The property itself was amazing!!! The pictures didn't do it justice. We stayed and Kahana Village 37 and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone! The area is beautiful and clean. The property has more than what you might need to stay and live and enjoy vacation. Beach towels were provided and sand toys, beach chairs, snorkeling gear and so much more. The beach right outside the property is rocky but the kids still enjoyed it everyday. Booking is easy and instructions are very clear. They are locally owned and have been very diligent about promoting responsible tourism. We stay at The Napili Bay #205 which is a fabulous studio apartment just steps from the beach and walking distance to 3 restaurants, a coffee shop and a snorkel store. The grounds are beautifully kept and it's a great mix of tourists and long-term residents. It's not a big resort with lots of amenities (Maui Beachfront has other properties that might provide that) but if you want a super pleasant and relaxing stay in Maui you can't beat this place. And you also can't beat the staff and service at Maui Beachfront Rentals. (The owner, John, actually gave me his phone number!)

This resort is not closed, we stayed in Unit 112 from January 3-8, 2024…read more I did post a helpful review on the VRBO Website but it does not allow photos so I'm following up with Yelp. This is an extremely dated unit that is located at the side of resort and unlike the beach facing units has no view of ocean unless you crane your neck around the plywood wall on the lanai and there is an unpleasant aroma that wafts in the room through the louvered windows. There is no pool or grassy area to sit and relax. The coin operated laundry is located in an outdoor building next to some gas grills. The owner has most all available space (drawers, closet, kitchen cabinets, underneath bed, lanai) jammed with personal items leaving little room for guests. This is a very small unit and unsure how more than 2 people could accommodate (her VRBO reviews stats a family of 4 stayed there??) Our first morning we awoke to cockroaches in kitchen and a non operating coffee maker. Coffee maker was replaced on day two. The refrigerator did not seem to cool properly and ice would melt in the freezer each day. The dishwasher has a broken lower rack that falls when trying to load dishes. On day 4 the kitchen sink started leaking and once again I contacted owner. She told us to discontinue using sink and dishwasher and to do dishes in bathroom. Later that day she called my cell phone and told us to return to room to let a lady in that was going to work on drain (apparently you must always keep room key in an outdoor lock box so anyone with code can enter. And no, there is not a room safe for valuables) The garbage can from under sink was now placed in the already narrow kitchen walkway. We were unable to prepare meals for 2 1/2 days and when I asked for compensation from Linda (owner) she completely ignored me. Her retaliatory response was to give me a bad guest review on VRBO which is laughable as we swept and cleaned each day to try to keep cockroach infestation under control. As mentioned, the front facing units are lovely, some are very nicely updated. The beach itself is centrally located and perfect for relaxing.

Everything was well kept and refreshed after each use. My massage with Holly on 1/5 was amazing. So relaxing. She allowed me to talk until I was calm (I get a little nervous with a new person) and made sure I was very comfortable. The massage felt so good I almost fell asleep. I felt amazing afterwards. No aches and pains. I felt 20 years younger. Thank you Holly. You're amazing!!! I came back 3 days later and had a massage from Piper. It was not relaxing. I'd call it more energizing. She worked the muscles hard. A very different massage. I definitely did not fall asleep during this massage. No talking, the music was annoying and the temperature was extreme. Sadly not my preference but might be someone else's. (My impression was the Holly let the client direct the massage where Piper told the client how the massage was going to happen). I will make sure I request Holly and change my schedule to match hers if necessary. She relaxed my muscles and touched my heart and soul. Mahalo. The receptionist is really sweet. She's nice to talk to and very knowledgeable about the shop and various things in the shop. She remembered my name when I called back to switch days and times. Susie was a great attendant. Everything was clean and well stocked. She even made sure the kettle water for my tea was hot. Thank you!!!

The staff brought our bags up quickly after and set up our bags. There are two closets and a mini fridge in between. They also have a safe in a very unique area. The bathroom is large with a separate toilet room however due to the layout the shower is a bit small - not conducive for shaving your legs.
