The owner driver was polite, personable and engaging. The route taken was clever and missed all the traffic build ups.Can be highly recommended. We will be using this company to and from the airport when in Sydney.

I was searching online for reasonably priced transport from Circular Quay to the airport for a…read moregroup of friends when I spotted this company's catchy name and sleek-looking van. I arranged everything online and quickly got a personal note back from the owner (who turned out to be our driver) to confirm the pickup details. Nigel showed up at our arranged spot at our arranged time and proved to be more tour guide than shuttle service. After he packed our group and loads of luggage into his roomy van, he headed for the airport. pointing out interesting sites and landmarks along the way. When we mentioned that we had hours to kill at the airport before our international flight, he suggested taking a leisurely route through Sydney's interesting neighborhoods, and along the coast to well-known beaches and hidden coves. By the time we arrived at the airport, Nigel had given us a not-in-the-guidebooks (complimentary) sightseeing tour that convinced me I must visit Australia again. Auztranz will be my first choice for all transportation and sightseeing; hopefully Nigel will be available for a multi-day tour of New South Wales.

It's not…read moreclose to anything of interest so arriving awhile before we could check in to our cruise left us sitting in the expansive terminal with nothing to do. There is a cafe onsite and the restrooms are clean. Cruise ships arriving and departing from White Bay cruise under the Harbor Bridge on their way in and out of Syndey, which is exciting, especially being waved to from those doing the bridge climb.

Should be called The Shite Bay Cruise Terminal. It's always exhilarating sailing into Sydney and…read morejust a pity we arrived here which is a ferry ride away from Circular Quay and away from the city centre. Customs took about an hour to clear the ship. Immigration officers ok as I don't always find them sweetness and light in Australia. The whole terminal is drab. Black and grey everywhere. Not representative of Sydney as a party town. No smoking signs outside the terminal. Boarding the ship after shore time we encountered grumpy Muslim and Asian security officers and discovered after we boarded the ship that they had given thorough pat-downs to 70 and 80 year old Westerners whose false hips had set off the alarms. I'm not surprised the Cronulla Riots took place what with the terrorist attacks worldwide and now we're being treated like children at ports and airports. The good thing about arriving at this terminal was that we were able to walk to a delightful suburb called Balmain and enjoy the pubs and gaze at the attractive houses. We've both done Sydney before.

Each train car was packed once we arrived at this station so the train had to park there until everyone was able to get off. The bottleneck for getting out of the station were the stairs. Since it was an elevated platform, there were nice views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the surrounding area.

Milsons Point station (note no apostrophe in the name!) must be the CityRail station with the most…read morereal estate value. It's got the lot, incredible value, never to be repeated again: views (including water views and Harbour Bridge views), close to transport (yeah, literally, but ferries, f(r)eeway and buses are also not far away), close to shops (a couple of restaurants and cafes down there), heritage building, lifts built-in, gardens at your (non-existent) door-step. The list goes on. It also has got two bathrooms, an unknown number of rooms (probably more than your average home), but no parking spaces and no swimming pool:( Ok, in terms of real estate value I've lied a bit here. Circular Quay station is equally good (just see my review of it). The best part of this is you get to enjoy this value every time you check in here, and it only(!) costs you the price of a CityRail ticket. The interesting thing with the transport hub 'Milsons Point station' is that you won't even really notice it's there. Once you step out of the station building, which on its ground level really is just an arch-way under the extension of our Harbour Bridge, you're either in Kiribilli village, or Bradfield Park. From either side, it's just a stone's throw to the harbour. One last breath of harbour air. Breath-in...aaaahh fresh air: "Please stand clear. Doors closing." Oi, bummer.
