The entry key is part of the FOB and an important part of a working FOB. He told me that I now need to go to a dealer to have the keys cut which means extra time and money. Last year, the owner retired and sold the business to new owners. I recently had 2 keys made by the new owner and he charged me $50 for the keys plus a credit card fee. I was stunned but paid because I didn't ask about pricing before the keys were cut. Just for comparison, I stopped at Ace Hardware the same day and had the same key duplicated for $3.59. Van's charge nearly 7 times the cost of the keys from Ace. They have lost my trust and business.
