My husband and I went for the lunch buffet. The food was cold and awful. The service wasn't good either. We asked for a refund and now the company won't issue me the refund. We don't plan on returning to this pizza place @ 6640 Montana Ave again. We paid almost $24 just for the two of us on the lunch buffet. Was there last night 12/6/24 was running very late to a family get together birthday party that began at 6:00pm got there by 7:20pm. Only to be greeted by negativity at the counter. I asked to buy a pitcher of beer for the table of the birthday party. The big obese short sighted server who wears glasses said I cant sell you anymore beer. I said You cant sell my anymore? what do you mean.? I just came in the door. Well he said what table are you sitting at? I have not sat yet, I just came in. But the table i will be its and I pointed towards it. He then proceeded to say that; They already had one pitcher of beer, and another could nt be sold. Okay ! wait a minute I said. You just said that you couldnt sell me anymore? and i said I just came in? then you say you can only sell one pitcher that they already have one. OKAY which one is it? i said Look that table next to us has 3 pitchers why do they get three but we can only get one. PLUS i just got here i have not been sold a damm thing. The manager stepped in quoting corporate policy like he had memorized bible verses like an evangelist tv minister. A bunch of nonsense he attempted to spew preaching and spitting out legal jargon that only an attorney would understand and we know that little mexican didnt even know what he was saying. IT MADE NO SENSE. I then said well listen I dont care if you dont sell me your F... beer, its the principle of fairness. AS a manager you need to see this looks wrong. You have a table with 3 pitchers right at the next isle. Then you have our table with one. Yet you say that you cant sell us anymore. He then proceeded to say that our table was drunk. I said DRUNK? on one pitcher??? the other table clearly has 3 that means more beer more people drunk (im guessing he is not good at math or commons sense either). SO let me get this straight I said. You cant sell me any beer anymore, one i just got here (remember was running late) I have not been sold any beer. Then you state that you cant sell us more due to the fact that our table already had a pitcher. THen you said you cant sell us no more becuase our table is drunk. Okay, this is very confusing. He said then that He could nt sell me alcohol because i was drunk. UUGGGHHHHHH I just said okay you know I dont want to hear anymore excuses. It is not fair and as a manager you need to look at that how can you sell 3 pitchers of beer to one long table out there but then discriminate our table and say that we cant have any more that its only one per table or that our table is drunk on one pitcher, or that I am drunk when i just came in. We love Peter Piper Pizza! We use this location for takeout when ordering online. They are always ready ahead of the time given and are very generous without asking for plates, parmesan, and crushed red pepper. They also are extremely generous of pizza toppings. I'd like to thank this location today for being openand having their dining room partially opened. We went to lunch today and all steps are taken to ensure safety and social distancing. The staff is friendly and had welcoming attitudes. The pizza was fresh hot and so delicious. No lunch buffet but I honestly was hoping that wouldn't be open so 2 thumbs up for that. Is it just me or has Peter Piper Pizza really taken a dive in making good pizza? I am paying higher prices and getting less toppings. What's worse is there is so much pizza sauce and so little cheese that it gives me heartburn! So, I order it with light sauce, then they put NONE! The pizza is sloppy, there is no heart in making it good, and makes the overall experience of it nasty! I think I'd rather stick to the 5 dollar pizzas and get crap then to pay 50 dollars and get crap! This place is awesome. I placed my order online, and said that my name was Andy for pick up, as this is my common nickname. When I went in to pick it up, they have a pair of boot prints on the ground with Andy written on the left one, just like toy story. I went and picked up my food by standing on the boots. Absolutely hilarious and great people work here. Plus, the pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious. Will definitely be coming back. read more

In terms of the food it is horrible. It's super expensive for the quality. We ordered a large pepperoni pan pizza for about $10 and received what looked like an overpriced digiorno pizza. The digiorno probably would have tasted better. We also got the kids a plain cheese pizza and now both of them have diarrhea and are throwing up. Could have been something else but I'm pretty sure it was the pizza. Overall the food was crap. Also other parents have no control of their kids, oblivious to what they're doing. Truth be told, I come here to eat pizza and relax, while letting my 30 nieces and nephews (stop having babies!) run wild. I once organized a birthday party here for my second favorite niece and the hostess was great. If there is one place I don't scold my nieces & nephews, it is here. I assume that if you are walking in to a PPP you know what you are getting into. Today, one of the managers came around asking if all was okay. When I realized I had not received my proper change, an hour later, I decided to bring it up to the manager, even though it was my fault for not checking my receipt. I'm not sure what I was expecting from a pizza place for kids, but we arrived at 1:45, I ordered a child's buffet and 3 adult buffets. The bill was $32. I had to order adult buffets for the two older kids who were with me and they both only ate 1 piece of pizza because it was just gross. Then, spent money on the arcade. It was about $50 for crappy pizza and a rip off arcade. Next time I'll be feeding the kids someplace else and only going to the arcade IF we ever come back again. read more
