Not only did he chat with me for a few minutes on what I was looking for but then emailed me photos of things he thought might fit the bill. Now that's what I'm talking about!!! So all the customer service that has gone from every chain store - this is where it ended up... Who knew! Jose was very up front with me that his pieces were probably out of my price range but that did not stop him from helping anyway and he might just get a customer outta me yet. I did visit the store the next day just because of his kind treatment of me on the phone and it was a lovely store. I think it has something to do with the overall proportions and the way the upholstery fits into the frame that makes it feel like it was built specifically for our living room space. Both rugs I ordered were listed as "in stock and ships in 5-7 days" so I took a chance. And I am so glad I did. I placed my order for 2 rugs (The Tahj and the Saffron runner) and 2 coordinating rug pads on 2/17. The rug pads arrived on 2/25 and both rugs arrived on 2/27. They are absolutely STUNNING. I'm Persian and Turkish--I was born into rug culture, so I have high standards; I am in awe of these rugs and delighted to invite them into my home. It's a bummer that L+G has not been consistent with their shipping + customer service, but I'm hoping my positive experience + review might help someone else who is smitten with one of their rugs to see that sometimes they do get it right.

Mom was overjoyed with Ryan's creation and loved having her grandchildren sleep over on her extremely comfortable space efficient wall bed. The kids loved the "cool" factor of the bed folding down over the plush sofa. Their favorite feature was playing with the remote control to change the recessed colored lighting to fit their mood. Recently, we had a question regarding the wall bed outside of business hours while moving homes. Ryan not only answered our call but was extremely eager to help. My six children who slept on the bed for years are all adults now and we plan to continue using Mod Barn for current and future generations.
