They've really cleaned this place up. The game area gives a lot less tickets than it used to but it was clean and most games worked. They had a good deal going, each game was 1 point. Can't speak to the food because I don't trust their pizza after having a bad experience before, but the lunch buffet looked decent. Took the grandkids to celebrate birthdays. Got the pizza special that included time in the arcade. This location looks like it's part of the old Bookmans. Clean, well maintained facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Kids loved the food and game arcade. Besides us, looks like about 3-4 other birthday parties were taking place at the same time. It's not all parties. Took our two grandsons for the lunch buffet and also to play the arcade games. The cashier split a 300 token deal plan between two tap cards for the boys which was nice. Our tab was just under a hundred dollars for two adults and two kids. We had about 3 hours to while away. The lunch was fine. The facility seemed relatively clean for what it is. Most of the arcade games were operational. With the arcade there is a small roller coaster. But when we asked if we could please have someone come over and run it, the response was that it was not operational and a guy was expected to service it late in the day. We had an inkling the employee was telling us a lie. About a half an hour later we finished up and went to the car, but I had left something at our table and when I went back in to retrieve it the roller coaster was magically operational. That left us with the idea that in the future we will be spending our dollars elsewhere. There are plenty of surrounding places for grandkids to enjoy. read more

To give them credit, I love the food! The two stars is for their service. The people who are front and center are generally pretty nice but the person helping with prices obviously does not enjoy his job or at least does not want to be around children which is what this restaurant caters to. One of the games got stuck and I asked him for help but he was quite annoyed to do so. He used his own game card to fix the game and didn't even bother to give any tickets back to my family. I understand being bored on the job but you don't have to wear those emotions on your face which is exactly what he did. Customer service is important and he was not a contributor. It was not super busy, not one person acknowledged me, not even a SIMPLE (we'll be right with you) the entire 15 mins I stood there INCLUDING the MANAGER! It was as if everyone hated being there, including the manager. Once I was finally helped by the manager, who was very unpleasant (wasn't wearing his name tag) so I couldn't get a name. Hands me my pizza, with how everything was going I opened my pizza box because I wanted to make sure my pizza was well done which it wasn't at all. We LOVE PPP. Our kiddos enjoy going and playing games to win prizes. The pizza is one of our favorites. Last night was the first time we went later in the evening and only play games. We ordered a few fountain drinks and a salad for my daughter. Going later at night definitely brought out more of an older crowd who weren't as friendly as toddlers and middle schoolers. This place gets super packed super fast. Kids running around loud and yelling.. but you knew that already because if you know anything about Peter piper pizza you know that it's where parents take their kids for birthday parties. If you don't want to be bothered by kids and loud noises. You sit on the dine in side. Which has TV's and some nice plush seating. The specials are limited but the pizza is good. In the old location there used to be a huge merry go round. On this location they opted away from that and replaced it with an actual roller coaster type ride. Which is very fun for older kids. Someplace in the age range of 5-13. They also upgraded away from tokens (which are dirty) and can get sticky to a new electronic system. It's so nice, we got a wrist band and it was super easy to use. Simple wave the bracelet in front of the machine and it registers that your ready to play. Also it keeps track of your "tickets" when you earn them. They also got rid of the majority of the video games that are a waste of no tickets play. So almost every game in the place gives tickets of some sort. Pictures to follow. The pizza once again is what you remember, not as good as poppa John's but leaps and bounds better than little Caesars. The pepperoni pizza is what we got and there was a good amount of peps per slice. Very cheesy and that's what I like. We also ordered chicken wings which were small and expensive I believe it was $1.50 per wing. If you can believe that. But like I said you know what it is. It's good for what it is. I like it. And yeah they also offer a lunch special which is a buffet style. I didn't get the price on that but we've came during that time a few times and it's pretty good because they offer specialty pizzas like ham and pineapple, supreme, meat lovers. It's pretty good. I haven't ordered from PPP in a long time but decided I was craving some of their zucchini sticks so I went ahead and placed an order online. I got a NY style pizza with some zucchini. My first mistake was not paying online for said order. You have the choice of paying at the restaurant