They took me in immediately, and also let me know my sticker was just past due for an oil change but made it very clear they were not pressuring me to do while there, was just bringing it to my attention. I decided to have it done anyways. Their pricing for my repair, and oil change was very acceptable! There was no run around. Just cut and dry which I appreciated very much. The staff was welcoming and made you feel like a friend! Daryl (the owner) is someone I felt in my heart was an honest wholesome man. And the technician (i believe his name was Dan) was very knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell me on a single thing. When I picked up my vehicle I was slightly nervous because we all know there's always some sort of bad news you hear after work is done. "This needs replaced asap, thats broken and will break down if not replaced soon" and quotes are prepared before you even show up. NONE of that occurred. I wasnt targeted to be upsold on a single thing. I didn't get the typical lecture of needing to spend hundreds of dollars in the near future. Dan told me everything checked out well, ran my payment and they both wished me a great evening! I came home and told my boyfriend if he ever needs work done he doesn't want to do, to take it there. I had the most pleasant experience and I cant thank the staff enough for making me feel like I was leaving my vehicle in great hands! I will be coming back!

Everything was going smoothly until a few bolts wouldn't go back in. So I took it to Chad's Automotive to see if they could help. They were so kind and fit me in right away. After waiting about 45 minutes, they took my truck in and quickly figured out and fixed the issue. The nicest part? They didn't even charge me! Afterward, Chad came out, patiently explained what I had done wrong, and offered tips for next time. That really meant a lot to me. Instead of just fixing it and sending me off, he took the time to teach me something helpful. Experiences like that are rare these days, and I truly appreciate their kindness and great service. I wholeheartedly recommend Chad's Automotive--definitely! I feel like I've found my new trusted mechanic. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me and my truck!

They helped reduce oil consumption/burning issues in a Hyundai Santa Fe 2016 that had been going on for years, manufacturer acknowledged the GDI engine issue and we missed the recall by a couple months. Helped repair and restore a 73 K20 with busted rods, lifters, grooved cylinders and the entire under carriage. Day to day needs on a 2013 MDX are a breeze with this crew. Chad's a great communicator on surprises issues they find, what repairs were done and what may be worth considering later on. Prices are fair and lead times are consistently a couple days on smaller stuff, a week or so on bigger things. If you care about your cars as much as your children, you'll never go wrong trusting his team with your vehicles.

"Man, I'm glad I called that guy!"…read more I called Tony after searching on Google for a mobile mechanic that could do an pre-purchase inspection. I had found a car that looked awesome but it was 70 miles from my home. Tony answered the call and said he could be there the next day to do the inspection. He arrived on time and was professional and courteous to the people selling the car. He found multiple things that were wrong which were not disclosed by the sellers and would have caused the car to need more work than it was worth. If I had someone else look, or if I had looked at it myself, I would have missed these things. Tony saved me almost $7,000 and I'm grateful for his expertise. I will call him anytime I need an honest and reliable mechanic. Thanks, Tony!

I was able to drive it to my sister's house but knew it needed significant body repair. The next day, upon my sister's 100% recommendation, we took my car to Traditional Auto Body & Paint in West Salem. We arrived before the shop was open but Susan came to us and said, "Come inside where it is warm, to wait for the technicians." This much-needed kindness set the tone for five weeks of incredible care and patience. Jonathan Mayorga, Robert Anderson, and all the technicians paid attention to my unique/personal situation in dealing with insurance, my health issues and even getting back home. The professional expertise given to repair my car motivates me to post a FIVE STAR review AND 100% recommendation for TRADITIONAL AUTO BODY & PAINT. The initial examination of my vehicle was thorough, and details were well explained to me. I was updated frequently via phone calls and email regarding estimates and insurance coverage. The full repair of my car was completed in a timely manner, done to my 100% satisfaction, and was cleaned, inside and out, better than it has ever been. I was pleased to be given a detailed report of all the repair that was done, so that I will be able to share this with my repair shop in Bellevue, WA. I certainly do not wish the necessity of auto repair for anyone but, if the occasion does occur, I would highly recommend TRADITIONAL AUTO BODY & PAINT, Salem, Oregon. My sincere thanks to all professionals there! Roberta Mock
