I came in for my first laser facial with Nurse Tara Adashev on 2/17/2026 using the Lutronic Ultra system. I had generally great skin but wanted to improve some minor childhood acne scarring and a separate surgical scar. The procedure went well, and I was instructed to stay out of the sun for 7 days before returning to my normal routine. I followed those instructions and had no issues. Three months later, I returned for a second treatment. I was told it would be the same Lutronic Ultra treatment but on a higher setting. Before the procedure, numbing cream was applied to my face and neck. It is supposed to remain on for at least 30 minutes, but Nurse Tara came in after only about 20 minutes and wanted to begin. I told her my face was still not numb and that I wanted to wait longer. She insisted I would be fine and started anyway. The procedure was extremely painful, and I spent much of it squirming with tears running down my face. Afterward, I texted Office Manager Becca Feldman to ask how long I should avoid sun exposure. She told me 7 days. Assuming the post-care instructions were the same as my first treatment, I followed that advice. After 7 days, I went outside wearing SPF 70 sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. That turned out to be a major mistake. I developed severe burning and hyperpigmentation across my face, particularly on my cheeks and forehead. Even worse, the treatment left two visible scars on my neck and one on my face near my left temple. After several weeks with no improvement, I contacted the office. Rather than showing concern, I was told by Nurse Tara that I should have avoided the sun for 2 weeks, not 1 week, despite having been instructed otherwise by Becca Feldman via text. I received no apology for the incorrect post-care instructions or for the scars that resulted. I was also informed that I had not received the Lutronic Ultra treatment I requested. Instead, I was told a more powerful CO2 laser had been used. The day before this procedure, my skin was nearly flawless with an even complexion. Now I am dealing with severe hyperpigmentation and permanent facial and neck scarring. After spending nearly $30,000 at this clinic over time, I requested a refund for this treatment and was denied. What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability. No apology from Office Manager Becca Feldman for providing incorrect post-care instructions. No apology from Nurse Tara Adashev. No apology from anyone at the practice. Instead, they kept the more than $1,500 I paid and offered a prescription for skin-bleaching cream to address the damage. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice for laser treatments. The inconsistent post-care instructions, lack of communication, and refusal to take responsibility for a poor outcome have been deeply disappointing. Anyone considering laser procedures here should proceed with extreme caution.

I will not and cannot recommend this practice to anyone…read more I am $9,000 (and increasing) in debt due to my surgery, which 1) made my scar look worse than before, and 2) put me in more pain than ever. In short, I expelled the suture. For the following 1.5 months after the surgery, I was pulling out pieces of hard plastic-like bits from my scar almost every day -- it was very graphic and painful. When I went to the doctor, he told me this happens and agreed that my scar looked wider than before. So he treated me with a V-beam laser and began charging me $500 per session after the initial trial session. He said I would need at least three sessions ($1,500), followed by three more sessions of microneedling and PRP ($1,500). You can do the math. Just keep in mind that all of these costs are 1) out-of-pocket, and 2) on top of the $9,000 surgery fee. Also, keep in mind that the 95% success rate he advertises is contingent on 1) a treatment called PRP, and 2) a radiotherapy treatment that has a 50% chance of leaving a **permanent** mark around the treated area (larger than the actual scar). He also informed me there's no treatment available to address such post-radiotherapy discoloration. I also witnessed the disorganization of the office and record-keeping system (since pre-op), as well as the lack of communication among the staff. From the quality of their self-developed creams (check Amazon reviews) to the difficulty of reaching the doctor post-surgery - in hindsight, there were so many signs that could have prevented me from going forward. My overall experience with Dr. Jones was increasingly disappointing and, in many ways, saddening. As a POC prone to keloids, I truly thought I had found a place and community to discuss and treat what bothers me so deeply. I went in with that mindset and came out with $9,000+ debt and a scar worse than before. I hope my story can help someone else. If you are reading reviews already, you'll see I am not the only case. In my case, the results of liposuction alone were aesthetically inferior to my previous appearance. In stark contrast to what Dr. Weintraub promised and what he advertises on Instagram, he did not remove ANY gland tissue. A different surgeon recently removed gland from me and verified it with photos. The second surgeon confirmed that I had previously undergone liposuction alone. Worse, even the lipo only procedure that Dr. Weintraub performed was uneven, removing way more from one side. I'm still dealing with the asymmetries. For this he charged me over $13,000. I believe there's only one reliable way to remove gland, and that's through the areola. I now understand that a skilled surgeon can minimize scars and can prevent cratering. Don't let an unscrupulous surgeon play on your fears.