in which I did. I arrive at 7:06 when my order said it would be ready at 7:08. The kid at the register said it wasn't done yet and that they would call me when it was and then proceeded to crumble up my receipt. I go over to where he instructed me and they asked me what name my order was under. I told them my name and the guy said that the pizza was in the oven still because "sometimes people place an order online and not pay for it when they arrive". So essentially I was suspect of doing the same. Since I didn't have the receipt I thought for sure I wasn't gonna get my food. I also had to wait another 25 minutes for my pizza to be done. This experience needless to say reminded me of why I don't come here often. Along with the load chaos of screaming kids running around (in which 3 times almost ran into me) and their expensive mediocre pizza I doubt if I ever come back even for the zucchini that I was craving. Online delivery order was missing 2 items and the manager at the location said I had to go to the store to pickup the missing items even though they messed up. And I dont have a way of going to get my 7 yr old daughters food that was missing, but because they use a 3rd party delivery service they cant make them deliver said items. We went here today with a large group of people with special needs. It is a little smaller in size in comparison to other locations, but that does not subtract from the fun that you can have here, as they have several games and rides to enjoy. In addition to that, there are plenty of prizes available. The pizza here used to be terrible, but that was 15 years ago, which was coincidentally, the last time I came here. The pizza they serve today is OK. It's not the type that would make me come back just to have it as some have claimed, but it is good enough to supplement the enjoyment you can have hanging out here during the afternoon. We also ordered the cinnamon pizza dessert. Unfortunately I could not get through eating my slice as it was overpoweringly sweet. I was pleased to also find that there were very few games that were broken. Also, I really enjoyed playing skeeball and spent quite a while hanging out and competing with others to see if they could top my score. Awful experience. Waited almost an hour for food that never arrived. When I asked about the food, they had no interest in making it and simply said, "We didn't make it." The pizza here is by far my favorite and maybe I am biased because I worked here for 3 years about six years ago (Dang I'm getting old!) but I have yet to taste better! The crust is crispy. My go-to will probably always be the New York, however I have been known to dabble in some other pizza flavors as well. They have expanded their beer selection since I was there, and I am all for that little change! I reserved for a birthday party. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. There's trash everywhere. The actual trash next to the arcade has no bin so guests are literally putting their trash on the floor. The wings are dry and the pizza is burnt. We went here for a fundraiser and it was very busy. That is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I understand it's busy however the event was planned and they had plenty of time to coordinate additional help. The game room was PACKED and they had no one helping with machines for over an hour. Several machines ran out of tickets and kids were just SOL. We went here today for a birthday party. Tables were reserved, hostess was nice, pizza came quick. The place was relatively clean considering the amount of parties. The games all seemed to be in working order and the kids cleaned up in tickets today. That's the good stuff. Cons- pizza was normal, so sauces cardboard with extra grease. It's definitely an acquired taste. My biggest problem was when my son turned in his tickets. One of his prizes was "fart putty" you know the slimy stuff you push around and it makes noises similar to farting and the kids go wild. Well, this putty came in a container with a hole pre made to make above mentioned farts. Upon closer inspection this container is the lower half of a person! Yes a person! So my child will be fingering a a$$hole to make fart noises! In what world is a plastic a$$hole a appropriate toy for a child?! This butt even has pimples on it. I'm not joking! While I am usually pretty laid back I refuse to let my 9 year old repeatedly finger this plastic a$$ for sh$ts and giggles. I have no idea who is the buyer for this stuff but I hope it's removed ASAP. Otherwise no major complaints. It was a normal Peter Piper. There is a carousel and rollercoaster. But the people and managers made it worth every penny. Friends from church with older kids found a way to beat a few games and get lots of tickets for my little one. They put a stop to that. Walking in, it looked nice and clean even dead too so we bought a 2 topping pizza bread sticks and a large drink that came out to 36 dollars!!! It's all too clear from the outside that this is a birthday establishment for kids. But the best part about Peter Piper is how well they cater to the adults. With GREAT pizza and a decent amount of beer on tap you will have no problem drowning out the kids running around and throwing back some brews while the kids have a blast in a safe environment.
