Around 8:10, one of the staff approached, and as I handed him the key, I said that I would walk down to Sip on the Square for a coffee. I was not in any hurry, and by the time I ambled back the car was ready. The inspection fee is $7. There is a county tax collector office just on the other side of the Blanco River, near the Wimberley City Hall. There was no line there, I paid $74 and left with the sticker to put in the windshield = good for one more year.

Not only was it with the team for 5 business days, they ensured me that it would be done, which in my mind means completed by Thursday. I had called and check on the status on Wednesday around 3pm and the gentleman said that he hadn't even gotten around to doing a diagnostic on my vehicle. I extended my rental car, which in total cost me $400 To rent for the week because I have 4 kids and an obviously busy life. On Friday at 3:30 I called to see the status and he said that I was "next in line" to run a simple diagnostic. The expectation was set that it would be done by Thursday.
