I never knew this artists' sanctuary even existed until last Sunday when I stopped by their 2nd…read moreannual fundraising event called BAM Fest. BAM = Beer, Art & Music, a perfect combination on a sunny afternoon. 18th Street was closed off to provide parking for food trucks & bicycles. I saw The Green Truck there, as well as Border Grille. 20 breweries donated beer from booths set up in a private courtyard flanked by galleries, where 4 bands provided live music. I only had time to stay for an hour, so I missed all the bands except Speedway (alone worth the trip from Redondo!). The event was packed but very well-organized. A bike valet was looking out for the crapload of parked bicycles. Maybe the reason I had no problem finding a spot for my car was because so many people rode their bikes. Beer and music were included in the price of admission ($35 advance, $40 at the door). All proceeds went toward funding spaces for artists to work & show their work.....a very good cause. The arts need support, especially in rough economic times. The festival attracted a great crowd. Despite all the free-flowing beer, people were upbeat without a hint of rowdiness. I love a good party on a Sunday afternoon and I'm guessing I'll be back next year when I will try to allow more time to hang out and enjoy the day.

I needed to…read morereplace several cracked glass panels in my coffee table, and the glass was an unusual textured pattern that turned out to be very difficult to find. After contacting several places, Adamm's was the only one I found who carried this type of glass and was able to replace and install it. The owner was fantastic to work with. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient, and he replaced and repaired all of the panels in about an hour! The finished result looks beautiful and his prices are very reasonable. He was a pleasure to work with, and his daughter was incredibly sweet as well. It's so nice to find a family business with such great customer service and specialized expertise. I highly recommend Adamm's Stained Glass Gallery for anyone needing stained, decorative, or hard-to-find glass repairs!

As stunning as the glass selection is, the owner, Adamm is a the true gem of this place! Knowledgeable, kind, and happy to take the time to share his wisdom and love of glass with his customers. He was absolutely lovely and delightful! I must also mention that I was honestly pleasantly surprised to find that his pricing is super fair and reasonable. I thought that a little gallery like his, especially in Santa Monica, would have to have inflated prices, but his were some of the best I've seen, even compared to pieces being resold online. My husband and I came in here on our anniversary and left with some divine little pieces that will always hold sentimental value for us! Adamm made the experience so memorable and special! I highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! If you are not already a glass enthusiast, this gorgeous shop will turn you into one! I absolutely love it and cannot wait to go back!

In a heavy pace, I carefully stepped into and out of cracks, struggled within high and low faults; feeling uneasy, and unwilling to embark on the road of no return. "On the Eve of Never Leaving" creator Trouve composes a feeling of losing time and space. Looking far away, I saw a pillow soaked in the water, it won't get wet? Is it a cover? A closer look reveals that he used marble, granite and agate to make soft cushions and pillows. Long dipping in turbid water. It raises questions about the causes and consequences of this structural damage. The water droplets that symbolize vitality are to be attached to the roots of the dead tree. It is best to wear flat shoes to see the exhibit and the security guard will let you approach the exhibits. I like to visit and film in the private art gallery. Because the security is more professional and courteous, let you shoot your photo. This blasting tree is waiting for the buyer, I think it is suitable for the dark cuisine, dark culture luxury boutiques. Three of the prints I brought in were from my friend Brian Viveros and extremely precious to me. He personally recommended I come here because it's now where he gets all his stuff framed. How could I not trust the artist himself? The staff were so lovely and knew exactly who Brian was, and recommended options in the styles he prefers so it would really pair well with the print. It took about a week and very reasonably priced for the amazing work they did. Parking is a bit challenging here, but I think just plan for that ahead of time. I went right at time of opening and got a spot right in front of the store. Happy to support a family-owned business and will continue to recommend them, and use them for any new artwork I acquire in my future.
