. Is it expensive? It is absolutely expensive, but health is worth it. This is worth it.

You can't put your hands on people, that is technically an assault. I told the staff and nothing was done. The coach (Brittany) was more interested in selling a membership to some first timers and didn't seem to care. I decided to terminate my membership with OTF after this incident and how poorly the studio handled it.

Burn Boot Camp just recently opened up and I am so grateful to have my new "Burn Family". Emily is an amazing trainer and her energy mixed with her attitude, dedication and motivation makes it such a wonderful atmosphere. Not only does she keep you on your toes and make you push harder than you thought you could, she will entertain you. Burn uses body weight exercises and uses dumbells, bands, burn bars, the rig, and other items. I feel it is a mix between crossfit (much safer and not so strenuous on your joints) and a bootcamp class. If your looking for a change and want a gym to fulfill your needs and you like class based gyms this is for you. They offer many sessions to include 5am which is very hard to come by in the area. They also have "Childwatch" that is included with your membership for certain times of the day. Give it a try you will not be disapointed.

There are tons of different workout machines I never would have even thought of. Then they have unlimited tanning beds, massage chairs, and hydro massage beds. There's also this new feature that helps clear your skin? -- I actually tried that today. It was like a standing up tanning bed. After I was finished with it the people said the floor was supposed to shake. That didn't happen with me. But I'll continue to use it to see if there's any improvements with the clarity of my skin. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. They're right when they say it's a "judgement free zone." I definitely feel comfortable and excited to get fit at this Planet Fitness!

Orginal review below, I mostly posted about the hour change…read morewith no notification and received programmed response that said the hours where posted on the app, not that it answered my question of why I wasn't informed, but even the hours on the app are still wrong on top of it as seen below. Went in the day and they had new stuff, thinking cool, but everything was malfunctioning and at first they acted like it was on me, but then finally realize it's the machine. Massage bed turned off after 3 min and I just walked out. Work in the day and evening and signed up a year ago for a 24 hr gym. Started popping after work recently and they have been closed. I finally walked up to the door and saw extremely shrunken hours that serve me zero purpose. No notification. Really shows the scammy nature of planet fitness we all know, where most people pay and don't show up. but to shrink hours as soon as you get an influx of people signing up in January with know notification is wild.
